02/07/2026: Excellent food and service!! Please Go!! I had their specialty strascinati pasta and the amazing, outstanding 5-star chicken (so tender inside and crispy outside). Plus the herring was delicate and delicious - and beautifully presented. The owners and daughter are so sweet, friendly and kind English speakers. So it was so enjoyable and I loved every moment. I will returning on my next visit to Assisi soon!
12/06/2026: We stayed two nights at the hotel, and while the location is fantastic and the room was very nice, we believe the air conditioning should be individually controlled. The shower is very narrow and fixed, making it quite inconvenient when you only want to wash your body without washing your hair. Furthermore, the breakfast is rather meager, consisting only of juice, coffee with milk, and a small assortment of cakes and pastries. In short, the luxurious room doesn't match the quality of the other amenities.

13/08/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant almost by chance, what a pleasant surprise.
The first courses were delicious and very generous, excellent value for money. The mushroom lasagna was unforgettable. And the owners were very friendly. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.

17/08/2026: A classic osteria with rustic tables and checked tablecloths. A must-try, especially if you're a couple, is the trio of fettuccine to sample the best of Umbrian cuisine. The Norcina is delicious, and the cured meats are excellent. The all-female staff is always available and helpful.

Impeccable service, a perfect room with all the comforts.
I would definitely return in the future.
02/05/2026: I've been going there for years now, and I have to say it maintains a good level of cleanliness and organization. So I continue to recommend it. The restaurant staff are the strong point; I personally always eat at Il Roseto, and I can only praise them for their friendliness and professionalism. Congratulations.

14/08/2026: Highly recommended. The menu features sophisticated dishes that are always rooted in tradition, using high-quality, local ingredients (from Terzone buffalo mozzarella to Nera trout). Attentive and friendly service, and a fair value. A set menu with traditional dishes is also available. The staff told us the menu changes seasonally, so we'll definitely be back to try other dishes!
08/08/2026: Good-quality ingredients, well-executed first courses, but not always adequate in quantity (the plate of ravioli, exactly two ravioli, was a bit small for me). Prices are reasonable for the area and the busy tourist season. Electronic payment is accepted.

25/01/2026: I visited this small yet deeply meaningful place, run with passion and dedication by owners in their seventies who represent a rare example of commitment and love for their work.
I enjoyed handmade tagliatelle served with a meat ragù of extraordinary quality, so delicious that it is truly hard to put into words.
I give the highest rating because I strongly believe that places like this deserve to be supported and preserved. I especially appreciated the fact that it is the only place open in Cascia, serving both local residents and the many pilgrims who visit the town.

07/10/2025: Went there on a sunday. The lady is very nice and welcoming, i guess it is a familt place
They have a variety of pizzas pasta and local desserts
We ordered the proscuitta and another one with trufffles and we had a small simple salad
It is veryyy very delicious and the pizza dough is very unique
Very fair price . Recommended when in Cascia
And they have a nice outdoor seating on the street

15/05/2026: We stayed at Casale di Ginetto, a beautiful property, in complete relaxation, very good sweet breakfast, shame there is no savory one too. Their restaurant is really very good, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, friendly and kind staff.

Traditional cuisine with a contemporary twist, featuring locally sourced ingredients to create delicious dishes that respect tradition. The excellent wine list showcases the rich local tradition alongside top national labels. The desserts are delicious, although the portions are a bit on the small side.

16/08/2026: After 26 years, we returned to this place partly because we were looking for it and partly by chance. As in the past, we were impressed by the quality of the food, the kindness of the staff, and the cleanliness.
Prices are absolutely in line with the quality of the dishes.
We'll definitely be back!

22/06/2025: Posto incantevole, con vista mozzafiato sulla campagna! Si mangia davvero benissimo, prodotti di qualità di produzione locale. Si gode di un ambiente semplice, genuino, conviviale. Si può visitare la bellissima galleria d'arte dell'artista di casa, davvero una sorpresa! Abbiamo comprato il farro e altri prodotti della casa acquistabili nel piccolo shop.
L'amore e la cura che questa famiglia offre ai propri ospiti è davvero qualcosa che ci farà ritornare sicuramente! Lo stra consiglio!
20/06/2025: Ogni volta che passiamo da Santa Rita, immancabile una visita con cena dai nostri oramai amici Fiorella, Roberto e Diego. Il posto è incantevole e i piatti sono semplici e gustosi solo come mani esperte sanno preparare, secondo ricette antiche e con ingredienti top, a km zero. È' proprio un piacere gastronomico come pure una esperienza estetica piacevole e rasserenante. TOP!!
