27/10/2025: Tried to get a table for one - first they said, “No.” then they sent me off to a table for another restaurant. Bummer.
Oof - after reading the reviews, I think it was my lucky day they were so rude and I left.
20/10/2025: Everything was delicious. The pesto pasta was special. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

04/07/2025: I confirm the previous reviews, of a unique antipathy, know-it-all and arrogant. It becomes annoying to give money to those who denigrate their work in this way instead of being happy to be in a place that allows tourism. It should close.
25/05/2025: One of the worst bars I've ever seen.
The bartender is the epitome of rudeness, already at 8 in the morning she's angry with the world and despite the effort to not tell her to go to hell, I couldn't.
I've never seen a businesswoman who treats customers like this, in my opinion she should change jobs, immediately.

15/08/2025: I've always had a good experience there. The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is beautiful, as are the Bialetti collections, cups, and tableware with charming and unique designs. The coffee they sell is decent. Less memorable is the quality of some of their non-core products, which are clearly rebranded and low-quality. One suspects they cost so little to produce that they make a significant profit on the retail price, but I'd recommend removing them from the assortment.

05/07/2025: Appena entrata ho notato agitazione e caos come quando arrivano in casa ospiti inattesi.Il locale è molto spartano. Il piatto che mi è rimasto impresso è un secondo di calamari bolliti mescolati casualmente con delle erbette biologiche salatissime. Anche i primi erano totalmente slegati dal condimento. I dessert non pervenuti... sarà il loro sogno ma per me è stato un vero flop.

I can't say anything about the food because I didn't dare eat it.
Absolutely not recommended.
The good reviews are mostly from a year ago.
26/09/2025: Eating at Monica's was a wonderful experience. A super-sweet woman who unfortunately drinks a bit too much. But she cooks fantastically. I can recommend it to everyone; just go for it.

While volunteers are busy collecting trash from the beach and water, the owners of this place dump it directly into the sea. A total disgrace, these people have no respect for the environment or their customers. Disgusting!

12/09/2025: It was an unforgivable mistake to book hastily. The only positive
note was the studio's sea view.
The apartment was extremely dirty, and the access stairs were filthy. The studio was in a state of total disrepair. They don't provide towels, despite this being stated in the property description on their website!
The cost is absolutely not worth the service. The friendliness of the reception staff is questionable.
NOT RECOMMENDED
16/08/2025: Old and poorly maintained facility. Staff absent. Bathrooms date back to the 1960s. Electrical systems substandard. No lifeguard at the pool despite the height. This facility is highly discouraged.

03/10/2025: Slow service preparing my food. Dirty branch with uncleared tables, dirty floor and generally grubby looking. Small fries stingy. Gosh, I've read other reviews and you'd think a company would correct these failures.

28/09/2025: This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. It was an unparalleled disgrace. We ordered food, but one of the two orders was forgotten. When we asked, a plastic container of ready-made pasta was put into the microwave. €15 for this is unbelievable. The place should be shut down.
09/09/2025: A terrible mess. To say "price doesn't match the quality" is like saying nothing at all. The pizza was reheated in the microwave, hot on the edges, and served cold inside. The waiters don't speak English very well. When I asked for the pizza to be reheated, the lady got offended.
The ham and pesto toast—the cheese was melted, the ham was cold inside, also tasteless.
"I don't recommend it" is an understatement. It's a money-making machine with no quality whatsoever. It's better to go hungry.

26/08/2025: One star, not so much for the price, which is still outrageous (€7 for a small cone), but we're in Portofino, so we expected it. However, for that price, I expect the gelato to be at least good, if not exceptional. Instead, the gelato is mediocre; the pistachio flavor we ordered tasted like fior di latte.

11/06/2025: We had breakfast at this place. We took two pieces of focaccia (good) and asked for a glass of water. The water was poured from an already opened bottle, of dubious origin, and it was HOT. When we asked for another glass of water the lady inexplicably got annoyed and didn't pour it for us. What can I say.... a bad impression for a glass of water😂😂😂
