09/04/2026: The bathrooms were super clean, the coffee could be improved. It might have happened that this time the coffee was a little burnt, but usually it doesn't go wrong. The service is acceptable, not bad.

16/03/2026: Horrific restaurant. Not at ALL advertised truthfully. Came in thinking it was a decent sit down restaurant, instead came in to find a stack of very nasty looking paninis/obviously frozen pizzas, some clearly very old lasagna, and some other random dishes. Ordered fish and chips, a personal favorite, and the first thing I saw was the server MICROWAVE it. Then, I tried the food and I’m not lying when I say they probably serve better food in prisons. There was not an ounce of seasoning or sauce on my fish and chips. The fish was horribly slimy and the chips probably tasted worse than eating a raw potato. Not to mention, they just played music videos with highly inappropriate images the entire time, a nasty action, especially considering there were children all around the store. Worst restaurant I have eaten at in Italy thus far.

13/03/2026: A restaurant at the foot of the Basilica of Saint Francis with a youthful and welcoming atmosphere. A varied menu, including delicious pizzas and burgers. The Ventaglio is a must-try. The truffle strangozzi is also worth a try.

07/04/2026: I've been frequenting Alla Collina Pistoiese for a while now, and it remains a firm favourite. The cuisine strikes a truly successful balance between tradition and innovation: authentic, recognizable dishes, yet always lightened and intelligently revisited, without ever losing their identity. The quality of the ingredients is evident, as is the constant care taken in preparation. The ambience is one of its strengths: a perfect balance between a refined trattoria and a high-end restaurant, with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. It's also very well attended, which contributes to the elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere. The service is always top-notch: efficient, attentive, and with that spontaneous warmth that puts you at ease without being intrusive. A reliable restaurant, where you eat well in a relaxed atmosphere that has never disappointed over time.

08/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, strolling through the narrow streets of Spello. It was an excellent choice for lunch! The owner, despite being incredibly busy given the packed restaurant, was incredibly kind. The food was excellent! And the place was very, very cute and welcoming!

07/03/2026: We called 10 days in advance and made a reservation for Saturday night. They assured us they'd have an a la carte menu and music. We arrived, but there was no a la carte menu or DJ. We were forced to order a meter-long pizza because they didn't do plated pizzas. The pizza arrived, and the cutting board was covered in mold and flaking. We reported the inconvenience they'd caused us; the owner was practically standing behind us and didn't even dare apologize! Terrible experience, definitely not recommended.

07/03/2026: We booked well in advance; we were told there would be music and that the menu was à la carte. Instead, there was no music and only pizza to eat. And the pizza was on a moldy cutting board. We were fooled.

08/03/2026: The rooms are in a farmhouse style, basic but with beautiful views. The spa, although not open in high season, could be better maintained, especially the outdoor areas. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good.

04/04/2026: My husband and I went a few months ago on someone's recommendation. I don't know if we had the wrong night, but we can certainly say it's the worst place we've ever been to, absolutely. The menu includes spaghetti with various sauces, tagliatelle with ragù, and penne all'arrabbiata. They arrive overcooked and sticky, four at a time. There are no main courses on the menu. We ask the waitress, who says there aren't any?!? We ask for truffle crostini and other things I can't remember. They hand us a large slice of that oval bread you buy at Lidl in a plastic bag, cut into six pieces, smeared with awful sauces so thin they barely cover the bread in some places. The finishing touch? While my husband waits to pay at the register, I ask for a coffee. They serve it to me by passing the cup and saucer over the head of another customer in line. A unique experience, that's for sure.

02/01/2026: My daughter went to this facility, "if you can call it that," for New Year's Eve. The kids were housed in a tent in the cold—I should point out that at 8:30 pm it was -2.5 degrees Celsius, I don't dare think of any later—warmed by a small heater, and with cockroaches and spiders in the bathroom.

24/09/2025: We only tried the restaurant; we didn't stay. The food was good, nothing exceptional. The only downside was that everything was cold, and the appetizers were cold, including the fried flowers. The pasta arrived cold, and so did the meat. It's inexplicable, considering there were only five of us and a couple. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the lake, and free parking.

01/01/2026: Good food, top-notch service, a welcoming but chilly atmosphere (from the cold). Unfortunately, lunch wasn't at all peaceful; in fact, it was downright annoying, as the door to the dining room (which led outside, where it was about 2°C) was left wide open by almost all the waitresses. Even though every time they passed, whether entering or leaving, I got up to close it and asked them to do the same, there was no way we could eat without freezing or having to run after them to close the door. Between my partner and I, we got up to close it dozens of times. But the thing that bothered us most was something else: when we got to the cashier to pay, we asked if everything was okay. When we mentioned the problem, we were told that since the kitchens are outside, it's normal for the door to be open to get through. After clarifying that it wasn't the crowds that were bothering us, but the fact that the door was left wide open all the time, we weren't offered any apologies; in fact, the girl at the register seemed almost annoyed by our observation. A word of advice: if you really want to eat here when it's cold outside, make sure you stay well away from the front door.

22/03/2026: I stayed here with my family for one night. I'm giving it two stars only because of the beautiful facility. We may have been unlucky, but the night we arrived, the breakfast room (below our room) had been rented out to outsiders for a birthday party. There was a lot of noise, tables and chairs were being moved, and children ran up to the rooms, knocking on our guests' doors. This went on until 1 a.m., and the owner was not supervising them. We'll draw a veil over the breakfast. I don't understand the 10/10 reviews for the abundant breakfast. Breakfast is served from 8 to 9 a.m., and you come down at 8:35 to find empty plates with leftovers from other guests, without refilling. The selection was very limited, except for an empty tart plate, an empty chocolate bundt cake plate, and two other plates with leftover slices of fruit bundt cake. Half-empty juice jugs, one yogurt, and industrial-strength biscuits packaged in sachets. That's the selection. It's a shame because the structure could offer more.

09/12/2025: We suffered from the cold, we couldn't even take a shower in the bathroom, the breakfast was terrible, everything was pre-packaged, even the juices from the supermarket and there was nothing local, a farmhouse should serve something from the area.
