18/08/2024: I was really impressed by the Il Tipico restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But the strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine. In this place you will have the opportunity to taste typical traditional products with 0 km ingredients. Last night I tasted the "Gnocchi alla Nostra Maniera" dish and it was an explosion of flavours. A delicious dessert to be enjoyed with a spoon was the finishing touch of a delicious dinner. Highly recommended!!!
17/08/2024: Spectacular. Excellent food, delicious aromas. Friendly and punctual service. Quick and friendly service. For being in the centre, it is almost strange to find so much goodness at the right price. Well done.

15/08/2024: I only had dinner and all the dishes were prepared with extreme care and with quality products typical of the area. Excellent service and friendliness, all family run. A wonderful surprise that happened by chance. But it will no longer be a coincidence to go back.

20/08/2024: Siamo stati a fare in gita in questa fattoria a conduzione familiare con la bambina, pranzo ottimo con cibi km 0 di qualità ben cucinati, possibilità di acquistare dall’orto e dalla vendita diretta. Bellissima esperienza. Accolti con gentilezza, carina la fattoria peri bimbi. Sicuramente torneremo.

21/07/2024: We went last night for dinner with the family.
Rather simple, sober, essential environment.
Excellent service, quick even though the place was almost full. Furthermore, there were five of us without a reservation.
Excellent food: in particular tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, gricia and tagliolini with red wild boar ragù. Not having ordered second courses, we went straight to dessert: chocolate caprese with sprinkles of Nutella, hazelnut paste and coca. Really very good.
The only flaw: the lasagna. They were lukewarm when they arrived and overcooked. We had advised against ordering them to the person who took them, based on the consideration that it is better to order local dishes, which in Umbria generally (we have been to various Umbrian places over the years and have always eaten very well, but looking for local dishes) are very good.
The Il Grottino restaurant, therefore, is recommended to those passing through Cascia.
21/07/2024: Unico, imbattibile. Abbiamo mangiato strabene. Lo staff è preparatissimo in materia e appassionato. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Consiglio vivamente una sosta culinaria in questo ristorante. Bravi bravi e ancora bravi!

06/08/2024: Ottima struttura ricettiva, molto pulita e accogliente, gli addetti alla colazione e cena molto disponibili e gentili pronti ad esaudire le richieste dei clienti. Peccato che se fa caldo le camera non sono forniti di condizionatori ma ci è stato riferito che solo da 2 anni fa questo caldo e provvederanno a installare i climatizzatori...anche se la seconda sera con tutte le finestre aperte abbiamo dormito benissimo...ottimo cibo, forse le porzioni un pochino più abbondanti non sarebbe male...colazione con torte fresche e buonissime...aggiungerei qualcosa di salato...esperienza da ripetere

07/08/2024: So, I give this rating 4/5 because despite the comfort, the location etc. I find the ad a little misleading given the photos that the hotel offers. We expect a small, intimate, cute hotel and in fact not at all! It's a HUGE hotel with around 160 rooms, with different aisles, different buildings, endless corridors, elevators that go to certain floors but then you have to take something else to go to another wing of the hotel etc.
I've never seen such a big hotel, especially in such a sparsely populated area, with such complexity to find your way around haha (really a very strange layout lol). Finding your room is quite a challenge!
It really feels a bit like a factory hotel.
We took 2 standard triple rooms (for the family) and we weren't even together or close, we were on different floors, in different wings of the hotel, not very convenient. They were also not as modern as the photos showed, so a little disappointed nonetheless (there was no air conditioning either, but we were already aware of that from the various comments).
Apart from that, the bedding is comfortable, clean and it was quiet. The location is nice, especially near the hotel entrance, with the basilica right next to it as well as very cute alleys. The breakfast is also very nice, in a large room (like the hotel haha).

25/08/2024: Very clean and fresh environment in the historic center of Cascia, fast and kind service and good food. I ate the best snails in Porchetta I have ever eaten, spicy at the right point. Starter of cold cuts and cheeses, very plentiful, the grilled lamb is also very tender, prices in the range average I personally would go back even just for the snails..

Ci siamo sentiti coccolati al punto da fare anche la cena del giorno dopo prima della nostra partenza da Cascia.

31/07/2024: In 8 years we spontaneously tried to visit the Patrizia several times, but it was always fully booked. We were lucky on a return trip in July 24th, were there for 3 days and absolutely loved it.
30/07/2024: We stayed at this hotel for the first time in March. The hotel is actually highly recommended, especially the employees do a great job. We felt very comfortable. When, after a few days, we expressed to the owner that we wanted to leave a day earlier because the weather was really bad, the friendliness suddenly seemed to disappear. When checking out in the presence of the owner there was a rather unpleasant atmosphere, which we didn't understand? After all, we paid the full price without using any of it. We thought that was a shame, we would definitely have come back….

06/08/2024: Small, pleasant, family-run “restaurant” bar, quite simple but with very friendly service. However, for the prices (here) we found the value for money to be quite poor, the food seemed homemade but in terms of taste it was quite simple, it didn't match the prices. The salad, very very simple and quite small for €8.50, too expensive for what it was, and pizzas at 7-8 euros which tasted quite good but which did not have the taste and the traditional "head" of a pizza (they were also smaller than normal). It's convenient for eating a little something in the area in Cascia, but not for a "restaurant" type meal.
23/07/2024: A pleasant and simple place on a quiet and typical square, very close to the Tourist Office. Everything we ate was homemade, from the dishes to the dessert (zuppa inglese), tasty, melting and creamy, made by the nonna.
The ladies who welcomed and served us were smiling and helpful, despite the late hour at which we arrived at the restaurant.

Agriturismo Valle Tezze

26/07/2024: Che dire......una permanenza di 5 giorni in questo bellissimo agriturismo con una vista mozzafiato dove regna la pace. Stefania (meravigliosa) e il suo staff ci hanno coccolato con la loro simpatia e con il buonissimo cibo a km 0 (impossibile scegliere il piatto migliore 🤤). Molto pulito e tenuto bene. Siamo stati talmente bene che, alla fine del soggiorno, le lacrime non sono mancate. Grazie Stefania per la bella esperienza..... Giuseppe, Teresa, Linda e Silvia.

30/12/2023: I would like to leave a review in the most correct and polite way to express my disappointment, but I have to do a quick chronology of the facts. On 10/11/23 I made a reservation at HOTEL LA REGGIA for 4 people for the days 31/12/23 - 2/1/24 including the end-of-year evening and the SPA trip the following day with the related overnight stays in a double room with dinner and breakfast and I sent a bank transfer for the relevant deposit of €478.40 against which my reservation was confirmed. On 26/12/23 I telephoned the property asking NOT FOR A REFUND OF THE DEPOSIT as I knew I would not being within the 8 days foreseen for this request, but being unable to go due to a strong state of flu, my request was to be able to move the 2 days booked to any other period at the discretion of the hotel management. Two days later I was contacted by telephone and was told that no solution was possible.
Now, my aforementioned disappointment.........I ask myself: how can a complex like this rated 4/5 stars with 3 hotels equipped with swimming pools, gyms, wellness centres, gourmet restaurants, private car parks and so on not find a solution to a problem that I believe unfortunately arises for many in this period?
I end my review here, but I want to point out that the disappointment remains and with that also a lot of disappointment towards decisions that certainly do not enhance professionalism
