12/10/2025: We're served bottled tap water, treated with the Culligan system, at the "modest" price of €3.20! The bottle is clearly dirty inside. We ask for sealed bottled water and are told they only have that type of water. This alone would deserve a lower rating. The veranda overlooking the lake has a central iron band that effectively blocks the view. The male staff isn't friendly, and a few more smiles wouldn't hurt. The pizza (Neapolitan style) is good, and the food, overall, is good (which is what matters!).

13/10/2025: Food was very unique but not tasty at all. I can’t think of a single dish I really enjoyed and a lot of it was plain unpleasant. The venue was beautiful. No one offered us a drinks list and the sommelier who was meant to come over never did so we didn’t get drinks. They make you tell them two courses in advance if you want to use the toilet which is overkill in my opinion.

13/10/2025: The only question to ask yourself before eating at Venissa is: am I ready? Venissa isn't a culinary experience, but much more. Before beginning the tasting experience, you need to understand and appreciate the restaurant's concept: respect for local cuisine, respect for the local area, and for raw materials in all their forms, the use of uncommon ingredients, and the ability to see beyond. That said, Venissa offers two tasting experiences that change frequently depending on what the local area has to offer at any given time. The cuisine is primarily fish and vegetable-based. Homemade produce is the estate's strong point. The ingredients aren't necessarily high-quality, but they're treated with respect and creativity, minimizing waste. The staff is young and highly trained, each capable of engaging you emotionally in the experience. The beverage pairings are highly refined, and the evolution of the food is emphasized by the diverse products offered, not just wine but also drinks, kombucha, beer, cider, and more. An elegant location that reflects the concept of respect for materials and nature, everything in harmony, nothing left to chance. We will never stop thanking you for the wonderful experience. 20/09/2025: Unfortunately it was closed, but we'll be back. The view is fantastic, and the owners, Raffaella and Vincenzo, are incredibly sweet. A must-see if you go to Auronzo. After 3 years, we finally managed to come. Vincenzo's dishes are delicious and very generous. 😅 Raffaella is very attentive to the service, which is impeccable! 18/09/2025: The prices are spectacular for a place like this, the owner is very friendly, and most importantly, they allow dogs. The food is very good, and the beer selection is also spectacular. We recommend it 100%.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

10/10/2025: We had a very good meal here—not for the first time. Grilled trout and Fritzi the Mare. It was reasonably priced.

12/09/2025: Stopped in our first full day in Padua. Service was very friendly and willing to answer questions. We weren't super hungry so we just had salads and a lasagna. Greens were fresh and the basalmic was perfect! The place doesn't look like much from the outside but worth a stop!

01/10/2025: Huge place for kids, no receipt (and who said you didn't get a receipt? The idea was that it was a place for kids, but not the receipt (i.e., expensive for the food/ambience-price ratio). Around us, there were only tables full of kids, who were also toasting noisily).

19/03/2025: My girls and I were there for the first time. We went for gelato, which was delicious, by the way. The ambiance was a mix of modernity, antiquity, and creativity. Everything was meticulously thought out. We were served by a very kind and professional gentleman. What was a real treat and a pleasant surprise for me was that my gelato came with a little cookie on top, unlike my girls' gelato. This reminded me that we are also special and important, and that every now and then we should remember or be reminded of that! Grazie mille! We'll be back soon!!!

20/10/2025: Luckily, in Vicenza's beautiful historic center, there's this small, quaint restaurant that defies standardization by offering some of the most iconic traditional dishes, in addition to the beloved cicchetti. All accompanied by a thoughtful selection of wines. I later learned that this place is not just about tradition, but also about inclusiveness—the real kind, not the kind just for publicity. Go there, it's like visiting a friend's house.

07/10/2025: Small restaurant with a local menu, excellent cuisine, generous portions, fast service, even with explanations if requested.

07/11/2025: Everything was delicious! The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and scallops were delicious, and the desserts were also top-notch.

04/11/2025: The place is always welcoming and busy, synonymous with good food...I haven't been here in years, and you're always a confirmation. The wait staff is excellent, friendly, and always smiling. Finding a pizzeria packed on a Monday is so good...well done.

26/08/2025: We had dinner curious to try the place, since we've been frequenting Pellestrina for a while. The place is charming, with tables on the quayside for a generous €5 cover charge. The fried peoci appetizer was very good, the mixed raw ham was good but nothing special, and the scampi and vodka parcels were cold and nothing special, with the scampi still in their guts. The fish pie was cold and full of sand. For €60, I honestly won't go back; I woke up hungry. A bitter drink was offered, and the staff were friendly.

08/10/2025: I went for dinner on Saturday evening, a place chosen by cousins ​​who live nearby. It was truly fantastic! The decor makes everything feel warm and the dishes are exquisite, with particular praise for their signature dish: the boiled meat with pearà, which they offer from October to April. A trolley full of cuts, all accompanied by puree and pearà. The house wines are also excellent! If you want to fully enjoy the boiled meat, I recommend not ordering other dishes first. A truly wonderful discovery! Excellent value for money.

30/09/2025: A very beautiful, vintage atmosphere, with pots hanging from the wooden ceiling, a wood-burning stove with copper pipes, and many antiques. The specialty is boiled meat with the famous Verona pearà, without detracting from the excellent first and second courses of meat. A wide selection of wines. Prices are reasonable for the quality.
