I had lunch at Il Pioniere and I must say it was a truly excellent experience.
The food is top-quality, everything is delicious, and attention to detail is evident. The service was excellent: even though we hadn't booked, the staff welcomed us with great helpfulness and professionalism.
Special thanks to the waiter with the ponytail, whose kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness were truly spectacular. At the end of the meal, he was also pleased to offer us coffee and a limoncello for my partner, a much-appreciated gesture.
The girls who took care of table reservations were also very friendly and helpful.
A place where you feel welcomed right away. We'll definitely be back!

A truly wonderful experience. Usually on Easter Monday, the service and food aren't as great as on regular workdays, but they exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is charming, small, simple, and seaside, and the service is friendly and attentive. But we were truly disappointed with the food: the pasta with clams was overcooked and dry, the linguine allo scoglio was overcooked with seafood that lacked freshness, and the tomato sauce was thickened (with flour or something else) and tasted like a mush, lacking any seafood flavor. The fried anchovies were limp. The marinated anchovies with puntarelle were definitely a highlight, and they were very good. The price (€20 for a plate of pasta) is that of a good restaurant, the pasta is like a diner's menu. I'm sorry.

Welcoming, simple, and quiet atmosphere. Soft paper tablecloths and napkins. Quick, friendly, and attentive service. We had excellent marinated anchovies with puntarelle (chicory), excellent baby octopus with caramel. A five-star calamarata. Spaghetti with clams was al dente and well-seasoned, but today the clams didn't seem fresh and many of the shells were empty. Excellent Ansonica with a fair markup. Complimentary coffee and cookies. The place is always sunny, there's ample parking, and you can walk to the beach in three minutes. €40 per person in January 2026, well spent.

Unconventional. We came here on December 31st for lunch! Impeccable service! Kindness and professionalism. Small but well-kept and welcoming atmosphere. 2 adults and 3 children! The little ones ate deliciously! Clean dishes! VERY HIGH quality!
