19/12/2025: I got a takeaway pizza, what can I say, it was really delicious, it's a shame I was just passing through, the staff were friendly.

05/12/2025: I've stopped here because I've noticed extraordinary pizza in menu. To say I was not disappointed would be a huge understatement! The pizza was superb! Dough soft, topping was fresh and top quality. The starter has just blown my mind. I've never tried better fried zucchini. It could be the only reason you should try it this place. It was SPECTACULAR. The waitress was very kind, smiling a lot, she was dressed in a jacket, giving her impeccable look! They serve Italian craft beer. I am honestly in love with the place. Good prices, amazing service, and very comfortable atmosphere. I enjoyed every second here!

01/03/2026: Disgraceful to say the least. I found a hair in a ravioli, they took the ravioli away and then brought back the same dish without the hair. Geniuses! I saw people getting up because they didn't like the food, the fish was of extremely low quality. I strongly advise against it.

17/05/2026: We ate at Il Timone and left feeling truly satisfied. There were four of us, and we ordered appetizers, a few first courses, fried fish for the main course, and coffee to finish. From the start, we were welcomed and pampered with kindness and simplicity, that authentic approach to dining that is increasingly rare these days. The dishes arrived generously, well-prepared, and with authentic flavors. The first courses deserve special mention: exceptional, rich, flavorful, and the kind that still tastes of cuisine crafted with experience and tradition. The fried fish was also dry, tasty, and prepared with great care. We paired everything with a good, crisp white wine, perfect with fish and very enjoyable throughout the dinner. What really stands out is the atmosphere: a seafood trattoria like it used to be, without unnecessary frills, authentic, family-friendly, and down-to-earth. Here, it's all about eating well, enjoying the meal, and feeling at home. Sincere, generous, and heartfelt cuisine. We'll definitely be back.

10/05/2026: On a gloomy day, we chose Il Timone in Fregene to celebrate a special event, and it was an excellent choice. The atmosphere is welcoming and nautical-themed, and the seafood is of good quality, with excellent first courses and delicious fried fish. The homemade tiramisu is also delicious. We'll definitely be back to enjoy the outdoor seating on summer evenings!

07/12/2025: The best pizza by the slice I've had in I don't know how many years. Light, crispy, fresh, and flavorful ingredients. The staff is friendly, and believe me, I'd do anything to have a pizzeria so close to home. My colleague took me there, and now it's a must-visit every time I pass by. Seriously, congratulations, professionals.

10/05/2026: We waited forever, and then the dishes arrived at different times, and there were only three of us. For a risotto, the wait was an hour... simply disgraceful! Never again, and the prices are too high for what's on offer.

26/12/2025: As excellent as everything is, a platter of cured meats for two (normal quantity), two pucce, a bit of pizza for the platter, two glasses of wine, two glasses of amaro and free sweets... eighty euros for an aperitif, in short, doesn't seem like a great deal to me! We're exaggerating, it's a shame I would have gone back.

02/06/2026: Top croissants! Incredibly delicious panettone! I've never had a panettone like this! Caramel and coffee... soft dough. The classic one is also delicious. The filled croissant is fantastic.

01/06/2026: I'm giving it one star because it's the only thing less. It's not my first time visiting this "pastry shop." I was looking for a berry cheesecake. While I was looking at the cakes to decide, a young woman came over and asked if I'd made up my mind. I understand my inexperience, but being pressured into choosing instead of offering to help isn't the best thing. The responsibility lies with the people who run the place, who don't bother to train their staff properly. I also asked what some of the ingredients were for another cake, and the young woman asked a colleague what it was, and the guy couldn't answer either. Furthermore, I asked if there was an extra charge for the candles, and they said yes. I've never been charged anywhere else. Terrible experience. This is truly the last time I'll set foot in there. Educate the people who work there!

22/04/2026: Had a really enjoyable meal here. Ordering was quick and easy, and the food came out fast without feeling rushed. We had the beef tagliatelle, which was rich and flavorful, and another pasta dish that we customized by swapping a few ingredients — the kitchen was happy to accommodate, which we really appreciated. Everything tasted fresh and well-made. But the moment that really stood out came after we left. We were already about five minutes down the street when one of the staff came running after us — we’d forgotten our sunglasses, and she chased us down to return them. That kind of genuine, above-and-beyond care is rare, and it turned a good meal into a memorable experience. Friendly service, tasty food, and staff who truly look out for their guests. Would absolutely come back.

20/04/2026: Wasn't the best food on our trip but service was great. There was not many options in the area so we went with this one based on reviews. The food was not as described on the menu forsure. Also we ordered from a picture on a review and the dish came out with a completely different pasta.
