09/08/2026: Trattoria Campiano is always a great place to be. The staff are friendly, and the outdoor seating is very popular. Reservations are highly recommended. Their cuisine is authentic, made with high-quality ingredients, and we enjoyed it. They also have a nice selection of wines. The location is on a hill, about 400 meters above sea level, and warm summer evenings are spectacular, with unique sunsets. Ample parking is available nearby.
For those without a car: for a dinner away from the chaos of the historic center, take a taxi. It's worth it; you'll enjoy the tranquility and the view.

26/07/2026: Nice location, but reservations are highly recommended. We hadn't reserved, and despite a friendly welcome who said the wait would be a maximum of 15-20 minutes, it turned into 45 minutes (not ideal with children). I ordered lamb, which unfortunately arrived breaded (this wasn't mentioned on the menu). It was okay, but it lacked the classic lamb flavor. My husband ordered a fish platter, and everything was breaded and fried.
My son's pizza was tasty. The service was friendly.

06/07/2026: I've been frequenting this place for years, always passing through, riding my motorbike, swimming in the lake and then to finish off a nice and delicious pizza to take away and eat on the beach, a ritual that has now been respected every year. Compliments also to all the staff for their friendliness and professionalism, also I don't think I've ever found a place where they make you 2 pizzas in 5 minutes. 🫶🏻
30/06/2026: Tourist trap! All tables were free – we wanted to sit in the shade, but not in the stuffy air, so we went outside to the terrace! We weren't allowed! As I said, all the tables were free and it was still early!

We ordered five main courses, and unfortunately, none of them were very good.
17/06/2026: As part of a hotel, the service was, as expected, first-class. The attentive, friendly, and competent service perfectly complemented the quality of the food, which was served in tasteful china. The reasonably priced wine was served in style. Around 8 p.m., the sunshades were retracted, and we were able to sit outside on the terrace overlooking Lake Garda.

16/08/2026: I was there last night. We were touring Malcesine for the traditional Ferragosto (August 15th) trip, and we were struck by the name, the menu, and the location. We found a table and didn't regret our choice. Good food with a wide selection, a lovely courtyard with a lovely atmosphere, and friendly waitresses—everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

04/06/2026: A beautiful little retreat at 600 meters altitude, right next to the mid-station with a breathtaking view of Lake Garda. The food is excellent and the rooms are beautifully renovated. The hosts cater to every need, and we will definitely remember this hotel as our favorite place and will certainly return.
20/05/2026: The restaurant is rated as very nice, with a great view and ambiance, but the zucchini fritters, for example, at almost twenty euros, are in my opinion extremely and disproportionately overpriced.

09/08/2026: Total disappointment. The service was terrible, and the food was just as bad. In hindsight, seeing Hawaiian pizza on the menu should have been a red flag... The crust of our pizza was hard and tasteless, for a grossly exorbitant price. The same went for the pistachio pesto pasta: there wasn't a trace of basil or pistachio in it. A real tourist trap, avoid it. And the complimentary limoncello didn't redeem the meal at all... Keep walking

21/05/2025: The price-performance ratio is good. We ordered lasagna, pizza, and schnitzel, all very tasty. The cost for food and drinks was around €10-20 per person. With an appetizer, it would be €20-30.

17/09/2025: Typical Italian! Delicious food, especially for the price! Excellent value for money. We ate here several times during our vacation, and it was our favorite restaurant because the price-performance ratio was perfect. The service is friendly, and the herbs are picked directly from the garden. You could see it happening.
Highly recommended!

01/10/2025: We were on vacation in Malcesine at the end of September 2025, but not at this hotel. We lost our bag containing our debit card and cell phone near the hotel. Hotel guests left it at the reception. Guests and the hotel reception staff initially tried to contact us by phone and email. This allowed us to quickly and easily retrieve our valuables. Thank you very much 😀
