03/09/2024: Strong cuisine, pretty weak service Family dinner with 7 adults and one child. All the dishes we ordered, meat, fish and vegetarian, tasted excellent, high quality, prepared to perfection and attractively presented. Particularly noteworthy was the mixed starter platter “from the water”, three portions of which were ideal as an attractive, versatile starter for the table. Unfortunately, the bread served with it (for the delicious sauces and chutneys) was almost inedible. Unfortunately, the service was largely inadequate. We couldn't order 5 minutes after we were seated... But unfortunately the waiter didn't come back until 20 minutes later. We asked for the dish we ordered to be prepared quickly for the child at the table. When asked about this, they said in a relatively unfriendly manner that we still have antipasti on the table and therefore the dish cannot be served yet. Later, however, some primi and secondi came for one guest at the same time. This was disputed/returned for later. The dish came again later, but was then doubled on the bill. One dish was delivered completely incorrectly, but due to the already very long waiting time, we accepted this without comment. There were a total of 5 different waiters at the table, some friendly, some less so. The restaurant was not at full capacity. After we had eaten all the courses, the main waitress asked if we were ready for the main course. The entire service was therefore very uncoordinated. The main waitress was very helpful and friendly during the payment process (main dishes charged twice...). Unfortunately, the offered grappa on the house never arrived. Unfortunately, food with the corresponding price level and the service offered do not go together at all. It's a shame, because the cuisine and location are unbeatably good.

17/08/2024: One of my favorite restaurants! ♡ Located on the Aril river, the shortest river in the world, in the village of Cassone di Malcesine, a stone's throw from Lake Garda. The food is absolutely delicious, both in quality and preparation. The mixed fish starter "tut quell ca ghé" is unparalleled, as are the lake carbonara and the desserts. Lake fish is a true specialty to be savoured. Beautiful outdoors under trees and umbrellas. We often join other friends of ours to have lunch here together, and it's always a guarantee. Courteous and attentive service. Impeccable and clean bathrooms. Parking in front of the premises inside their gate. Afterwards you can take a walk in the always beautiful and characteristic marina, with an adjacent museum. Wanting beautiful also the walk that reaches Malcesine through the Val di Sogno. Advised!

13/08/2024: Antipasto tris di pesce con presenza di una mosca morta nella trota! Come rovinarci la cena e la serata ancor prima d’iniziare! Primi piatti molto scadenti e ambiente per nulla curato..alzavi gli occhi e ti trovavi una miriade di ragni di media dimensione che ti sorvolavano la testa! Ordinato una bottiglia di vino presente nel menù ma non nel ristorante. Un vero peccato per una location del genere!

03/08/2024: Ristorante con vista splendida sul lago. Cenato alla sera. Cibo veramente ottimo e personale all'altezza e molto cordiale. Da provare assolutamente....

23/08/2024: We spent 2 weeks on holiday at Lake Garda, the restaurant and pizzeria (and hotel) at Cervo is the only one we returned to for dinner. Modern and very clean room, the bathroom looks like a living room, in fact there is also a TV. We tried both the restaurant and the pizzeria, finding high quality ingredients and recipes with really interesting twists, such as the pasta with carbonara enriched with smoked eel instead of the usual bacon. The pizza stands out for having a high edge and a fragrant dough, very digestible because it has risen for 72 hours, in fact it does not produce crumbs as it is never dry. Absolutely worth trying.

06/08/2024: Great restaurant with a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. The dishes are excellent and the service very efficient. Sometimes you have to wait a bit to get a table, but the wait is worth it.

05/08/2024: Perfect pizza, not the best we ate during the trip. Good aperol spritz though. Nice view and nice staff.

07/08/2024: Top from top for an excellent pizza, the dough is very good and generously garnished. The young girls who serve are smiling and the service is fast. Good address

04/08/2024: One of the best pizzas in Malcesine is served here. Super tasty thin base, the edge is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Have never been disappointed. Unfortunately, the pasta dishes are not always great, so the quality varies... Could be improved. A nogo is the Parmesan from the bag. But you can look past that. Service is very friendly and attentive. Gladly again!

24/08/2024: Best house on site! The pizza is second to none. Pasta was very good and the tiramisu was a dream.

16/08/2024: We were here by chance by the pool and for dinner after a tour of Monte Baldo, the place is enchanting

13/08/2024: We came for lunch in this "inn" on the slopes of the famous Monte Baldo... truly unique location with a view of Lake Garda, we had lunch on the very beautiful and welcoming veranda, the internal part completely renovated which is also beautiful and welcoming... good typical dishes and tasty, well plated, truly excellent; Very friendly staff and owners! We then stopped at the swimming pool for an additional cost, relaxation with a super view insured! Absolutely recommended 🔝

30/08/2024: I only rate the hamburger and fries among the dishes. Compared to hamburger joints in Hungary / Budapest, it is a huge disappointment. (Average there: 10/7, this place would get: 10/2 for these dishes). It only got 2 points because of the portion size. It is tasteless, dry, and does not come with homemade sauce. Sorry, but it tastes like a tragedy. Unfortunately, the fries too. Answer to the owner: 1. I put the bike NEXT to the outside bench so that they could sit on it comfortably: i.e. I didn't put it in front of it, so that it wouldn't disturb anyone. 2. On the menu, under the ingredients of the hamburgers, the term sauce is mentioned. Which, according to my understanding, is not the same as ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. which are finished products. I would recommend developing/using a homemade sauce, which makes any hamburger much tastier. :) 3. Inside, I took a seat at the table where I was sitting, because there were a total of 2 other people inside besides me. I think the number of seats inside exceeded 10. Obviously, I would have moved to another table if necessary, so I could see the bike.

25/08/2024: Super tasty. The Piadines are recommended. Very rich and you can taste that everything is freshly prepared. Very friendly owners. We would be happy to come back 😊

27/07/2024: A wonderful dinner, a refined and high quality fish menu, as well as a sublime pizza. Beautiful rooms, and very kind staff! A real treat!

01/09/2024: MAI PIU '. Il locale si presenta in una posizione meravigliosa, terrazza invitante e vista piacevole. Il parcheggio distante . ( Potrebbe passare). Piatti ben cucinati e presentati. Servizio scarso. All'arrivo chiedo dell'acqua che è arrivata dopo 15 Min. Con un cameriere privo di sorriso e atteggiamento infastidito. (Ok) Chiedo del pane e un piatto mai arrivato (ok). Ordino antipasto e primo , per il secondo ci penso; il cameriere con la solita espressione risponde la cucina chiude tra un ora(quindi?) . ( Va bene ci penso) (-4) , dopo il primo chiedo dell'acqua al cameriere passano 10 Min chiedo ad una cameriera, altri 5 Min per bere. (-5) ,, quindi per bere devo interrompere il pasto. Arriva il secondo richiedo dell' acqua , passano altri 6/7 Min, il cameriere porta un vassoio con l'acqua insieme ad altre bevande prenotate da altri . (-6) . Momento del dessert. Camerieri con vista a tunnel. Aspetto 10 Min. La lista dei dolci; il cameriere in sala che fa il piacione ad un tavolo con tre ragazze. Mentre continuo a fare cenno. NULLA. Mi alzo pago il conto alla cassa . Tutto bene ? No spiego il motivo. Risposta mi dispiace, ma non è scattato neanche . le faccio portare subito il dessert o le offro un caffè per rimediare .. nulla di nulla . Mi dispiace , mi dispiace. La risposta. Il caffè e il dessert l,ho consumato in un bar del centro. Si sceglie il ristorante per la qualità del cibo, per l'eleganza e la bellezza del posto ma quando manca il servizio pur pagando il dovuto rimane solo l'amaro in bocca. Grazie

20/07/2024: We had dinner here for the first time and were very happy with the service and the very fresh, quality products (strozzapreti and carne salada). Very good house wine of their local production. I absolutely recommend trying it, even if the location is not at the marina (with nice place but inferior qualities). Advised.

05/07/2024: Wir waren schon mehrfach dort. Sehr gute Pizzen, haben schon mehrere probiert. Haben von anderen Urlaubern den Tipp vor Jahren erhalten, dass man dort die beste Pizza in Malcesine bekommt, fur uns ein absolut richtiger Tipp. Warum so wenig Menschen dort essen, ist für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Netter Wirt, der uns jedes Jahr wieder freundlich begrüßt, kommen gerne wieder.

11/08/2024: Very nice place surrounded by greenery, frequented mainly by tourists but also some locals. Very easy to get there if you are near the lake and offers ample parking space. It is in fact well organized and they are very quick with service, although the staff doesn't pay too much attention to courtesy, perhaps caught up in the frenzy of fulfilling the order as soon as possible. It's a shame because the food is very good and the portions are really generous. We had a pork shank and ribs both very good and I recommend them. We also tried a Kartoffelsalat, which was good but didn't live up to the name. The tiramisu, however, was excellent. Average price around €30 per person. Absolutely worth trying.

10/08/2024: Nice and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food is simply thrown carelessly onto a plate. We don't know how long it had been in the warming counter before... my ribs were very tender but there was a lack of spice... boring and processing like on an assembly line.

16/08/2024: Erg lekker eten voor een goede prijs, is een van de goedkopere restaurants in de buurt. Heeft, ondanks dat het goedkoper is, ook nog eens een ruime keus aan eten. Niet alleen pizza en pasta. Meerdere keren hier gegeten deze vakantie, zeker aan te raden! Personeel is enorm vriendelijk.

28/07/2024: Our room was overlooking another building so we kept curtains closed therefore room was dark.Very basic room, but extremely clean and charming.Staff were all really friendly and helpful and reception staff went over and beyond.Fantastic location.Breakfast was great.Overall,Would definitely recommend this hotel

02/08/2024: Attentive professional staff. Accommodates families well including young children. Amazing food, beautiful location, reasonable price wise. We come every year to malcesine and out of 18 days, go here 5 times!

14/07/2024: Siamo in una cornice stupenda, direttamente sul lago. Abbiamo ordinato tutti dei primi piatti: -spaghetti allo scoglio -tagliolini al nero di seppia con sugo di trota, piselli e zafferano -tagliatelle verdi con gamberoni e gocce di burrata -spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino Non so descrivere quanto siano buoni questi piatti. Uno meglio dell'altro. Un'esperienza da estasi. Lo chef é davvero spaziale, di un altro pianeta. Il cameriere Mimmo simpaticissimo e gentilissimo. E niente... voglio tornare di nuovo
