23/07/2025: We return to this restaurant often, and every time the experience is impeccable. The quality is consistent, as is the attention to every detail. The cuisine is balanced and never predictable. Each dish is conceived and crafted with great respect for the ingredients (which are equally high-quality) and with a mature vision, even though the chef is young. At the end of the meal, we often stop to chat with him. It's a moment that enriches the experience, because you can sense all the passion behind it. In short, a place you'll gladly return to.

29/06/2025: Sunset wedding on 06/23/2025, everything was perfect as we imagined. Incredible staff followed us step by step throughout the evening. Abundant and delicious food from appetizer to dessert. Thanks to Tiziana, Elisa and Achille wonderful. Can it be replicated?!! The guests filled us with compliments.

06/08/2025: Cena a menu fisso, semplice ma davvero gustosa, a un prezzo più che giusto. L’Oste Matto è simpatico, cordiale e si è dimostrato molto affettuoso con il nostro bambino, che ha coccolato per tutta la serata. Il locale è molto carino, sia all’interno che sulla terrazza: accogliente e con uno staff sempre disponibile, ma mai invadente nel proporre le portate successive. Consigliatissimo. È stata senza dubbio la miglior cena della nostra vacanza!

Personale cordiale, gentile e sorridente, ma il plus é Peppe, l'oste matto: un uomo simpaticissimo e sempre attento e premuroso. Il locale serve un menù fisso composto da 5 antipasti, primo, secondo contorno, dolce, caffè, amari ed acqua. Piatti gustosi e vari. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottima... Stra consigliato!

16/08/2025: It's always a pleasure to sit at one of their tables and be served in the best possible way. I was here with my partner and a dear friend, who was brought along specifically to impress, and that was exactly what happened. We had three appetizers: seafood salad, burrata, raw red shrimp, and roasted octopus. Then, as off-menu main courses, the specials of the day included mixed fried fish, cod au gratin, and swordfish with vegetable caponata. Everything was excellently cooked, with authentic and well-crafted flavors, and the service was always attentive and friendly. Kudos to the wine list, truly thoughtfully designed with excellent selections at fair prices. We opted for Walter Massa's Timorasso, but there was truly so much to choose from. Kudos to them, because you can see the commitment and passion in this as well. Finally, we were so satisfied that we even indulged in dessert: two pasticciotti with cream and black cherries and a warm chocolate tart paired with a Barolo chinato. We'll definitely be back again and again!

28/07/2025: The staff could be improved, the waitress was rude, and there were four small slices of bread for two platters. The food was very good, and the price could be reconsidered. The pistachio cake was the best dessert I've personally tasted.

01/07/2025: La Drogheria – Meat heaven in the heart of Terracina In Terracina there is a restaurant that every true meat lover should visit at least once: La Drogheria. A place that stands out for the quality, care and passion with which each dish is prepared. Behind the Brace there is Ciprian, a real guarantee: here the meat is not cooked, it is enhanced. The selection is wide and well-curated, with both national and international meats, always cooked to perfection. The local side dishes are also excellent, which further enhance each dish. The menu also offers good first courses, but the real protagonist is undoubtedly the meat section. The red wine cellar is worthy of note: carefully selected labels, perfect to accompany the gastronomic experience. The service is attentive and adequate, and the bill fully reflects the quality offered. I highly recommend it to those who want to have a true culinary experience, especially if they are passionate about red meat and authentic flavors. A point of reference in Terracina.

30/06/2025: For the umpteenth time a pleasant surprise! We returned after a few years and ate for the first time on a wonderful panoramic terrace and we were served very well. In particular thanks to Gianluca who knows how to pamper his customers in a very professional way.

17/06/2025: Good entree, appetizers, seafood salad and shrimp tartare you could feel that the raw materials were of quality to follow we had spaghetti with fish ragù and with anchovies and cherry tomatoes, as a second course slices of roasted fish fragolino sea bream and cod. Too much blue fish on the menu (three dishes) the flavors from appetizer to second course not memorable nothing that makes you want to return.

01/05/2025: Credo sia la prima volta in cui nessun piatto riesca a essere ricordato con un aggettivo positivo. Se dovessi sintetizzare la mia esperienza, userei una sola parola: piattume. Ma andiamo con ordine. Nei piatti non ho trovato alcuna particolare ricerca: molti erano addirittura sbilanciati e, comunque, nulla che meritasse davvero di essere annotato. Tartare di gamberi: Usare la IV gamma per la tartare è imbarazzante, soprattutto in un ristorante stellato. La spugna e il corallo, poi, sembravano usciti direttamente dagli anni ’80. Il tutto è coperto da una salsa ai ricci troppo invadente, che annulla ogni altro sapore; resta solo una spiacevole sensazione al palato dovuta alla consistenza della spugna, mentre il gambero sparisce completamente. Voto: 1 Seppioline con gelato di aragosta (new entry del menù): Già leggendo il piatto si capisce che il risultato non potrà essere memorabile, e infatti l’assaggio lo conferma. Le seppioline contengono una sacchetta di nero che esplode al taglio — un “gioco” che però rovina l’armonia del piatto. Il gelato di aragosta scompare dopo i primi bocconi, lasciando solo il gusto dominante (e divisivo) del nero di seppia. Voto: 2 Terrina: Qui la parte affumicata sovrasta tutto, mentre la gelatina non porta alcuna freschezza al palato. Anche la presentazione è identica agli altri piatti: banale e priva di carattere. Voto: 4 Tagliolini all’aglio nero: Tristezza infinita. Un piatto che potresti improvvisare alle tre del mattino senza nessuna difficoltà. Banale, senza idee, assemblato senza alcuno spunto creativo e tristemente anonimo anche nella presentazione. Voto: 0 Plin al doppio ripieno: Ma il fondo dov’è? Semplicemente assente. Voto: 5 Piccione: Qui si sfiora il ridicolo. Una ricerca forzata di “naturalezza” senza nessuna intuizione creativa. La trovata di proporre il piccione da mangiare, se si vuole, con le mani è gestita male: se questa è l’idea, va portata fino in fondo, magari servendo in due tempi e senza posate. Così resta solo una via di mezzo maldestra. Cottura corretta, ma senza alcuna anima. Voto: 1 Dolci e piccola pasticceria: Saltati senza rimpianti: l’umore era ormai compromesso. Personale: Abbastanza attento. Carta dei vini: Ampia, anche se la selezione di vini naturali è un po’ scarna; comunque buone possibilità di scelta. Locale: Carino. Prezzo: Adeguato per un ristorante stellato (8 portate), se solo fossero anche all’altezza. Conclusione: Non è un ristorante che consiglierei per nessuna occasione, tantomeno per un anniversario o un evento speciale.

28/03/2025: Ristorante di livello che merita il riconoscimento, il menu degustazione in pieno stile 'stellato', con pietanze ricercate e attenzione alla materia prima. Unica pecca la carta dei vini, non completamente aggiornata con i vini che non erano più disponibili. In ogni caso un'esperienza meravigliosa.

21/04/2025: We chose this place for Easter Monday. The outdoor tables on the square allow you to relax and enjoy lunch calmly. The sandwiches are excellent, as are the fried foods and the mixed bruschetta. Fast and friendly service. We had a great time 👍
