13/08/2024: Ma copine et moi avions repéré ce petit restaurant grâce aux tables offrant une belle vue sur le canal. Malheureusement, notre première impression a été gâchée dès notre entrée. Lorsque nous avons demandé une table près du canal, le serveur s'est montré très désagréable. Avant même que nous puissions poser une autre question, il s'était déjà retourné pour accueillir le client derrière nous. Malgré ce premier accueil peu chaleureux, le cadre du restaurant nous a séduits, et nous avons décidé de leur donner une seconde chance en revenant le lendemain. Quelle erreur ! Une table au bord du canal venait de se libérer, et lorsque nous avons demandé si nous pouvions nous y installer, un serveur nous a dit oui tandis qu'un autre nous a dit non. Un manque de coordination flagrant ! Une fois assis, nous avons ressenti une pression pour commander rapidement. Les plats étaient bons mais loin d'être copieux, ce qui est regrettable compte tenu des prix et de la facturation des couverts. Après avoir terminé, aucune proposition de dessert ne nous a été faite. Lorsque nous avons demandé, on nous a répondu que ce n'était pas possible car la cuisine allait bientôt fermer, alors qu'il était à peine 22h et que le restaurant est censé être ouvert jusqu'à 23h, selon Google. Pour couronner le tout, déçu de ne pas pouvoir partager un dessert avec ma copine, j'ai exprimé mon mécontentement de manière respectueuse. Le serveur a simplement ri au nez. Une expérience extrêmement décevante, je ne recommande pas ce restaurant.

11/08/2024: Very very poor. Food was below average; pasta heavy and gluggy. Bread was like a dry meringue made of chalk powder. Left most of our meal , paid the bill and left. There are so many other options around.

21/08/2024: Koselig sted ved kanalen, her kunne man sitte i skyggen og nyte utsikten av båtene som kjører forbi. Vi bestilte pizza og pasta carbonara. Pizzaen var godt, pastaen var noe hard etter min smak. Prisene er som forventet til stedet mellom 15-20 euro for hovedretter.

18/08/2024: Every time we returned to Venice, we looked for this bar. Once upon a time there was a very welcoming lady with whom we could have a chat. Now, the lady is no longer there, the prices have skyrocketed: 3.5 euros for a cover charge (we only had handkerchiefs, we asked for the cutlery, because apparently you eat spaghetti with your hand), the Macchiatone was different from what it should have been, the Bellini no peach purée. Two people, 61.50 euros. Avoid at best, or just drink a bottle of water (4 euros).

25/07/2024: Such a scam, tourists trap I ask how much for aperol they said 5 euro. But when bill comes it is 12 euro. But this place has an amazing view.

12/07/2024: Second time coming here 10/10!!! Really enjoyed it. It’s the ultimate stop next to the bridge to watch the boats. Highly recommend. Tables are always taken unless you come early in the morning. It’s a sun trap too you get great sun here. Food is delicious, authentic. All round great experience. Don’t know they have such little stars.

10/08/2024: Food is good. Maître d was polite. But once there was a misunderstanding about "split" as the waiter cannot answer my follow up question (which is fine, I have a lot of patience and I just asked for my food to be all together), I detected a change of tune... over everyone. Card was thrown on the table after payment. No eye-contact or whatever was done after. An obvious mood change. I just drove from Berlin, Switzerland, France, Spain... everyone treated me with respect but this. I tolerate a lot of miscommunication as I only practiced spanish and can't obviously know how to speak all languages in europe. But the mood change, was like none other. Thumbs down and do not go.

01/08/2024: We arrived towards evening to be able to have a good aperitif at the foot of the Barefoot Bridge. We order a couple of aperol spritzes, unfortunately they were undrinkable and I know this for a fact doing the same job. I kindly point this out to the waiter, a young reddish boy, and here comes the clue: he allows himself to take the glass and raise it in front of his face, asking me "but can't you see the color?" Excuse me?? How rude. I remained composed and politely asked him to do it again, and he reiterated "yes but look at the color!" Scandalous. I didn't want to ruin my evening, and after a dirty look on my part he brought us back the same spritzes, obviously not remade, with a paltry addition of Aperol. Terrible experience, saved in extremism by Giada's kindness, I hope she can teach her colleague good manners and how to treat customers. If not, my boy you have the wrong job!

13/08/2024: Valuterei la mia esperienza con un 10/10. Tutto è stato perfetto, a partire dallo staff, molto disponibile. La Paella era deliziosa e abbiamo anche mangiato i tonno in carpione come antipasto. Il staff ci ha detto che tutti i dolci erano fatti in casa, quindi abbiamo preso il tiramisù e un brownie che è stato servito con il gelato. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

09/08/2024: Unfortunately, thin transparent pizza is very popular on the Adriatic, and the restaurant is no exception in offering this type of pizza. The problem is that 30 seconds longer of cooking and it becomes a marble disc that is difficult to cut on the edges. We then discover that the pizza was made by a waiter because the pizza chef left his apron there that same evening and left... Prices are on average expensive.
