15/06/2025: We received a very friendly welcome and were able to communicate well in English. Great prices, extremely delicious pizza! It tasted really good!

21/05/2025: The price-performance ratio is good. We ordered lasagna, pizza, and schnitzel, all very tasty. The price for food and drinks was around €10-20 per person. An appetizer would set you back €20-30.

05/08/2025: Generous portions in the beautiful setting of a South Tyrolean beer garden with a magnificent view of the mountain ranges. We camped next door at the Lombardi campsite, and the Speckstube was our destination several times. It's often busy, but always fast, well-coordinated service with self-service counters. Delicious dishes for meat eaters, not so much for veggies... and no pasta or anything like that either. But that's part of the concept and is appreciated by the locals!

05/08/2025: The lawn with the tables is cool, well-maintained, and breezy. The cuisine is super carnivorous; vegetarians can enjoy French fries. The service is fast, and the beer is excellent and cold. I found the desserts to be limited.

21/08/2025: A beach bar/restaurant right on Lake Garda/Malcesine. The food and drinks are good, and the prices are absolutely reasonable! You can get pizza to go starting at €7, and a 0.5l Stiegl beer on tap for €5. A large scoop of ice cream costs €2. We went there quite often.

21/08/2025: Excellent food with a very extensive menu and a beautiful location. The service wasn't quite as good as in previous years—maybe it was due to the timing, but it wasn't full.

11/07/2025: 10/07/25 We had a delicious ice cream at the side of the hotel; they serve huge scoops! The lady who prepared our ice cream was also very friendly.

03/07/2025: I had a family dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. Service needs improving (young waiters are kind by old ones not really). We ordered pasta with shrimp tartare and were excellent. The pork chop was large but very tin, was very dry like and taste like piece of paper (not recommended). The grilled beef was acceptable but nothing special, no seasoning. I would not choose the restaurant again.

07/08/2025: Het eten was goede kwaliteit, ook in de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De bediening is vriendelijk, het bedrijfsmodel lijkt erg op omloopsnelheid per tafel gericht. Dat is jammer, want het terras met uitzicht op het meer is fantastisch en doet af aan de sfeer. De beoordeling zou op ruim voldoende moeten staan.

30/07/2025: I had reserved a table for my husband and me on the evening of July 28, 2025. The restaurant was full, but the reservation wasn't particularly important; we were assigned a table without even mentioning our names. The food was served quickly, and the drinks and bread arrived very quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. The food was good, no doubt about it. However, the atmosphere was too rushed for us; there was a constant coming and going, and the tables were very close together. Since the restaurant is located directly on the busy promenade of the old harbor, it simply seemed very hectic. The service was professional and friendly, and at the end, we were given a self-service bottle of limoncello. We prefer a quieter and more comfortable seating, especially for longer, preferably somewhere off to the side where people aren't constantly walking past. For this reason, despite the good food, I would choose a different restaurant for us next time. But that's simply due to our subjective experience.

10/08/2025: The food is okay. The people are nice. If you get a seat by the window, you'll have a great view of the lake. Overall, though, the atmosphere is rather dull.

15/08/2025: Tables on a narrow street lined with shops. A quaint place. Excellent paella and sangria. Fast and friendly service. Cheerful atmosphere.

20/08/2025: Had lunch here only. Pasta with garlic, olive oil and peperoncino was very nice! Also recommend the spinaci in butter!

12/08/2025: I've been coming to this hotel for several years, and I'm happy to come because I feel so welcome. From the manager to the rest of the team, they're all fantastic. I feel right at home. It's strange that it's only a 2-star hotel; they deserve another 8 for their kindness and the way they welcome people. Every time I come to Malcesine for therapy, I'll always ask to stay at this hotel, because the people are fantastic.

30/07/2025: Questo locale assicura un buon servizio con una gentilezza e evidente esperienza nel sapere accogliere e trattare bene il cliente. Buona la pizza e molto buone le cozze . Ci torneremo volentieri !

29/06/2025: We just fancied something simple to take back to our hotel balcony for a chilled evening after a busy day out and all the various resturants we had tried previously. We didnt know what to expect but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. I know its only a pizza and chips but it just goes to show that simple food, sensibly priced and cooked well can beat many of the up market places if done with pride. Well done. Give it a try!

08/08/2025: Great family-run hotel at an amazing location overviewing Garda lake! We had a lovely stay; very friendly stay, very nice breakfast, calm and beautiful… We will come back..(one day;-)

04/08/2025: Stunning view. We took a break during a walk and had a drink. Quiet and stunning panoramic view. Friendly and fast staff. Possibility of using the pool for the day. Parking.

29/08/2025: Top location. The food was very tasty, the main course a bit underseasoned (for my personal taste), but overall it was very tasty.

27/08/2025: Al Bacio is a superb restaurant in an outstanding hotel. A family-run business where quality is paramount: not only in the ingredients of the dishes, but also in the quality of the service! We spent two wonderful weeks at the hotel and ate there often because it was so delicious and offered regional dishes. Eating the entire menu is absolutely possible here! Also, be sure to try the tiramisu – delicious. The fantastic view over the lake is also free. We've been to the hotel and restaurant many times and always enjoy coming back. Dogs are allowed – great for our four-legged friends. Overall, 10/10!

16/08/2025: The prices don't match the food!!! Prices are too high for the amount of food you eat!!! The service is mediocre, better to change careers... A rip-off....

10/08/2025: We stumbled upon Casa Italia by chance during our Lake Garda vacation because we wanted to have dinner very late one evening. Even 10 minutes before the kitchen closed, we received a very warm welcome and, after a quick decision, even received a generous portion. There's nothing wrong with the food; we went there two more evenings and were very pleased with the taste and quantity of the food each time. The service, including the attentive and courteous staff, deserves special mention. You feel very comfortable and welcome. This was the deciding factor for us to return several times. While there, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake! To finish off, a limoncello. Completely satisfied! We'll be back!
