I migliori ristoranti di cucina italiana in Umbria

03/01/2025: Era la prima volta che ci recavamo a Trevi, un piccolo paese aggrappato ad una collina umbra, una bomboniera. Si era fatta ora di pranzo e cercavamo un posto dove potere mangiare, quindi consulto come sempre TripAdvisor e scegliamo una trattoria ma che non ci può dare ospitalità per via della saturazione dei posti. Stiamo per uscire dal locale e una persona che ha assistito al tutto ci consiglia altre 3 trattorie e quindi io e Lucia decidiamo di recarci alla Taverna del Sette. Intanto la location, ben celata e intrigante per la presenza della pietra e del vetro in perfetta armonia con la presenza del legno. Entriamo e veniamo accolti da una giovane signora sorridente e che ci offre immediatamente un tavolo. Il cameriere che ci accompagna è molto professionale e alquanto gentile. La sala è illuminata in modo soft ma efficace con predominanza dell’effetto caldo, pareti e tetti sono in pietra e tavoli e mobili in legno colore avorio con un gusto retrò. Ci viene offerto un bicchiere di bollicine e un benvenuto dello chef con focaccia farcita con olive. La carta dei vini è molto curata come lo è anche il menù che spazia da piatti locali regionali tradizionali a quelli extra regionali. Ma il pezzo forte sono le carni cotte alla brace in forza anche della presenza all’interno della sala di un grande camino utilizzato per la cottura di diverse tipologie di carni. Il tiraggio di questo camino è a dir poco eccezionale in considerazione che non era presente né all’ingresso né all’uscita alcun odore. Scegliamo un antipasto della tradizione altoatesina, lo strudel con speck, radicchio e con una base di fonduta di formaggio. Ottimo. Quindi, la mia Lucia ordina un primo piatto, strangozzi con carciofi, pomodori, guanciale e pecorino mentre io opto per un secondo di misto di carni alla brace e cime di rapa ripassate. Una goduria sia il piatto di Lucia che il mio. Prendiamo il caffè e quindi chiediamo il conto. La signora, sempre sorridente e accogliente ci dà un conto che ci sorprende per la estrema onestà. Beh, a quel punto il cerchio si chiude e io e la mia Lucia concordiamo che sia giusto recensire questo locale al fine di farlo conoscere ad altre persone.

10/12/2024: Il locale è molto pulito, bello e curato. I proprietari ci hanno messo a nostro agio ed hanno soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza. La cucina è molto raffinata, il servizio è stato ottimale ed il personale molto professionale. I nostri ospiti hanno gradito e ci hanno ricoperti di complimenti. Il festeggiamento del nostro matrimonio è riuscito in pieno.

23/04/2025: Sono stata con i miei genitori, abbiamo preso 3 primi in modo da assaggiarne un po' ciascuno e le porzioni non erano abbondanti, mentre i secondi si! Comunque rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo e i piatti favolosi, si vede e si sente che c'è molta cura dietro ed era tutto buonissimo. Locale molto carino e personale gentile.

14/04/2025: Ristorante molto carino, camerieri accoglienti e sempre disponibile. I cocktails proposti sono assolutamente da provare. In toto, si mangia bene ma si beve ancora meglio!

02/07/2025: An experience to forget. 97 euros for 2 people, 2 starters, 1 first course and a second course with a bottle of red wine. Starters Char carbonaretti (local) open and full of bones. The service replies that they remove the bones by scraping them with a knife but sometimes they remain!!!!!! We left the plates almost full, silence on the other side...we had to get up to get the dressing ourselves. Oil: bottles of Monini!!! Tagliatelle with truffles without infamy and without praise. Sliced ​​meat, they do not ask for it to be cooked. In short, we had the impression of a place that has nothing more to say, that continues thanks to its location and that in another place would already be closed.

30/11/2024: Sono stata a cena con colleghi in questo posto. Il cibo può dirsi nella media non c’è stato nulla che abbia esaltato il gusto di nessuno di noi. Al di là degli antipasti che sono tipici ma non unici fette di prosciutto crudo locale, uova strapazzate con tartufo (?) e paté di fegatini, il secondo che è stato spacciato come un filetto alla brace era veramente duro quasi da non riuscire a tagliarlo con il coltello da bistecca. Ma la cosa più deludente è stata che una cena in cui abbiamo mangiato sostanzialmente un antipasto e un secondo con quattro bottiglie di vino in 12 persone è costata 55 € a testa. Ritengo il prezzo veramente eccessivo per la qualità del cibo che è stato proposto.

15/06/2025: The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of Spoleto, but it is an oasis of tranquility. The swimming pool surrounded by greenery, with a slope of olive trees framing it, is undoubtedly the strong point of the entire structure. The veranda intended for breakfast is very particular and appreciated, with large windows and stations similar to those of a vintage train. The breakfast is quite varied and genuine. As for the restaurant next door, where we had dinner, the quality is average (neither infamy nor praise) and the prices are decidedly reasonable, so the evaluation is positive. The staff is always courteous, the atmosphere is almost homely and informal. Albergo La Macchia is the right place if you are looking for a place to escape from everyday city life and find refuge from stress.

02/06/2025: We happened upon Osteria del Fondaco by chance, without a reservation, during a visit to Narni. The place immediately struck us with its essential and refined style, welcoming in its simplicity. We started with Il Cartoccio, perfect for sharing: a rich and tasty mix with Umbrian supplì, arancini (one speck and radicchio, the other cacio e pepe), eggplant meatballs and stuffed courgette flower. Generous portions and authentic flavours. Among the first courses, the tortelli stuffed with Chianina beef with saffron cream (requested without truffle) were delicate but decisive, a perfect balance. For the second course, the eggplant and courgette tower parmigiana with burrata and basil chlorophyll was a very pleasant surprise, also ideal for those looking for vegetarian options. We ended in style with a taste of tiramisu and a seasonal fruit platter with dark chocolate ganache: freshness and deliciousness in one dish. Everything was really excellent. A place to come back to. Ps: we didn't take wine

02/06/2025: Great experience and dinner in the center of Narni during the Corsa all'Anello festival, a renovated and newly managed restaurant (this is what the very nice guys explained to us), we ate truffle for two (very good scrambled and sliced ​​that melted in the mouth) and drank a red Montefalco on the advice. Excellent prices for how we ate, we will return on other occasions... recommended!

24/05/2025: Abbiamo preso due pizze da asporto, putroppo erano abbastanza bruciate soprattutto sotto, non si può mangiare una pizza così, un peccato perché l'impasto e il condimento sembravano buoni.
