10/10/2025: I returned to a place dear to me, even though I can't be a regular, and I was treated so badly, so much so that I'm bothering to leave a comment. I discovered La Rivetta many years ago and it became a "must" stop, so I returned this time too to introduce it to my friends. I certainly don't need any flattery or fawning, but the rudeness with which I was advised to "take a walk" by pointing to the exit, just for asking about cicchetti that I didn't see in the window at 11:30, really struck me. The characteristics of the managers cannot transcend correctness and politeness. The local color is fine, but the kind innkeeper should take care of the hard-boiled eggs for which he is famous; perhaps it will help him. I will continue without what I no longer remember as a lovely, typically Venetian atmosphere.

10/10/2025: This place makes me want to come back to Venice! A regular named Andrea provided us with delicious eggs and wine, and both the owner and the regulars were so warm. It was nice to experience this local atmosphere.

26/09/2025: The Spritz was excellent, finally not watered down or filled with ice like so often happens in touristy places. The fritto misto was delicious, and the tartare was equally good. The staff were friendly and the prices were fair. We'll definitely be back!

27/06/2025: I only stopped for a coffee, but I think I'll be back for the food too. I really liked how it was decorated and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

24/06/2025: Nice and rustic atmosphere. Great for aperitifs, great food, good cicchetti, various and very good aperitifs. I recommend it both as a couple and in the company of friends.

17/08/2025: Excellent food. The best pasta we had in Italy. Light, tender, and flavorful. We ordered gnocchi, lasagna, and ragù with polenta. I just wish the pasta portion was a little bigger. The staff was attentive, and the waitress was friendly and fun.

21/07/2025: Friendly staff and very good food. I had the pasta with ragù, grilled polenta with sausage, French fries and the lemon dessert which were delicious!

18/08/2025: Highly recommended. A great place, and the food was also delicious. I especially liked the waitress (I assume she's also the owner). I'd go back anytime.

26/06/2025: An inconspicuous place, on the main road. The restaurant is probably run by a married couple, where the owners are very nice to their customers. The pizza itself is simply delicious, where the choice in it is quite wide. It is worth stopping for it when you have a free moment.

19/10/2025: Last night's dinner at the restaurant and pizzeria was a huge disappointment. Pizzas made with lactose-free milk dough—I wonder where the pizza chef learned his craft. The pre-cooked mixed grill arrived cold, not to mention the lackluster service, disappointing music, and a lot of confusion.

20/07/2025: Not a positive review at all. We booked Wednesday afternoon for a night between Saturday and Sunday. We arrived Saturday morning around 11:00 and were told to come back in the afternoon because the room wasn't ready. We returned in the afternoon after 4:00 and were told they had no rooms available, so they redirected us to a nearby B&B where we found a modest room with a shared bathroom. Thank you and congratulations for the helpfulness of the B&B managers, but at the Hotel Giglio Rosso there was no excuse for what happened. It was absolutely unacceptable in this day and age, and above all, the rude staff turned their backs on us and walked away when we complained about it, and on top of that, they wanted to charge us the full rate...absolutely unacceptable and disgusting handling of the problem. ABSOLUTELY NEGATIVE REVIEW

18/10/2025: €9 for a club sandwich with pizza dough. What really pissed me off was seeing pre-cut slices presented, but with no option to take anything other than a whole tray...we're travelers who take lots of small portions. The taste is good, but not 5-star.

31/03/2025: The sandwiches are excellent! It's a bar located a bit away from the tourist areas. I recommend it for lunch if you're passing through.
