09/02/2026: As always, the Garden is a guarantee! It's a unique place, the food is always delicious and fresh, the portions are generous, and the staff is always super friendly, helpful, and smiling! Raffaele, Mimmo, and the entire team are great! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat well and not spend a lot!

20/10/2025: Absolutely average food, nothing special. You can find equally good or better pizzas everywhere in Malcesine.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

17/09/2025: Typically Italian! Super delicious food, especially for the price! Absolutely amazing value for money. We visited here several times during our vacation, and it was our favorite restaurant because it was absolutely amazing value for money. The service is friendly, and the herbs are picked directly from the garden. You could see it being picked. Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: We're served bottled tap water, treated with the Culligan system, at the "modest" price of €3.20! The bottle is clearly dirty inside. We ask for sealed bottled water and are told they only have that type of water. This alone would deserve a lower rating. The veranda overlooking the lake has a central iron band that effectively blocks the view. The male staff isn't friendly, and a few more smiles wouldn't hurt. The pizza (Neapolitan style) is good, and the food, overall, is good (which is what matters!).

24/02/2026: Expect seafood cuisine like our mothers and grandmothers used to prepare. Everything is truly delicious. The mussel soup is excellent. I'll be back soon. The staff is excellent and very friendly.

01/10/2025: We were on vacation in Malcesine at the end of September 2025, but not at this hotel. We lost our bag containing our debit card and cell phone near the hotel. Hotel guests left it at the reception. Guests and the hotel reception staff initially tried to contact us by phone and email. This allowed us to quickly and easily retrieve our valuables. Thank you very much 😀

03/09/2025: Locanda Monte Baldo is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The view is heavenly, and the tranquility that reigns there is a luxury. It's clear that the owners put a lot of heart and effort into this place. I highly recommend it!

21/05/2025: The price-performance ratio is good. We ordered lasagna, pizza, and schnitzel, all very tasty. The cost for food and drinks was around €10-20 per person. With an appetizer, it would be €20-30.

02/11/2025: We got the tip from a guidebook, but we were very impressed. The restaurant is almost directly on the lake, with a fantastic view and a wonderful atmosphere when the sun is shining. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, providing unobtrusive service.

22/10/2025: While strolling around the city, we decided to stop in for a bite to eat. While all the restaurants had their kitchens closed until evening, this place was open as usual. It was a very large establishment. The dishes we ordered were quite tasty. I'll add... the best lasagna of my entire time in Italy.

12/12/2025: I can't comment on the hotel itself, I only had a cappuccino there and it was absolutely fantastic. Afterwards, we drove straight to the coffee roastery in Riva del Garda. The service was also very professional and friendly.
