23/08/2025: We were very satisfied. Friendly staff. Very nice restaurant, beautifully decorated, and clean. The drinks and food arrived quickly and were very, very delicious. The dessert, tiramisu and crema catalana, was also delicious. We would definitely recommend making a reservation. We will definitely come back if we have the chance.

Ristorante Locanda Borgo Antico

12/08/2025: A really cute little place frequented by locals just below the B&Bs in the hills behind Recco. It's quite far from the center of Recco, so it's best to drive there, although you can also walk about 2.5 km. But it's definitely worth it. The place is vintage but clean and well-kept. The staff is really friendly. They have a decent wine list and a fairly traditional but well-curated and thoughtful menu. They offer both traditional meat and fish dishes. I had the pansoti with walnut sauce and the pork tenderloin with apples. Truly special. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. If I were to pass through Recco again, I would definitely return.

Interesting wine list... sommelier available.
Arrived without recommendations or word of mouth... one of the few places open and available on Monday evenings in August.
Good first courses and delicious desserts.

31/07/2025: The restaurant offers takeout and traditional baked goods, with extended opening hours.
There is no table service, but everything you need for a sit-down meal is provided. In addition to the classic cheese focaccia, you can enjoy traditional Ligurian dishes like farinata (made with chickpea flour) and torta pasqualina, as well as other savory vegetable pies (the onion one is excellent), pizza, focaccia, and more.
For those with a sweet tooth, you can purchase delicious cookies and, during the Christmas holidays, a delicious Genoese pandolce (the "low" type).
To these delicacies, I would add the owner's kind hospitality.
For me, U Fainottu is a go-to for a quick meal or to take home something delicious and ready to eat.

16/08/2025: We ate there last night. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, with a piano bar and friendly, helpful staff! If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing evening, it's highly recommended. It's not very well-known, which is a shame because it has so much potential.

17/08/2025: Good morning, a friend recommended a bistro and restaurant on the other side. We ate the cheese focaccia and culatello, followed by the sliced steak. Everything was perfect...very good service, very friendly staff, we had a great time...good value for money...go there with confidence, you won't be disappointed.

27/07/2025: A restaurant with a truly evocative and romantic view. I honestly expected more from the dishes; they lacked a bit of character, making the taste very flat and bland. However, overall, I'd recommend it because the menu is traditional and typical, so it's always appreciated (and maybe that night the kitchen went badly, that happens).
25/07/2025: Dinner on the veranda with a splendid sea view. The menu features traditional Ligurian dishes. Medi's focaccias are fantastic, as are the cuculli. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but considering the location, the generous portions, and the quality of the food, I'd say the value for money is worth a visit. Just one note: since there are only a few seats, remember that reservations are required!

Recco cheese focaccia is the best I've ever eaten.
My family also loved it, and they were amazed by its deliciousness!
No, that's not true! It's not expensive at all.
In fact, excellent value for money!!

To begin, the seafood pasta dish is a true masterpiece. Every bite is a symphony of marine flavors, with perfectly cooked pasta pairing magically with a wealth of ultra-fresh seafood: mussels, clams, scampi, and shrimp blend together in a savory and enveloping sauce. 20/08/2025: What a shame. We only ordered one tiramisu for the two of us and had to pay €2.50 for the "cover charge." What for, exactly? For the extra spoon? The service wasn't particularly great either. Everyone was grumpy and not particularly friendly. On top of that, the portion of tiramisu was simply very small. At least it tasted good, if not particularly good. We won't be coming back here.

25/08/2025: Throughout our stay in Recco, we saw people carrying boxes from pizzerias. We finally found Pizzeria Al Pomodoro, where all the pizzas came from. We had high expectations, and the food there exceeded them. The pizza was large, DELICIOUS, and the service was exceptionally friendly. If we have the chance, we'll definitely go back. It's the best pizza we've ever had in Recco.

23/08/2025: Very good restaurant. I had the beef tagliata, which melted in my mouth, while my boyfriend had a pizza, which was also delicious. We then had the focaccia pizzata, which was exceptional. Highly recommended!
22/08/2025: Recco, Saturday evening, all the places are full and so we choose to have dinner at Alfredo, this place almost under the station and under the Aurelia in a decidedly unfortunate location, completely empty at 8pm (is there a reason?) but we still want to try even if the premises are not the best... Outside but above all inside old, not historic but from the 80s with truly depressing lights but stoically we do not let ourselves be fooled by appearances. We decide to order several things: we start with the focaccia with cheese that they praise with a lot of IGP stamp but we wonder if the Recco consortium really controls the products of their members because we have never eaten such a thick, greasy and indigestible Recco focaccia with cheese in our life (we are often in Recco), pizza ditto and moreover without flavour, pitiful pesto (bitter) with very low quality trofie definitely not made by them, fried frozen fish Terrible, let's leave the desserts aside... We understand that these are people who work, but I would try to have a little conscience for the customers who eat terribly... Saying never again is an understatement, and we gave one star because we couldn't give less, easy to understand because practically no one goes there. I ADD in response to your rude comment: you're a liar and you should learn to cook because the dishes are pitiful, in addition to the "PGI" focaccia. Instead, I'll go back alone, so as not to make a fool of myself in front of my friends, and I'll tell you to your face the things that anyone can verify just by seeing without even tasting (so as not to be disgusted). Take a bath of humility and go back to hotel management school, you really need it. I hope to be able to return before its definitive closure, given how you treat people who truly understand food.
