26/10/2025: The perfect place to stay in Cinque Terre! A lovely little hotel in the old town of Monterosso- undoubtedly the best town to stay in in the Cinque Terre. Our room was a good size, with dual aspect and a cute balcony looking out onto the street. The best part of this hotel is the incredible garden/terrace, with incredible views. Breakfast was great, with various options each day. Look no further for somewhere to stay in Monterosso- Hotel Amici is perfect.

29/06/2025: Very wide choice that varies between dozens and dozens of dishes, you can taste an excellent escherichia coli, a salmonella of rare quality to find lately, all the hepatitis and even some not yet discovered by science, I do not give 5 stars because the ebola was a bit dry (it is right because it is a very complicated ethnic dish). Exceptional meat, the chicken is served still alive because it is so fresh, the fish at km0 probably caught at the mouth of the Entella. An experience to try.

05/10/2025: Little choice of focaccia and what there was seemed to be from the day before

15/08/2025: Ligurian focaccia was nothing special. It was annoying that when we paid, the POS terminal was charmingly broken, without any notice outside, at least not with a sign, given the long line. Damn these POS terminal manufacturers who make them so fragile.

19/10/2025: NOT CLOSED (October 25). Alba is a person from another era, with a simplicity, practicality, and generosity that touch the heart. Together with her sister (a century and a half between them), she runs a grocery store and trattoria that keeps alive the hospitality of a village that's not easy to live in. If you want to enjoy her authentic, homely cuisine (the ravioli and tagliolini we sampled deserve top marks), book a few days in advance so she can do the shopping and welcome you without fear of feeling like she's not welcome. I called her on Sunday morning for lunch, and she explained to me that she had nothing but a few ravioli and potatoes at short notice, but she made herself available anyway so we wouldn't miss our trip. She welcomed my father, my son, and me with a spirit that I could describe as touching, and with dishes (the one she had for herself and her sister) that took us back to the flavors of that great cook that was my grandmother. We'll be back with the rest of the tribe!

05/10/2025: Of course, the view of the sea at Nervi was fantastic, but the seafood spaghetti tasted like nothing... not even tomato... you could taste the parsley a little, but why did you find it in chunks in your mouth?

02/10/2025: I went to Ristorante Thermopolium in Genoa with a friend. I had the fish cooked in a potato crust, and my friend had spaghetti frutti di mare. We enjoyed our food, which was tasty, well-cooked, and came in generous portions. The restaurant is located on the beautiful Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi in Nervi, offering a stunning sea view that adds to the dining experience. We enjoyed a gorgeous July sunset, and the staff were exceptionally kind, making us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a leisurely meal. Prices were reasonable for the quality and location. Overall, it was an amazing evening, and I’d recommend Ristorante Thermopolium to anyone looking for authentic Ligurian cuisine with a view.

26/10/2025: I've read several negative comments that seem more rooted in ignorance and envy. I've been going to Muccini for three years now, and besides being kind and helpful, the products inside are delicious and fresh, and at the bar you only meet people laughing and joking.

08/06/2025: Marmorassi Festival I waited a good 2 hours to have a second and only dish of roast with chips but I must point out that it was sold out and that's fine but maybe organize better for the next time!!! I hope that the fact of organizing all this better is taken into consideration and it's a shame, the festivals are known to be voluntary SMS and it's nice because some have music and bands that play live and keep the festivals of the small villages and towns alive to maintain local traditions and many young people and they are not always there!!!! It's not a complaint but I hope that in the future all the festivals are organized WELL!! a warm greeting to all of you!!! 😘
