20/04/2026: We arrived at the last minute. No reservations. The place was packed for Sunday lunch.
Not only did they find us a table, but we were looked after with great attention, as if we were the only customers.
The meatballs were spectacular!
A great discovery.
We'll definitely be back.
19/04/2026: Service a little slow, but the place was full, so understandable, if I have to mention any flaws the only one is that it is very noisy and to speak you have to raise your voice, a big applause for the meat, really delicious as it is difficult to find, well done everyone

19/02/2026: Warm atmosphere, spacious rooms, quiet. Good food, prompt service.
03/02/2026: We went there for dinner with two children. Everything was excellent, even the recommended off-menu dishes. The children's menu (pasta with ragù or tomato sauce) arrived before ours, as requested. I highly recommend this restaurant. I feel sorry for the other customers who had to put up with our UNCONTROLLED children. Clean environment, excellent service, varied menu, and very kind and friendly staff.

11/03/2026: We were lucky enough to find Osteria Castagner on a Sunday for lunch, but we arrived a little late, around 2 pm, and they kindly let us sit at the table. To my great surprise, the menu included homemade gnocchi and tagliatelle, grilled chicken, the beloved late-season Treviso radicchio, and other very interesting appetizers. The atmosphere is simple but clean and well-kept, the staff are professional, attentive, and kind, and the food is authentic and very good. We had a cream of leek soup and gnocchi with ragù, both excellent, and then two grilled chicken legs with grilled Treviso radicchio and beans with Tropea onion, all washed down with a good extra brut prosecco. The food was excellent, the portions were decidedly generous, and the wine was just right. The price was very fair. Recommended. Well done!

05/03/2026: What can I say? This place left me speechless! Timeless! I felt like I was reliving my great-grandmothers' Venetian homes.
A place with HUGE potential, yet under-exploited. Coffee costs one euro, anyway. It was thrilling to enter such a characteristic place.
Owners, please do your best to restore the former splendor of this 20th-century hotel; you have a place with great potential.
In the meantime, I'll continue to come to you for the coffee, which is also good.

14/08/2023: Di passaggio da Maser mi sono imbattuto x caso in questo ristorante a gestione familiare. È stata una scoperta di grande piacere: piatti curati con passione e gusto x la buona cucina che si rifà alla tradizione locale, seguendo le stagioni, ingredienti selezionati con estrema cura e rispetto x la natura! Un ristorante da provare di nuovo molto presto!

21/04/2025: Scelto perché a due passi da Villa Barbaro che avevamo intenzione di visitare, siamo rimasti delusi dal servizio normalmente cordiale che si trova nelle osterie con cucina tipica-casalinga;
scarsissima attenzione per i bimbi, abbiamo ordinato una semplice pasta al pomodoro ed è arrivata una pasta lessata su era stata versata una passata di pomodoro (immagino direttamente dal barattolo) su una parte di essa, pagata 8 euro; buona la carne a prezzi contenuti.

moderne, propre, très bon accueil, belle assiette de charcuterie et fromages, petit choix de plats copieux.
c'est la "cantine" d'un certain nombre d'Italiens.
