24/07/2024: My dear readers, I return to do a review of a place with piadina specialties. In truth I went to this place because I was intrigued by some but I say some negative reviews; I wanted to personally see if these negative reviews were true or not. For those who know me and have followed me for a long time, they know very well that when I make my reviews they are based on certain and truthful facts, not to be followed or because I am an influencer.. . but because I love eating well and spending my money intelligently. In the cities, the places specifically dedicated to this specialty are multiplying, let's remember that in Treviso the Piadineria premises have opened and I have tasted all their specialties and honestly speaking I say that their product is passable but not exceptional nor excellent... But if I want a piadina of excellent quality and price I prefer to come to this place called Al posticino. The piadinas are perfect, thin rolled dough that always combines with the filling in a balanced way. I blindly give 5 stars to this place for cleanliness, order, excellent quality food, friendly, very kind staff, very professional and attentive in recommending their best specialties; as regards the price, it is a fair and equitable price, you spend more in Piadineria and McDonald's if you don't choose the standard menus and choose individual products This is why when you go to a restaurant and look at the menu it is advisable to order the specialty that the restaurant offers without modifying or making any changes in order to be able to give a fair and equitable opinion both in a negative and positive sense. When you go to the Piadineria, can you ask for changes or additions to the product? You choose what is offered...so even when you go to eat sushi they offer their product considering it a specialty. And I would like to point out that piadina is not a pizza, they have two different doughs, different leavening even if they may seem like two identical products. When we go to eat in Indian, Brazilian, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican places and there is a menu made up of local specialties we taste their food without asking for any modifications or additions, if ever those who are allergic to some products choose based on their own state of health and those who have never eaten some products in their life choose others. So I invite you to reflect on why when you go to an Italian restaurant you always try to request changes to a menu with its specialties based on a careful investigation of market in which it is noted that trends in the food sector are rapidly and continuously evolving; They influence the palate and tastes of the customers who become more and more attentive, curious and demanding. It is not a moral that I am making but an invitation to this reflection. Therefore I strongly advise you to go to this place and taste all their piadinas, I did it and you I can assure you that your palate will be fully satisfied and don't listen to those negative reviews that can influence your mind but make sure yourself personally as I did. My favorite piadinas of the whole menu are the one with soppressa gorgonzola olive pate or the one with mortadella, pecorino cream, olive and pistachio pate but there is a piadina that wowed me made up of various cured meats and fig mustard. Authentic food, great fish dishes, superb pasta, and a to-die-for tiramisu and Meringata cake. It is to be tried if you visit the area or even for a nice family lunch or dinner. WOW

27/08/2024: Don't ask me to be objective and rigorous in this review. When you are in love you are never objective. Well yes, I fell in love with Montelliana ever since this business opened in 1990. At the time, in addition to the indisputable goodness of the product that was served to me at the table, the charm of the competitive prices was irresistible. Over time, the business has evolved with the contribution of new energy that the dynamic and enterprising descendants have guaranteed. Prices have more or less aligned but... you can't do without Montelliana. The owner has been creating, sweating and interpreting his menu in front of his own wood-fired oven for over 30 years, with results of extraordinary inemulability (don't look for the lemma that is not recorded in the dictionaries, just coined at the table...) In fact, this evening, even though it was out of the way, I decided to eat here. Unfortunately these days it happens to me more rarely, living in another province and now also another region. But when I'm in the area, a stop is always a must. The owner recognizes me from the order he receives at the bakery: Pizza Fantasia. The menu records it with the ingredients of spicy salami, anchovies, capers and flaked parmesan cheese on a Margherita basis, but only those who lived through the first years of the pizzeria can know that the old menu also included eggs... so the owner he recognizes me. Indeed, today for the occasion in addition to the egg, I also added sausage, so as not to miss anything. Northern style pizza, shallow and well cooked. As a native of Campania, I can affirm that it is another world, equally respectable, compared to the classic and renowned Neapolitan pizza. Generous in size, almost like a beaten pizza and richly seasoned if not overflowing with excellent quality ingredients and tasty goodness. Ideal for my taste, the accompaniment with a fresh and aromatic Löwenbräu red beer. For me it is undoubtedly the best pizza in the world. But I have already declared myself... I am in love with Montelliana!...

12/08/2024: Nice little Eselalpe on Pizzoc. Went there very early by bike and got a cappuccino and an apple strudel that were very tasty. Nice people and a cool location.

05/08/2024: Truly beautiful experience! The food is genuine and of high quality, I recommend the dumplings... exceptional! Helpful and kind staff. The restaurant has about ten seats inside, but there are covered tables outside. You will also find a wide choice of digestives!

01/08/2024: Pleasant, well-kept environment, friendly staff, refined and well-presented food. 2 notes: when they asked us for drinks, we didn't have a menu, so instead of taking glasses of wine we thought that taking a bottle would cost us less, in my opinion for bottles over 20 euros it would be right to bring a menu, because in the we later saw the bill was 30, but at that point it could have been any price. The €3.50 cover charge for the area seems out of line to me, given that there wasn't a selection of bread of various flavors or anything more to justify the price, okay details. We arrived to hear the band who started playing at 10.10pm, a little late. The desserts all cost 6 euros (a chocolate salami cannot cost as much as a tart which is more laborious) I would say that overall it was nice but prices need to be reviewed because with 39 euros each, 2 of us ate a plate of ravioli/gnocchi, 2 mozzarella in carrozza and 1 bottle of wine. These are notes that may perhaps be useful for improvement.

07/08/2024: A small charming, romantic hotel in a pretty town. Quiet oasis with a beautiful garden and an outdoor pool with great views. Because of its location in an historic small place, driving to and from the hotel is somewhat difficult. The breakfast can be better with more vegetable options.

17/06/2024: I came to celebrate the baptism of the son of one of my nieces. Wonderful experience, very kind staff, excellent dinner service. The environment and the garden are well looked after. Fabulous view. I would definitely recommend it to some friends who have a ceremony to celebrate. Mirco Tamiazzo

26/06/2024: Ristorante consigliato da altri ristoratori. Cena con amici. Bella location, nascosta nel cuore di Treviso. Locale un po' retrò nella presenza, ma proprio per questo affascinante. Personale professionale, gentile e solerte. Nel suo complesso il rapporto qualità/prezzo l'ho trovato bilanciato. I piatti consumati, buoni, ma non eccezionali. L'impiattamento adeguato. L'apparecchiatura elegante nella sua essenzialità. Ci tornerò sicuramente per confermare la mia prima impressione con la speranza di migliorarla.
