01/05/2026: Very nice place, and that's where the positives end.
A €32 charcuterie board was billed as enough for two, when it was barely enough for one. We had to top it off with a bruschetta, which was good but ordinary (the lady taking our orders said they were renowned for their bruschetta, which is saying something).
The service was pathetic; in addition to a 30-minute wait from ordering, which was unreasonable for slicing three charcuterie items, it was embarrassing to have two waitresses bring a single dish, and they even got the wrong table (note that only three tables were occupied).
Highly not recommended.
19/04/2026: Spectacular terrace overlooking the Valpolicella.
A very charming and well-kept place, ideal for lunch with a panoramic view and excellent wine.
Very friendly staff.
We had lunch on a sunny Sunday, in the cool of the terrace, accompanied by excellent bruschetta, tartare, and a goat's cheese platter with quince and fresh pear mustard, along with a tasting of Valpolicella wines.
A must-try.

16/04/2026: An enchanting spot on the San Giorgio Deceive Poltron hill, a small terrace overlooking the finest Valpolicella cru, overlooking Lake Garda. Historically, the management has been precarious and improvised. What a shame.
15/04/2026: The restaurant/bar boasts a stunning panoramic location.
They offer wine, aperitifs, finger food, and light daily specials.
The bar has two indoor rooms and several outdoor tables.
It gets very busy on weekends with good weather.
Fair prices and prompt service await every guest.
Definitely worth a stop!

03/06/2026: Quite a lot of people were standing there waiting for the restaurant to open. Then one person walked in, because it was already 7:45 PM. They just casually told them there was no food. Several people had made reservations and received confirmation. Too bad for words. Absolutely not normal.

30/04/2026: A very charming and quaint place in the center of San Giorgio. Not very suitable for large groups. It seats about thirty people, some of which are housed in a former stable. Pleasant service. Good ingredients, excellently prepared and served.
Special mention for the truly special goose prosciutto.
The bill was slightly "unbalanced"... in my opinion, of course 😉. All in all, a positive experience that I will repeat.

31/05/2026: A pleasant place with a family atmosphere,
welcoming and friendly staff.
We went for lunch today and it was a pleasant discovery; we ate upstairs where you can enjoy a magnificent view.
Traditional cuisine in a very elegant, rustic setting.
An unexpected detail: the very friendly owner recommended the most interesting places in the area, providing us with brochures and guides.
Highly recommended.
29/05/2026: The meatballs are out of this world thanks to the mix, sauce, and reduction. The first courses are also excellent, in keeping with authentic tradition.

07/02/2026: I stopped here for a work menu. The food was average, and the price was reasonable. Very good service. I recommend it for a business lunch.
22/12/2025: First time in Italy that I did not feel welcome. Maybe they have a perspective of foreigns. The place close at 2:30pm and we arrived at 1:40pm. Not sure it was because our skin color.
Otherwise, it's very affordable.

17/04/2026: We stayed in the area on April 7, 2026 and ordered 4 pizzas for home: Pugliese, Bufala, Valtellina and a Calzone. It is only for Take away or delivery. The dough on all four pizzas was tasteless, dry and without the classic Italian finesse, the Calzone was burnt all over and the ingredients were of very low quality. Canned mushrooms and especially the ham were all mechanically separated meat nuggets with gelatin all over. Nothing like the prosciutto cotto that we are used to eating. Fortunately our next experiences in Italy were very good, but this negative experience left us indelible!!

Cibo di qualità in particolare le fettuccine con porcini e crema di zucca veramente consigliatissime!
Prezzi modici, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Se vogliamo trovare il pelo nell'uovo, la strada per arrivarci é un po troppo "wild".
08/09/2024: Siamo stati a cena con amici, costata e tagliata a dir poco immangiabile......consiglio ai proprietari di tirare le orecchie ai propri fornitori.
