04/08/2025: Totally overpriced. €3 for a cover. That's for providing cutlery and plates. Even for children. The food was OK, but poor value for money. Drinks were also ridiculously expensive.

03/08/2025: The food comes out sooooooooooooo late. Even when I call the staff, they just say it'll come out. The olive oil container is so covered in oil that I don't want to touch it.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati accolti come fossimo persone di famiglia. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, pesce freschissimo. Consiglio se si vuole mangiare tipico e fare una vera esperienza alla Giudecca in un posto storico. Torneremo presto. Grazie mille a tutti voi.

19/07/2025: Eins meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Venedig (Giudecca). Leider muss man über die Jahre leider einen negativen Trend beobachten. Preise sind entschieden gestiegen und die Portionen werden immer kleiner (willkommen bei der Touristengastronomie). Schade, denn Location ist sehr individuell und schön. Mal schauen, wie oft ich hier noch aufschlagen werde.

16/08/2025: Avoid for tourists! An unacceptable and shameful experience. Tourists are clearly discriminated against, both in terms of prices and the friendliness of the staff. The waitresses are rude and disrespectful. One of them yelled at us, even insulted us, and then kicked us out of the bar simply because only 5 out of 10 had consumed a drink, and because we refused to pay for a glass of water we hadn't ordered. A real scam! Furthermore, it's impossible to pay by credit card when you're a tourist, while locals can do so without any problem. A dishonest place to avoid, which is a shame because the drinks are good but expensive and the location is very beautiful.

16/08/2025: We were with children who had gotten ice cream elsewhere on the way, which is why they didn't let us eat on their terrace. Terrible customer service.

07/07/2025: For over 14 years you could get spaghetti pomodoro as a takeaway, and now takeaway has been minimized😌What a shame.. It was great, and doesn't really bring more customers into the restaurant.

23/08/2025: We went for a drink and 4 mussels and it cost us 62 euro. The service charge is 16% but the service provided wasn't even worth 1%. We got charge for a live music without asking us our consent or informing us before we sit down! Other than that atmosphere was ok, overall bad place.

22/08/2025: Absolute scammers!! Avoid this place! My wife and I went here hoping to have a relatively cheap meal as the rest of the holiday had been quite lavish and we were trying to pull back within budget a little. So we went with the intention of only having a main meal and drink each. No starter, no dessert. I got carbonara (€18) and my wife got grilled sea bass (€32) along with drinks (Shandy & Apple Juice, including a bottle of water to share). At the end of the meal the bill came to €125!! This included the waiter adding on a 20% tip, cover charges AND…. Also adding on €8.50 for live music!!!! We were never told at the time when being seated that there would be a charge to listen to the live music. What’s worse is that the singer was terrible! My wife and I thought he was a karaoke singer from the street! DO NOT GO HERE. The food was average and they try to scam you by adding so much to the bill.

11/09/2025: Great restaurant. The pizza and the kids' dishes were very good. Only the mushrooms are canned. They could have been fresher. Unfortunately, we ate too quickly and forgot to take a photo. So, here's a cross-section of the calzone. There is currently a service charge of €2.50 per guest. There are good pasta and pizza alternatives for gluten-free guests.

06/09/2025: Terrible place, an hour to wait for the menu and then? Half an hour trying to get noticed but nothing, we left ignored by all the staff, I will never stop there again.

05/05/2025: Restaurante com garçons indianos e muito espertos, rejeitamos o couvert, eles trouxeram e cobraram, cobraram a água, pedimos o prato e eles ficaram insistindo para trocarmos os pratos por pratos maiores e mais caros, serviram acompanhamentos como se estivessem inclusos no prato, somente para aumentar o valor, pedimos um vinho e trocaram nosso vinho por um mais caro. Não recomendo!

24/03/2025: Osteria N.1 besökte jag under mitt besök i Venedig. Jag beställde en pizza. När pizzan väl kom ut fick jag intryck av att pizza bottnen var en halvfabrikat, dvs pizzabotten köpes in färdig från butik. Fyllningen var smaklös och blek. Servicen var trött, sen blev jag påtvingad en serviceavgift på 2,50€ utan att fått info om det. Hit går jag absolut inte tillbaka! Turistfälla!

On the evening of July 10, 2025, when I first arrived in Venice, I saw this place on the street and thought it looked cheap, so I sat down. Since I don't speak Italian, I could only look at the picture on the menu and ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti, which was listed as 9 euros. While eating, I didn't think the seafood was fresh at all, but I figured, for only 9 euros, I couldn't expect more. However, when I paid, I was charged 108 euros! They said the price on the menu was for 100 grams, but the plate I was given was 1000 grams, plus a 12% service charge. I blamed myself for not reading the price on the menu, but they didn't confirm the portion size when I ordered. Furthermore, if the plate of spaghetti was 500 grams, it's possible, but it definitely wasn't 1000 grams! After negotiating with two shop assistants, one offered a discount, charging me 80 euros. I said I could only pay 50 euros, and he said, "Let's call the police." But he didn't seem to call them. I asked when they would arrive, and they said it would take at least two hours. After a while, another shop assistant came over to mediate, saying they didn't want to cause any trouble. I was unfamiliar with the place and didn't want to bother with any trouble, so I just accepted my bad luck and paid 70 euros. During the negotiation, the shop assistant who took my order pretended to accidentally bump into me twice, then became aggressive and threatened to hit me. Afterwards, I checked Google Maps reviews and found out that this restaurant is notorious for its poor reputation. It’s my own fault for not checking beforehand. I also checked menus from other restaurants and found out that the average price of a seafood pasta is around 25-30 euros. I hope more people can see this post and avoid falling into such scams.

19/07/2025: Very disappointing experience. The music was extremely loud – The waiter was friendly, but that’s about the only positive thing we can say. The portions were shockingly small. One dish, labeled as a main course, was more like a tiny kids’ portion – and it cost €11. Another salad with chicken cost €12.50 and was basically a few salad leaves, 8 brown beans, 4 green olives, half a can of corn, and 8 strips of turkey. That’s it. Completely overpriced and not worth the money. We were honestly shocked. We definitely wouldn’t come back.

11/07/2025: Viajero ciego estafado — € 9 pasta convertida en € 63 Tengo discapacidad visual, y esta fue mi primera visita a una trattoria en Venecia. Desafortunadamente, fui engañado debido a mi incapacidad para ver claramente. El personal recomendó un plato de pasta, diciendo que era de € 9. Lo ordené, confiando en esa información. Pero cuando llegó el momento de pagar, el propietario me dijo que en realidad eran 9 € por 100 gramos, algo que nunca me explicaron en ningún momento. Sin pedir mi consentimiento, cocinaron 700 gramos y luego me gritaron que pagara 63€. Cuando lo dudé, el dueño amenazó con llamar a la policía, lo que me puso extremadamente ansioso y asustado. Les dije que no tenía tarjeta, solo algo de dinero en efectivo. Me presionaron hasta que les di todo el dinero que tenía para salir de allí. Como alguien ciego, confío en explicaciones verbales claras. Pero ninguno fue proporcionado. En Florencia, cuando pedí filete, mostraron claramente el peso y el precio de antemano. Aquí, se aprovecharon de mi vulnerabilidad. Adjunto una foto del plato que sirvieron. Parecía una pasta típica de marisco, no algo que debería costar 63€. Y para ser claros, los 63€ eran solo para la pasta. Las bebidas y otros artículos se cobran por separado. Esto hace que la falta de explicación previa sea aún más indignante. Más tarde, encontré otra reseña que describía exactamente la misma situación: a un cliente le dijeron que era una “pasta de mariscos”, asumió que eran 15 € como los demás y terminó cobrándole 63 € por pasta de langosta. Es evidente que este es un patrón de engaño dirigido a los turistas, especialmente a aquellos que no están familiarizados con las prácticas locales o a personas vulnerables como yo. Ni siquiera me dieron un recibo. Esto no solo fue deshonesto, sino discriminatorio. Evita este lugar. Se benefician de engañar y amenazar a los clientes vulnerables.

05/07/2025: Nous recommandons ce restaurant qui est vraiment bon! J ai mangé du foie à la Vénitienne un délice!!! Les pâtes étaient très bonne aussi et le service excellent. Merci pour ce bon moment.
