27/07/2026: Two of us went for dinner on Sunday with my girlfriend. The location was very romantic and well-positioned, with a lake view.
One of the waiters (the kind one) showed us to our tables, but the table was for one person, as one of us had neither cutlery nor a glass. They quickly corrected the mistake by setting the table for the second person.
We ordered two portions of seafood fantasia: very good and plentiful, except that the smoked salmon wasn't fresh (it was spoiled). We pointed this out to the waiter (the grumpiest one, which justifies the single star for service), who replied that this wasn't possible and that the entire restaurant had consumed it without complaint.
Then we ordered the first course (tagliatelle with swordfish, cherry tomatoes, and pecorino) specifying "without pecorino." The dish arrived WITH the pecorino, and the flavor dominated everything else.
The second course (squid on a bed of vegetables with soy sauce) was burnt.
The grilled vegetables on the side were burnt and bland.
The chicory (second side dish) tasted like nothing.
The final bill, given the amount served, was excessive.

29/04/2026: A small shopping center in the lower Padua area where you can find everything you need. The stores inside are mainly chain stores: Tosano supermarkets, Unieuro, Orofino, Bata shoes, OVS, Tigotà, general clothing, hairdressers, phone shops, and many others. Many of the spaces, however, have their shutters closed. The interior offers spacious, ample aisles and two bars in the center, perfect for breakfast, evening aperitifs, or even just an afternoon chat (since the noise, when it's crowded, isn't a nuisance). The common areas are well-cleaned and sanitized. It has a large parking lot and is located along the old regional road 10 Este-Montagnana, with the Santa Margherita d'Adige highway exit just 2 km away. I've seen children's birthday parties organized, so I imagine the management also offers this type of activity. It's a shame that the construction of the extension of a new wing, which has been at a standstill for years, sadly gives it a touch of abandonment.
21/04/2026: Today, April 21, 2026, the undersigned was waiting for his turn to drink a coffee at the Tosano Megliadino Iper bar. There were 2 people waiting for my turn. Ten minutes passed and I was still waiting for my turn. The owner or bar assistant said, "Let's have a manager from the Tosano supermarket come by because she had something to do." When the manager at other times sits on the stools for a nice coffee break.

15/08/2026: Lorenzia, the owner, is a very kind person who makes you feel at home. The cuisine is simple but beautifully executed; many restaurateurs in tourist cities should follow her example. Prices are ridiculously low. Hats off!

28/07/2025: Prenotato all ultimo,il personale cortese ci ha preparato il tavolo all esterno. Antipasto misto di salumi molto buoni accompagnati da verdure polenta e una torta salata. Immancabili le polpette con polentina. Primi nella norma e prezzo molto buono

15/03/2025: Io e la mia compagna siamo clienti da 30 anni , da quando 2 anni fa , hanno cambiato tutto facendo self service , non ci siamo proprio , stamattina x un po di vino ho aspettato 40 minuti finché sono andato via ,titolare enrico mi ha fatto pagare i due bicchieri di vino senza chiedere le scuse, da sconsigliare proprio ...
16/02/2025: questo posto e' al pari di una sagra paesana. tutti ammassati al bsnco per il ritiro del vassoio col pasto scelto. primo piatto esaurito in fretta per cui bidognava attendeee 10 minuti minimo. spazio angusto vivino al banco per poter fare una fila decente. confusione totale. menu semplice e poco curato. si salva solo la porchetta. da non ripetere

23/02/2025: Bella location!!non posso dire altrettanto del cibo! Pappardelle al ragu di cinghiale che sapevano di selvatico(malessere di stomaco x me e la mia compagna il gg seguente)... Tagliata da sufficenza risicata! Cantucci sciapi! Il tutto per 70 €.... Spesi molto malvolentieri
06/02/2025: L'Oste Toscano, cucina toscana. Invece no. Cioè, solo un po'. Va benissimo il menu non particolarmente ampio, ma come si fa a inserire accanto ai pici i venetissimi bigoli all'anatra (che mangio ovunque) e, nei dolci, oltre agli ovvi cantucci (non freschissimi), lo strudel (tipico dell'Alto Adige) e il tiramisù (universale ma trevigiano e comunque non tipico toscano)?
Se vado in un ristorante di cucina toscana mi aspetto quanto meno una ribollita o una banalissima panzanella. La cucina toscana è talmente ricca e varia che non dovrebbe essere un problema riempire un menu di 3-4 opzioni a portata. Oppure proponi un menu TUTTO toscano e uno alternativo, e lì se vuoi mettici dentro anche il riso alla cantonese.
Per il resto va detto che il locale è carino e accogliente (le sedie un po' scomode, ma vanno sopportate solo per un paio d'ore, ovvìa...), la qualità dei piatti è buona, i tempi del servizio più che accettabili, i prezzi più o meno anche. Con un po' di toscanità in più sarebbe tutto perfetto.

13/10/2024: Stopped here THREE times while travelling on the area. Food was fresh and delicious. Got breakfast "brioche", coffee, snacks for our travel, and plates of cookies as gifts for people we were visiting. Everything was wonderful-- especially the coffees-- and service was friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
