The property is nestled in a peaceful and relaxing setting, ideal for those who want to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Umbrian villages. The staff was always kind, helpful, and professional. The cuisine was truly exquisite, with dishes crafted with attention to detail and rich in flavor. It was a very pleasant four days; we hope to return soon.

13/05/2026: After almost a year, we returned to Cascia, and of course we couldn't miss our favorite restaurant. As always, the food was plentiful and excellent, and the staff was kind, helpful, and empathetic. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: Terrible place, poor quality cured meats, mixed roast with raw chicken and lamb, warm beer, frozen and reheated baked potatoes, inedible, we sent more than half of the food back, given the positive reviews we went there and honestly I have serious doubts

07/05/2026: Yesterday we visited Il Grottino da Orlando for the first time and immediately understood why it's considered the quintessential traditional trattoria in Cascia. Authentic Umbrian cuisine and truly competitive prices. We'd tried it several times before, but it was always fully booked: this time we booked, and it was worth it. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, family-run since the late 19th century, and this sense of continuity is clearly evident. We ate well and spent our money wisely, which is far from a given. Special praise for the owners' friendliness: between courses, a spontaneous conversation about cinema sparked, making the evening even more enjoyable and different from usual. Il Grottino also has the potential—if it were to explore this path—to become a destination not only for lovers of good food, but also for fans of good cinema. If you're passing through Cascia, it's a must-see.

03/05/2026: I left Brindisi to come here on May 1st and stayed until today, Sunday, May 3rd. Impeccable service, a perfect room with all the comforts. I would definitely return in the future.
