27/08/2025: My fiancé and I celebrated our anniversary by enjoying the Finest Dinner, an experience I recommend to everyone. The atmosphere was WOW, I think it was the most romantic dinner I've ever had, with the option of playing any song from Spotify as background music during dinner. Inside the dome, there was oil, breadsticks, and focaccia available, and I had the appetizer menu swapped for a first course, the same for both of us. The wine was excellent and the dishes were truly delicious. If I really had to nitpick, I'd say that perhaps the desserts (although very good) were a bit too many, and that the pasta (we chose bigoli cacio e pepe) was perhaps too thick (personal taste). Despite this, we had a great time; the chef was at our complete disposal, and I really appreciated the fact that the courses didn't arrive one after the other, but rather spaced out a bit, presumably to allow us to have our own private moment. We'll definitely be back.

20/11/2025: The ambiance is great, there's really nothing to complain about there. The food, however, is a different story. I'm a big fan of Bavarian cuisine, but the pork knuckle and ribs were very dry and had clearly been on the grill for a while. The sides, like potato salad and sauerkraut, were rather subpar. Otherwise, it's self-service like a cafeteria. So, service is practically nonexistent. All in all, it's not really good value for money. I'd like to go once, but I don't need to go again.

15/11/2025: A quiet place to eat good quality food. The price is a bit high for what they offer, as it's a diner-style place where you walk by with a tray and bring your own food to the table. Paid €28 for a half chicken, sausage, fries, and a Coke.

12/12/2025: I can't comment on the hotel itself, I only had a cappuccino there and it was absolutely fantastic. Afterwards, we drove straight to the coffee roastery in Riva del Garda. The service was also very professional and friendly.

20/10/2025: Absolutely average food, nothing special. You can find equally good or better pizzas everywhere in Malcesine.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

12/10/2025: We're served bottled tap water, treated with the Culligan system, at the "modest" price of €3.20! The bottle is clearly dirty inside. We ask for sealed bottled water and are told they only have that type of water. This alone would deserve a lower rating. The veranda overlooking the lake has a central iron band that effectively blocks the view. The male staff isn't friendly, and a few more smiles wouldn't hurt. The pizza (Neapolitan style) is good, and the food, overall, is good (which is what matters!).

06/01/2026: A restaurant with a truly family atmosphere, a varied menu, and, as a friend says, a spectacular view. Definitely recommended for a simple pizza, lunch, or dinner. Kudos to all the staff for their helpfulness and kindness.

01/10/2025: We were on vacation in Malcesine at the end of September 2025, but not at this hotel. We lost our bag containing our debit card and cell phone near the hotel. Hotel guests left it at the reception. Guests and the hotel reception staff initially tried to contact us by phone and email. This allowed us to quickly and easily retrieve our valuables. Thank you very much 😀

03/01/2026: All the food was delicious 👍 The menu was limited for a winter dinner. The atmosphere was cozy but a bit dark. The owner was very friendly to Thai people. The prices were also reasonable 👍

03/09/2025: Locanda Monte Baldo is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The view is heavenly, and the tranquility that reigns there is a luxury. It's clear that the owners put a lot of heart and effort into this place. I highly recommend it!

22/10/2025: While strolling around the city, we decided to stop in for a bite to eat. While all the restaurants had their kitchens closed until evening, this place was open as usual. It was a very large establishment. The dishes we ordered were quite tasty. I'll add... the best lasagna of my entire time in Italy.

02/11/2025: We got the tip from a guidebook, but we were very impressed. The restaurant is almost directly on the lake, with a fantastic view and a wonderful atmosphere when the sun is shining. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, providing unobtrusive service.

23/10/2025: Closed. The information on Google Maps and their website isn't updated. Closed all day. There's no information even on the doors. Their attitude toward people is disrespectful.

25/10/2025: The food was very good, but in the off-season, it's still very expensive for lunch. We paid €100 for lunch for five people. For that price, you can eat 1 lasagna, 2 Greek salads, 1 fish, and 1 diavola pizza. Drinks included 0.75 liters of wine and 0.75 liters of water. This is the only restaurant in the area open during siesta.
