17/11/2025: To be honest, the lady taking orders was really rude. She gave me a plate with a chipped tooth and rudely gestured for me to go to a table to eat. I should have read the reviews first, but I wouldn't have gone. It's a shame.

16/11/2025: Stopped by this cafe for a little rest and had a very confusing moment. While my friend was deciding what to order the brunette woman working at the bar started speaking another language to us. We assumed she didn't speak italian and my friend asked her if she speaks English to which then she started being super rude to my friend saying that we are refusing to speak Russian. She asked us where we are from, we answered Armenia and Hong Kong, and somehow she still didn't believe that we actually can't speak russian and are just refusing to speak russian to her. We can't rate the quality of the coffee accordingly as we were very taken aback by this conversation, she seemed very unstable.

21/09/2025: Slow service even with just a few people, several times I had to give up just for a coffee.

08/09/2025: 9 euros for a toasted sandwich, although good, was exaggerated! Plus, he was charging me 1 euro for the takeaway paper tray.

11/05/2025: I will verify that you are Korean. 2 Bellinis, 1 Aperol, 1 Espresso I ate 2 cicchetti and 1 croissant. It tastes good too Above all, the bathroom was very clean. Instead, it's ridiculously expensive.

29/04/2025: Very bad experience. we decided to stop at the Prebateo restaurant in Venice, but we immediately regretted it. The place was in disastrous hygienic conditions: cobwebs (with spiders) and dust everywhere, with unsafe cables above our heads - a real danger. The pizzas were obviously frozen, hard and tasteless, really disappointing. A friend of ours ordered a grilled fillet of meat: a tiny square, 5 cm by 5 cm, paid a whopping €20... an absurd price for such a ridiculous portion. To conclude, at the time of the bill there were suspicious roundings: they made us pay €2 more without any justification, inflating the figures incorrectly. Absolutely not recommended. Dirty place, mediocre food and poor honesty in prices.

30/10/2025: Hostaria Galileo offers average cuisine typical of the touristy parts of Venice, nothing special, the food won't offend, but it won't impress either. Online reviews are mixed, people either praise the place or criticize it for its quality and service. I wasn't impressed by the Pinot Grigio and for the extra €3 for a couvert and €3.50 for an espresso, I expected a bit more (this put me off more than the food itself). I would definitely recommend having lunch here if you're passing by, but if you're looking for better value for money, look for a restaurant in another part of town.

19/06/2025: Très bon restaurant avec une magnifique petite terrasse fleurie au bord d' un canal . Linguini et dorade excellents. Très bon service avec découpe du poisson à table et des prix très corrects sur cette ile très très fréquentée

16/06/2025: Good service. Many options for food. Good friendly staff and the only restaurant that offered butter with bread :) Seafood options were good. Cuttle fish wasn’t really up to the avoid. Best to avoid. The tiramisu was outstanding.. a must try.

05/09/2025: I'm giving it a 1 because it's the best. Terrible food: spaghetti with squid ink that tasted like oil. Cuttlefish was extremely salty and inedible. A bottle of still water was €6!!!!! We asked for bread to accompany our main course, but guess what, it wasn't included and we were charged €2.50 on the receipt—obviously, no one had mentioned this. Plus, there's a 12% service charge (10% VAT). I'm attaching a photo of the receipt because it's unbelievable. Speechless

26/02/2025: I'm not going to rate the quality of the food or the price because it's complicated in Venice, but the bar has some tables overlooking the canal and we were served very kindly.

21/11/2025: Two spritzes standing at the bar for €10 without even a snack. The atmosphere is messy, the staff is indifferent, and the service is unkempt. It's a shame because it's a historic bar.

10/11/2025: It's an amazing place to eat and spend a pleasant time. The pizza is truly incredible. I really enjoyed it. The terrace has a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. Amazing view of the canal.

27/04/2025: Es un lugar encantador junto al agua para cenar y ver la puesta de sol. Elegimos el restaurante por sus opciones de gluten. El camarero estaba muy bien informado y nos habló a través de las muchas opciones. Están muy acertados con los requisitos dietéticos y tienen tres tipos diferentes de mozzarella (regular, sin lactosa y vegana). El vino de la casa era muy agradable. Experiencia encantadora.

13/10/2025: A bar at the station. Coffee, drinks, and snacks at reasonable prices. I don't understand other people's complaints about the service and quality. A pleasant place to grab a bite to eat or a drink while waiting for your journey.

18/07/2025: This was a very nice restaurant! Great views and great service! The food was good! I enjoyed my spaghetti with meatballs and my chocolate cake! Make sure to have aperil spritz with your meal!

26/10/2025: I stayed for 5 days with half board. The room was decent, very old but clean. The only flaw was the bathroom without a shower. The location is excellent; if you're traveling with families, it's the perfect area, while if you're younger, there's a cheap bus service. I had a wonderful experience with the staff, especially the waiters in the dining room who served in the evening. I was served by two extremely friendly and helpful young women. I had the pleasure of engaging in several conversations and discovered that it was their first job experience. I would never have imagined this given their dedication to their work. The food was very good, served impeccably, always on time as soon as I sat down, they came straight to ask for drinks, and my orders were always correct. Although there were some mishaps, like a refrigerator that started leaking, they immediately fixed the accidental damage and served without any issues. The only flaw was the chef, who often left, all dirty and sweaty, not wearing proper work attire, and he would yell at the girls for no apparent reason. I hope to see them again next season because I'll definitely be coming!

26/10/2025: I stayed at this property called "Hotel Amalfi" for three nights. The service was exemplary only in the dining room. I interacted with all the hotel staff, but no one made me feel listened to and welcomed as a guest like the waiters. The two very young girls in the dining room are role models. They were vibrant and visibly attentive to the order of the dining room and the well-being of the guests. I was very sorry that during this stay I witnessed these two girls being reprimanded by the chef. He allowed himself to leave the kitchen in a pitiful state, smelling of onions and fried ammentecato... and yet, with a dirty apron, he decided to come out and be complimented by the guests, who were so shocked by the situation that they decided to compliment him even though they were not satisfied. The two girls were truly magnanimous human beings. They were adorned, without imperfections: harmless and beautiful; And this saved the decay of the old dining room, left over from when my grandfather went to war. My stay was respectable, but it wouldn't have been the same without these two waitresses.

24/11/2025: A well-kept and welcoming place. Simple yet excellently prepared dishes with genuine ingredients. A pleasant surprise.

03/06/2025: Nos detuvimos aquí mientras exploramos la zona cerca del Palacio Ducal y fue un placer perfecto. La tienda es encantadora y acogedora, y el helado fue uno de los mejores que tuvimos durante nuestro viaje. Cada cono fue servido generosamente, y cada sabor que probamos fue rico y cremoso. Fue una experiencia divertida para toda nuestra familia, y apreciamos especialmente lo fácil que fue navegar por el menú. Una pequeña parada genial si estás en la zona y necesitas un descanso fresco del calor.
