06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant on Saturday evening based on the reviews. The experience far exceeded our expectations. The place has a lot of character, and the choice of furnishings and certain small details reflect and characterize the taste and choices of this place. You can't help but be impressed by the small touches that undoubtedly define the experience. We ate some first courses and traditional local food. In particular, the tortelloni with creamed asparagus turned out to be a very good dish, where the different ingredients helped to enhance the flavors. The beef fillet was truly amazing. The wine was excellent, and the service was very discreet and attentive. Everything was characterized by extreme simplicity. The owners of this restaurant welcomed us with utmost simplicity and attention, proving that sometimes, to offer a high-quality experience, you don't need to emphasize certain aspects of the service. It was a wonderful experience, and I believe it was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.

06/11/2025: I stayed there for one night with a pilgrimage group. I'm surprised by the positive reviews. The only positive is the central location. The rooms are old with worn-out mattresses. The elevator is small and single, so for a large group, it took a while to get to your room. Were the rooms clean? They were soaked in chlorine so much they stank, resulting in ruined, discolored clothes in the bathroom. The food was poor quality, served by the staff angrily, as if they were being punished for their work. Most people in our group, upon opening the window, saw a wall of cinder blocks. Not a good experience for me. I wouldn't recommend it.
01/11/2025: I stayed one night, the location is excellent but the rooms are very old, broken floors, ruined walls with water stains, shower stall doesn't close properly and all the water comes out, in short it needs fixing, unfortunately there is not even soundproofing in the rooms you can hear everything that happens in the corridor and in the next room.

13/10/2025: We had dinner two nights ago. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was homey and quaint. We ended the meal with desserts served with pistachio, a mild but simply fantastic liqueur. It's a casual place, but definitely highly recommended.
11/09/2025: Beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, and very welcoming hosts. It was a pleasant evening thanks to this combination.
Definitely worth returning!

07/10/2025: Went there on a sunday. The lady is very nice and welcoming, i guess it is a familt place
They have a variety of pizzas pasta and local desserts
We ordered the proscuitta and another one with trufffles and we had a small simple salad
It is veryyy very delicious and the pizza dough is very unique
Very fair price . Recommended when in Cascia
And they have a nice outdoor seating on the street

The food and service are fantastic; everything is just right here. This hotel has been a favorite with me since I was a child, and now, as parents, we feel the same enthusiasm in our children: They want to return immediately!
You can tell you're welcome here, even as a child. The location is top-notch and a great starting point for many things to do in the region or in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
The staff is extremely well-trained and a motivated part of this successful concept.
A place that creates memories and connects generations. 💫

Excellent meals with typical home-style cuisine, high-quality ingredients and well-prepared. The Scoglio Rosa hotel restaurant is our go-to place every time we come to Cascia for a visit to the Sanctuary of Santa Rita.
Close to the Sanctuary, adjacent parking (free for guests), friendly and pleasant atmosphere, meticulously clean, home-style cuisine, always excellent, using traditional Umbrian products, unique flavors from carefully prepared cuisine, a welcoming bar, comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean throughout, all the staff are extremely kind and grateful, and it's a family-run business that makes you feel like you're staying with relatives or friends.
It's the ideal place for a stay in Cascia.

06/10/2025: I had lunch with my daughter. They made it a real experience: top-quality ingredients expertly prepared, and the staff was courteous, helpful, and very professional. The prices were absolutely fair, in line with what they offer. I highly recommend it.

The starters were good, but not very hot. The meat was excellent.

01/08/2025: I went to eat here yesterday with my family.
Politeness and kindness, they just don't know what it means.
I wanted to order a type of pasta listed on the menu, but it wasn't there, and the same for dessert. Then I ordered panna cotta with berries, and it arrived with a black cherry topping and two strawberries on top, without being told that the berries weren't there, and they did their thing.
I asked for the bathroom, politely of course, and the answer was: (If they haven't moved it, it's still there) and finally, the POS didn't work, which was the icing on the cake.
The only good thing was the water.
The goal of a business is to attract and entice customers, and instead, it was the opposite.
NEVER AGAIN, FOR GOODNESS.
TERRIBLE SERVICE, THEY TOOK US A LONG TIME TO DO IT.
And let's not even get into the jokes they made about what we'd ordered.
We're still in a country where everyone is free to choose what they want, and then everyone should be treated equally.
And if you have stomach problems, it's not your problem.
IF YOU CLOSE, IT'S BETTER!

22/06/2025: Posto incantevole, con vista mozzafiato sulla campagna! Si mangia davvero benissimo, prodotti di qualità di produzione locale. Si gode di un ambiente semplice, genuino, conviviale. Si può visitare la bellissima galleria d'arte dell'artista di casa, davvero una sorpresa! Abbiamo comprato il farro e altri prodotti della casa acquistabili nel piccolo shop.
L'amore e la cura che questa famiglia offre ai propri ospiti è davvero qualcosa che ci farà ritornare sicuramente! Lo stra consiglio!
20/06/2025: Ogni volta che passiamo da Santa Rita, immancabile una visita con cena dai nostri oramai amici Fiorella, Roberto e Diego. Il posto è incantevole e i piatti sono semplici e gustosi solo come mani esperte sanno preparare, secondo ricette antiche e con ingredienti top, a km zero. È' proprio un piacere gastronomico come pure una esperienza estetica piacevole e rasserenante. TOP!!
