14/01/2026: We happened to be passing by on our way back from vacation and, looking for a gluten-free restaurant, we stumbled upon this beautiful place. In addition to the beautifully decorated interior, the gluten-free options are truly varied and thoughtful. Although it's not AIC certified, we found much more information and attention to detail than other certified restaurants. The gluten-free dishes are also excellent. The owner and staff are very kind and welcoming. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

17/02/2026: During a quick visit to the beautiful city of Padua, this restaurant located along the river was recommended to us. The restaurant is well-decorated, with a beautiful window overlooking the river. The restrooms were spotless, despite our late reservation. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the service was a bit slow, but we had lunch the day after Valentine's Day, after a busy evening, so this review isn't indicative of the standard. As for the food, our choices met our expectations. Prices are clearly highlighted on the menu. The portions are reasonable, not overly generous, but sufficient for a decent meal. We ordered two appetizers for four of us to share: Venetian-style chicken in saor (photo 1) and pizzaiola-style fried burrata (photo 2), both excellent. The chicken was truly delicate and tasty, and the burrata was beautifully fried. For the main course: two braised beef dishes on soft polenta (photo 3), a sliced ​​beef (photo 4), and a sausage and cabbage pie with Morlacco cheese (photo 5), the latter actually found among the first courses. All the choices met our expectations: the braised beef was incredibly tender. To top it off, two tiramisu del nonno and some cream-filled biscuits. Total cost with bread, service charge, and four bottles of water: €157.50.

The deliberate reference to the area's history is evident and appreciated when you look at the walls, adorned with beautiful black-and-white photographs of San Donà. The small space offers a wealth of items, demonstrating the owners' generosity and dedication to customer satisfaction. Fine local wines, now rare, such as the sparkling Rabosetto, are served. The welcoming, family atmosphere is evidently the reason why people are still sitting at the table with their lunch dishes at 5 p.m. The ladies at the bar are friendly. Drinks are very reasonably priced.

21/11/2025: There were six of us there for dinner, three couples. It's a shame it was dinner because I think the location offers a truly beautiful view. The atmosphere is refined, the service attentive and not pushy. The menu has the right number of meat and fish dishes (maybe vegetarian too, I don't remember). The price was in line with the dishes. It was the first time, but it won't be the last. Well done!!!!
