02/05/2026: Osteria Borgoluce is a refined restaurant on the hills above Susegana. Borgoluce is also the name of the eponymous farm that produces wine and other products, seemingly minimizing waste. Their every activity is part of a virtuous cycle that is important to me because I am a responsible biologist as well as a foodie. They produce honest food and wine among fields and lush woods, optimizing livestock and crops. Emanuela, the restaurant manager, welcomed us very graciously with two glasses of the farm's own sparkling wine. We sat at a cool outdoor table with the sun setting over the woods. Dinner then began in the beautiful building, in a private and elegant room. For dinner, we opted for two glasses of the house's sparkling rosé. The trio of chicken, meatballs, saor, and chicken liver pie on crostini was excellent. The fried mozzarella was also well prepared. The fried veal with vegetables was delicious. The suckling pig was special. The sorbets were artisanal, original, and unconventional. So, kudos to the chef and his assistants. We're grateful to the company for the taste in every sense.

10/04/2026: Yes! I loved it so much that I turned back another time too. Also I recommended to my relatives,I even organised a romantic dinner for my closest as like a gift. Atmosphere is insane so calm beautiful inside and outside too. Peaceful. Food is really delicious of course, try the burgers! Outside you can visit their animals. Buffalos are so cute and delicious. 🙂 Perfect example to “farm to table “. The staff is young and kind but prepared and helpful and last but not least funny! Kind of nice experience! I recommend to everyone! They speaks English too!

06/04/2026: The setting is simple, surrounded by greenery, the staff are friendly, and the products are good quality. The only problem we encountered was that for a focaccia the size of a slice of cake, the price was €17.00... it would have been fair only if the quantity had been AT LEAST DOUBLE! The price was unjustified for the quantity offered in a single place.

11/04/2026: Excellent restaurant with friendly staff. Meat is their forte, and they have some very hard-to-find meats (zebra and kangaroo). I'll definitely be back.

02/04/2026: Going to Carlo isn't just a dinner, it's an experience... for a few hours, you forget everything. His friendliness and hospitality make you feel at home. We've been regulars for years, and as soon as we have a free evening, we rush to him. His menu is SPECTACULAR... and it tells his story perfectly... made of love and passion for his work. I also organized my son's baptism lunch and a company dinner with him. He organized both impeccably. 5 stars because 10 isn't expected.

30/01/2026: Found by chance, but worth a stop if you're in the area. We ate very well (compliments to the chef), and the service was superb; we were served by two very talented and beautiful girls.

29/12/2025: I'd like to start by saying I'm sorry to write a negative review for a place where the service and friendliness were remarkable. But everything else... Another premise is that we came to this place based on the photos on their website, which showcased local specialties and fish. The menu we found this evening had completely different, standard dishes, with some clumsy attempts at gourmetization, and prices that weren't high but were definitely high for the quality offered. Spending €105 for four people to eat food that, in our opinion, was more in line with a €12 set lunch menu is objectively not a good thing. Even at the end of the meal, it wasn't clear to us whether they wanted to position themselves as bars, quick lunch restaurants in an industrial area, or gourmet restaurants with prices that were moderate but certainly not low.

26/03/2026: A typical Venetian osteria, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, rich in antique details, very good food, and friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback, perhaps, is that there's no parking (there's a small parking lot just a minute's walk away).

22/03/2026: After paying a visit to Collalto wineshop, you can't miss near by osteria. Good value for money. Giovanni hosted us as his best guests next to the fireplace. Romantic atmosphere, typical fresh food and great wine.
