02/06/2025: We always go this place whenever we are on the lake. This restaurant is on the pricier side though , with entrees averaging around €50. It has a cozy environment and just next to the shortest river in the world- Fiume Aril. Last night, we waited around 20 minutes for them to take our orders, not sure if they were just busy or understaff. However, talking about the FOOD, every dish we tried was bursting with rich flavour… unique and delicious. Some of the dishes did feel a bit pricey for the size, but we enjoyed them. A perfect place to treat yourself!

21/05/2025: Location ben tenuta, pulita e organizzata, personale molto gentile, sorridente e ben preparato nel spiegare i vari piatti. L'antipasto imperiale buonissimo e altrettanto i primi piatti scelti. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio.

06/06/2025: An excellent hotel in the heart of picturesque Malcesine. The rooms are beautifully furnished and well-equipped. The breakfast is excellent and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a private parking lot a short distance away, which is free to use. Short-term parking spaces are available for loading and unloading at the hotel.

21/06/2025: So affordable, it's unrivaled in Malcesine. If you're lucky enough to reserve a table right by the water, it's perfect. The only downside is that you need to reserve at least three days in advance. We were very lucky and got a table for Friday the next day. We couldn't have gotten a table for Saturday or Sunday. So, for the weekend, you'll probably have to book a week in advance.

29/06/2025: I think this is now my favourite restaurant in malcesine. We’ve been coming here for 15 years and i didn’t know it existed somehow! Great location, great prosecco, food portions are big. Loved the free pour limoncello and grappa! The weather was stupidly hot but the service was brilliant, no idea how they managed to stay sane. This was the best restaurant of our holiday, if I was here longer I’d come every day. Best dishes were the swordfish and the fritto misto: very big portions! Very happy we came here. Much better service and food than other malcesine restaurants this week! I probably had 4 shots of free grappa, well done La Pace 👍

29/06/2025: Been visiting this restaurant every time I'm in Malcesine for the past 5 years and it has not changed one bit. Still great seafood and very consistent cuisine.

27/04/2025: Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel Querceto e abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo che è il ristorante interno. La cena è stata molto piacevole, vista lago nonostante le temperature non caldissime perché la possibilità di chiudere la sala con vetrate consente di godere sempre di uno splendido panorama. La cucina è assolutamente originale ed appagante, offre menù di carne e di pesce, e piatti vegetariano, con utilizzo di prodotti locali. Noi abbiamo optato per piatti a base di pesce, tutti molto curati e deliziosi. Il servizio è attento e discreto, l'atmosfera romantica. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

18/06/2025: We came across Casa Fernandez on Friday evening, after having spotted their paella several times during various trips to Garda… and finally decided to try it! We booked a couple of hours in advance (the paella is on request — it is highly recommended to book in advance also because the restaurant has few seats and fills up quickly). The restaurant is located in a charming street in the center, a few minutes from the lakefront. The atmosphere is simple and authentic, perfect for a relaxing dinner. We chose the traditional Valencian paella: a large portion and really tasty (the photos speak for themselves - “Clean plates don’t lie”). We accompanied it all with half a liter of sangria and still water, spending about 25 euros each, an excellent quality-price ratio. One detail that we really appreciated: the owners speak Spanish among themselves, which adds a nice touch of authenticity — I imagine they are originally from Spain. In short: excellent dinner. We will definitely be back!
