21/09/2025: After a full day of sightseeing in Venice, we stumbled upon a gem of a restaurant in the San Polo area. The location is absolutely stunning—right off one of the main canals, with gondolas and gondoliers gliding by as you dine. Our server, Tesoro, was outstanding. He walked us through the menu, highlighted the specials, and made us feel so welcome—truly the perfect host for our meal. We ordered a variety of dishes: lobster pasta, spaghetti with truffle butter, fresh salad, and two pizzas (one vegetarian and one topped with ham). Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. If you have time, definitely stay for dessert—the views make it even more special. With gondola rides starting nearby, it’s the perfect spot to soak in the charm of Venice while enjoying an excellent meal.

20/09/2025: Run away unless you don't know what to do with your money. What you pay for is not what's on the menu. Multiply by 2. We paid 70 euros for 2 glasses of wine and 2 Americanos. They added several service lines out of nowhere. Only positive point: the musician and the view.

08/09/2025: I didn't eat, but when we tried to sit down and look at the menu and Google reviews, the chefs tried to scold us, and we argued. It must be a crime to be here and not like the menu.

06/09/2025: The food was not worth the price at all. The waiters did not let us split the bill. We ordered a funghi pizza and received it at a price of prosciutto e funghi and was informed that we got EXTRA MUSHROOMS INSTEAD of the ham which we ‘resigned from’ ordering a funghi pizza. Of course we were informed that after the waiter brought the pizza. T e r r i b l e.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati accolti come fossimo persone di famiglia. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, pesce freschissimo. Consiglio se si vuole mangiare tipico e fare una vera esperienza alla Giudecca in un posto storico. Torneremo presto. Grazie mille a tutti voi.

19/07/2025: Eins meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Venedig (Giudecca). Leider muss man über die Jahre leider einen negativen Trend beobachten. Preise sind entschieden gestiegen und die Portionen werden immer kleiner (willkommen bei der Touristengastronomie). Schade, denn Location ist sehr individuell und schön. Mal schauen, wie oft ich hier noch aufschlagen werde.

05/05/2025: Restaurante com garçons indianos e muito espertos, rejeitamos o couvert, eles trouxeram e cobraram, cobraram a água, pedimos o prato e eles ficaram insistindo para trocarmos os pratos por pratos maiores e mais caros, serviram acompanhamentos como se estivessem inclusos no prato, somente para aumentar o valor, pedimos um vinho e trocaram nosso vinho por um mais caro. Não recomendo!

24/03/2025: Osteria N.1 besökte jag under mitt besök i Venedig. Jag beställde en pizza. När pizzan väl kom ut fick jag intryck av att pizza bottnen var en halvfabrikat, dvs pizzabotten köpes in färdig från butik. Fyllningen var smaklös och blek. Servicen var trött, sen blev jag påtvingad en serviceavgift på 2,50€ utan att fått info om det. Hit går jag absolut inte tillbaka! Turistfälla!

24/09/2025: Yesterday, 25 of us went for my son's birthday, with a reservation of course. The food was good. It's a shame they didn't have two bottles of Prosecco at dessert and wanted to give us a bottle we'd had at lunch, rudely telling me they'd run out because there were people at midday. What kind of response would that be? It's not my problem if you're not organized. When it came to the bill, I asked several times, and even got the receipt wrong. Once I had all the money, I was told she'd made a mistake, forgotten about the service charges, about €60 was missing, and that it was my fault for rushing her... At that time, we were the only ones there! The lady who served us was great, and I understand she was confused since she was alone, but unfortunately, I strongly advise against it!

11/09/2025: Great restaurant. The pizza and the kids' dishes were very good. Only the mushrooms are canned. They could have been fresher. Unfortunately, we ate too quickly and forgot to take a photo. So, here's a cross-section of the calzone. There is currently a service charge of €2.50 per guest. There are good pasta and pizza alternatives for gluten-free guests.

21/08/2025: Very Bad Service. 1 hour waiting. People working there are also not friendly. It was one time experience. If you have Kids, go somewhere else. This is not the right place

19/07/2025: Very disappointing experience. The music was extremely loud – The waiter was friendly, but that’s about the only positive thing we can say. The portions were shockingly small. One dish, labeled as a main course, was more like a tiny kids’ portion – and it cost €11. Another salad with chicken cost €12.50 and was basically a few salad leaves, 8 brown beans, 4 green olives, half a can of corn, and 8 strips of turkey. That’s it. Completely overpriced and not worth the money. We were honestly shocked. We definitely wouldn’t come back.

07/08/2025: [English] This is a shady place, beware! I ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti and was charged 108 euros! On the evening of July 10, 2025, when I first arrived in Venice, I saw this place on the street and thought it looked cheap, so I sat down. Since I don't speak Italian, I could only look at the picture on the menu and ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti, which was listed as 9 euros. While eating, I didn't think the seafood was fresh at all, but I figured, for only 9 euros, I couldn't expect more. However, when I paid, I was charged 108 euros! They said the price on the menu was for 100 grams, but the plate I was given was 1000 grams, plus a 12% service charge. I blamed myself for not reading the price on the menu, but they didn't confirm the portion size when I ordered. Furthermore, if the plate of spaghetti was 500 grams, it's possible, but it definitely wasn't 1000 grams! After negotiating with two shop assistants, one offered a discount, charging me 80 euros. I said I could only pay 50 euros, and he said, "Let's call the police." But he didn't seem to call them. I asked when they would arrive, and they said it would take at least two hours. After a while, another shop assistant came over to mediate, saying they didn't want to cause any trouble. 05/08/2025: Skipping breakfast, we had a family lunch there and got food poisoning from the food. The service was good but recovering for a day during the holiday is not the best.

01/08/2025: I went to eat then I asked the lady for the health card for cigarettes and she answered no a little annoyed, I tried to ask a colleague and the lady answered me again very angry that no one has the card because they don't smoke... I understand that it's stressful to do the season but there should always be a minimum of respect

12/10/2025: So if one could give negative stars, now would be the time. The only tasty thing was the wine. Otherwise, the worst food we've ever eaten. And not cheap either. The bread basket placed on the table for all of us could just as well be the leftovers from all the tables. Because whatever wasn't eaten, whether wrapped or unwrapped, was put back for the next guests and their bread baskets. That was the point where it was all over for us.

14/10/2025: The food was awful, not to mention the service. The waiter came over twice to take our order. Empty bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar were left on the table. The plate of shellfish for 25 euros looked as if it had already been eaten. The pasta was dry, with practically no sauce. We waited so long for the bill that we approached the service ourselves, and three waiters didn't know what we had ordered. I don't recommend it.

11/07/2025: Viajero ciego estafado — € 9 pasta convertida en € 63 Tengo discapacidad visual, y esta fue mi primera visita a una trattoria en Venecia. Desafortunadamente, fui engañado debido a mi incapacidad para ver claramente. El personal recomendó un plato de pasta, diciendo que era de € 9. Lo ordené, confiando en esa información. Pero cuando llegó el momento de pagar, el propietario me dijo que en realidad eran 9 € por 100 gramos, algo que nunca me explicaron en ningún momento. Sin pedir mi consentimiento, cocinaron 700 gramos y luego me gritaron que pagara 63€. Cuando lo dudé, el dueño amenazó con llamar a la policía, lo que me puso extremadamente ansioso y asustado. Les dije que no tenía tarjeta, solo algo de dinero en efectivo. Me presionaron hasta que les di todo el dinero que tenía para salir de allí. Como alguien ciego, confío en explicaciones verbales claras. Pero ninguno fue proporcionado. En Florencia, cuando pedí filete, mostraron claramente el peso y el precio de antemano. Aquí, se aprovecharon de mi vulnerabilidad. Adjunto una foto del plato que sirvieron. Parecía una pasta típica de marisco, no algo que debería costar 63€. Y para ser claros, los 63€ eran solo para la pasta. Las bebidas y otros artículos se cobran por separado. Esto hace que la falta de explicación previa sea aún más indignante. Más tarde, encontré otra reseña que describía exactamente la misma situación: a un cliente le dijeron que era una “pasta de mariscos”, asumió que eran 15 € como los demás y terminó cobrándole 63 € por pasta de langosta. Es evidente que este es un patrón de engaño dirigido a los turistas, especialmente a aquellos que no están familiarizados con las prácticas locales o a personas vulnerables como yo. Ni siquiera me dieron un recibo. Esto no solo fue deshonesto, sino discriminatorio. Evita este lugar. Se benefician de engañar y amenazar a los clientes vulnerables.

07/07/2025: Yo EVITARÍA este lugar. La comida era terrible: una ensalada marchita y una pizza con masa congelada preparada, una salsa ligera y débil y un queso gelatinoso y sin sabor. Palitos de pan servidos en fundas de plástico. El servicio fue pasable durante la comida, pero luego agregaron un cargo por cubierto a mi cuenta y luego cobraron a mi tarjeta más de lo que correspondía. Noté el cobro excesivo y el camarero me explicó que era necesario porque estaba pagando con tarjeta. Me detuve porque me hospedaré cerca de este lugar y acabo de llegar a Venecia por unos días. Este es el tipo de experiencia que te hace arrepentirte de la decisión y sentir que te están aprovechando. Hay muchos restaurantes agradables a menos de 100 metros. Seguir andando. Error absoluto.

30/08/2025: My most expensive Aperol in Italy: €13 for one drink. We only booked a table because it was on the rooftop; dinner turned out to be inside, with only drinks on the rooftop. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it; the prices are outrageous.
