08/08/2024: I went there this year for the first time by pure chance following the signs scattered everywhere. It was a nice surprise, the place was very cool and the host was kind. Very varied menu. If you are in those parts I recommend you go.

18/05/2024: Si mangia davvero benissimo, la carne squisitissima , si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca , abbiamo anche assaggiato verdure grigliate davvero buone. Il personale gentilissimo, veloce e simpatico. Abbiamo atteso giusto il tempo della preparazione della carne .Posto super super consigliato

12/08/2024: Eating good fish in a seaside resort sometimes turns out to be more difficult than expected. I was in the Scauri area for about ten days and I had the opportunity to try several restaurants, but with disappointing results. Then they told me very well about this place and they weren't wrong. The menu is not very large, but it is interesting and varied. All courses were presented very well. The raw materials are certainly fresh and of high quality. The combinations are spot on and the result of evident experience and passion for cooking. The wine list is decent and the mark-up is low. The staff is very professional and well led. Parking is ample. The last stretch of road is a bit narrow and unpaved, but it's worth putting up with some (small) inconvenience.

26/08/2024: Oliva e L'ingegnere rappresenta oramai una nostra tappa fissa estiva. Anche quest'anno siamo ritornati da loro e come sempre non ci hanno deluso. Il posto è intimo ed accogliente e propone pochi coperti. La cucina è eccellente ed innovativa, ogni anno troviamo un nuovo menù. Le portate sono equilibrate ed esaltano i sapori dei singoli ingredienti, il tutto con un'ottima carta dei vini. E' davvero difficile dire cosa ci è piaciuto di più della nostra cena, perché è stato tutto squisito a partire dagli antipasti per finire ai dolci. Il prezzo è giusto per l'elevata qualità che offrono. Ci ritorneremo presto come sempre!

26/08/2024: Oliva e L'ingegnere is now a regular summer stop for us. This year too we returned to them and as always they did not disappoint us. The place is intimate and welcoming and offers few seats. The cuisine is excellent and innovative, every year we find a new menu. The courses are balanced and enhance the flavors of the individual ingredients, all with an excellent wine list. It's really difficult to say what we liked most about our dinner, because everything was delicious, starting from the appetizers and ending with the desserts. The price is right for the high quality they offer. We will be back soon as always!

21/08/2024: Sono stato con la mia famiglia a provare questo rifugio.. per quanto riguarda la vista nulla da dire ma per tutto il resto ce solo che dire MAI PIU !! Ordinati primi piatti totalmente insipidi (abbiamo dovuto chiedere il sale) a mio avviso leggermente piu cari della norma e poco abbondanti… dopo la totale delusione abbiamo chiesto il conto e siamo andati via.. Di sicuro non ci tornerò piu..

14/08/2024: The Impero café is located practically in the center of Formia, on the main street. The restaurant, in addition to being on the main street, opens into the municipal villa where it offers the opportunity to sit and stay cool. Internally it is very large, with plenty of seating, well furnished and cared for. The staff is very kind and above all cheerful! Excellent place to eat an ice cream or aperitif in company and relax. Advised !

18/08/2024: Tables in the middle of the little square, all in all nice, fast and friendly staff, fragrant and very good pinsa. The only negative note was the very poor lighting which didn't even allow you to see what was on the plate.

24/08/2024: If I could I would give 10 stars: very good meat and excellent cooking, you can see that they know and respect the product they offer. We ate an 800g steak for two with escarole and parmigiana, everything was good, super meat! Then very kind!!

01/07/2024: On jun 24 margherita pizza with mozzarella di bufala was very very very good. And also home made desserts and a 0.5 lt Weiss beer were noticeable. All came at reasonable price of 33 euros for 2 people. The waitresses were very kind and efficient but service (for pizzas) was slow. Place is a little bit outdated. Some children played around the tables, but being outside make their chaos happy and... "quiet".

12/08/2024: If I want to eat an excellent sandwich in Formia and excellent fried foods, I only choose this place. Very nice location (I had dinner on the terrace), kindness and courtesy from everyone and good food. Excellent raw materials. Place to visit without doubts! I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years and I think it is the best ristopub in the area.

23/07/2024: Pizzeria with a large flow of people and drinks, but nevertheless they are super fast and friendly. I ate one of the best pizzas of my life 🔝❤️

17/08/2024: Beyond the very tavern atmosphere, the quality of the fish is appreciable. What really doesn't go down well is the negligible quantity of the portions to say the least: both for the risotto and for the frying they were absolutely not worth the price.
