07/02/2026: I stopped here for a work menu. The food was average, and the price was reasonable. Very good service. I recommend it for a business lunch.

22/12/2025: First time in Italy that I did not feel welcome. Maybe they have a perspective of foreigns. The place close at 2:30pm and we arrived at 1:40pm. Not sure it was because our skin color. Otherwise, it's very affordable.

19/05/2026: Pizza delivered to your door, hot on time, and delicious! The best thing is to eat it in the restaurant.

17/04/2026: We stayed in the area on April 7, 2026 and ordered 4 pizzas for home: Pugliese, Bufala, Valtellina and a Calzone. It is only for Take away or delivery. The dough on all four pizzas was tasteless, dry and without the classic Italian finesse, the Calzone was burnt all over and the ingredients were of very low quality. Canned mushrooms and especially the ham were all mechanically separated meat nuggets with gelatin all over. Nothing like the prosciutto cotto that we are used to eating. Fortunately our next experiences in Italy were very good, but this negative experience left us indelible!!

15/04/2026: We ordered the cake for our daughter's baptism (well in advance). Unfortunately, we didn't pick it up ourselves, otherwise we would have left it there or had it fixed! I'm attaching a photo! The cake was delicious in taste, we can't say enough! As for the decoration, even though we specified that we wanted a beautifully decorated cake, and the lady who took the order had even written it down, we were quite disappointed! I don't expect such a sign from a pastry shop; it looks like it says "Bdttesimo" and the decoration is made of sugar flowers you find at the supermarket! What we were most disappointed about was that before leaving a negative review, I stopped by in person to complain and show them a photo of the cake, and the response was: "I don't know what to say, I'll buy you a coffee." There are many ways to make up for it, certainly not with a coffee, especially since we're the ones who have the ruined memory, but they got €180 for the cake even though they didn't deserve it!! We definitely wouldn't go there again, and anyone who asks us on our behalf is a definite no! Highly inadvisable and unprofessional for us and our experience!

15/04/2026: Excellent pastry shop, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Special cakes. The pastry chefs are talented and friendly. I recommend it.

14/03/2026: My boyfriend and I arrived around 12:50 and left around 2:30 without having eaten anything. As soon as we were seated, the waiter had us scan the menu and we started ordering. We started with a few dishes, so as not to weigh ourselves down right away, but after more than half an hour, nothing had arrived, so we decided to reorder. After perhaps 40 minutes, the first dishes arrived, except for the hot ones, which must have arrived towards the end of the meal (so we waited over an hour for them and they arrived cold. I should point out that I'm talking about three fried shrimp). The waiters also repeatedly mixed up the tables, bringing us other people's dishes, which we politely sent back (so I'm starting to think that perhaps many of our dishes were delivered to other tables, leaving us without them. This is also understandable since many orders marked "delivered" weren't). Finally, we got up because after two hours we didn't feel like waiting any longer, even though we still had three hot dishes to choose from. I was surprised to find them near the cash register waiting for something I don't know (which explains why so many dishes arrived cold). It's Saturday, the restaurant is busy, so I understand the service is less efficient, but at the same time, if you know in advance that you can't handle all those tables, you don't take so many reservations. I'll conclude by saying that the table next to ours (with at least 12 people) received all its dishes; so I don't wish they'd given priority to larger tables, as they generate more profit. I would have appreciated at least an apology from the management, not just a free coffee.

01/06/2026: From saying, "It's full, so I'm leaving" to "I'll be back soon." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Happening to visit by chance with friends after a truly long absence, I spent a very pleasant, cool evening in a truly beloved location. We're in S. Ambrogio di Valpolicella, just above Domegliara and at a point where the Valdadige and Chiusa di Ceraino pass into the Veronese plain, so the evening temperature is perfect. I almost left because all the tables were occupied when I arrived, but as I was leaving, I was immediately called back because a table had just become available. In my opinion, the menu offered a rather limited selection of desserts, and when I shared this impression with a member of staff, I was asked to make suggestions, which I will undoubtedly gladly do so they can assess whether it makes sense or not. Despite the basic selection in the dessert section, I received really good advice: I ordered a warm strudel, which—aside from the truly generous portion—proved to be absolutely flawless and distinctive in its unique flavors and textures: it was almost as if I were enjoying it in Piazza Walther in Bolzano. I was also delighted to find a nice Guinness among the beers on offer, so I finished on a high note. Aside from the generally friendly and welcoming staff, I particularly appreciated the kindness and extremely refined and respectful manners of a very young but truly impeccable waitress. This struck me because certain behaviors are increasingly rare nowadays (and therefore appreciated). If I had to suggest a male "alter ego" comparable to this girl's highly professional manners, I would suggest you go for an excellent coffee at the "Gamberini 1907" bar in Bologna Centrale railway station on platform 1, right where the stairs lead up to the underpass, on the corner with the Piazzale Ovest dei treni. A waiter of excellent professionalism and truly impeccable service will amaze you with his attention, his speed in serving you, his movements, and the absolute cordiality typical of this splendid city to which I too have dedicated a slice of my professional life.
