12/10/2025: At the top of the "Porta Orvietana" elevator, this osteria invites you to a moment of refreshment... even for the soul. The carefully selected dishes reflect the authentic flavors of Umbrian tradition. The porchetta pork, the tagliolini with truffles, and the tiramisu with a crunchy surprise are excellent. The welcoming atmosphere, typical of an osteria, is further enhanced by a selection of background music that surprised and moved us. Thanks to the guys who carry on this business with such care and passion...which is much more than just a "job."

03/10/2025: Beautifully located restaurant on the way between the Upper Town cable car station and Piazza del Popolo. Interestingly, the restaurant has three areas: outside, then the attached winter garden; and finally, the lovely interior. The restroom was clean, nothing to complain about. We got a table right away (we came spontaneously and didn't make a reservation!). The service was friendly, and the food arrived within a reasonable time (we definitely didn't wait too long). I had the pasta with truffles: it was very tasty, although I prefer it when the truffles are mixed directly into the olive oil and completely mixed with the pasta, as is the case at the "Sagra della Ciriola" in Coppe (a district of the municipality of Stroncone). Nevertheless, the pasta was very creamy...and the truffles were mainly grated "on top" of the pasta. The "Saltimbocca umbra" was simply a dream: the meat was very tender. You could especially taste the sage (I think it was sage) in the meat, as well as the wine. And the sauce was mainly a mixture of olive oil and white wine, which is inevitable. Fried potatoes were served with it. I think the photo speaks volumes: super crispy and very tasty. I quite like the typical unsalted bread. The espresso was good, of course. There were three of us there...hence the photos of their appetizers and main courses. Among other things, the cannelloni were delicious: a good "bite" with a slightly burnt outer layer and a soft interior. The red sauce and the cheese tasted wonderful. Todi itself is a little gem. Very convenient: a cogwheel train goes directly from the parking lot up to the panoramic square, from where you can get a great view of Todi...as well as down into the valley. The cable car is free, by the way. It essentially works like an elevator: you can press the button at any time...and the train takes off. Parking does cost a bit, but the prices are quite reasonable. In any case, I can highly recommend the restaurant for its food and service, especially since the price-performance ratio is definitely reasonable. I hope this restaurant will stay with us for a long time.

24/08/2025: Five stars because I can't give more! I went to this restaurant for five days straight during my vacation and had a great time! Very fair prices, generous portions, and everything was delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful, always smiling. The place is very cute and welcoming, with the option of eating outside. Highly recommended, I'd go back in a heartbeat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

08/09/2025: Very good Neapolitan pizza (one of my favorites in the Perugia area) in a somewhat chaotic environment especially when full.

06/09/2025: Hospitality, friendliness, and quality. Found it somewhat by chance, we stopped for pizza. Everything was excellent. The pan pizza was superb! Not to mention, dogs are welcome.

24/08/2025: The absolute best: come here to enjoy delicious, expertly crafted traditional Sicilian sweets. The almond biscuits are exquisite. The arancini are delicious. Thank God for this little corner of Sicily in Foligno and for the talented people who prepare these delicacies. They use the highest quality ingredients and techniques that demonstrate their mastery. We'll keep coming back for more :)

28/08/2025: My goodness, I enjoyed this place. I'm from the south, it reminds me a lot of my grandmother, who unfortunately is no longer with us. I moved to Tervenano 4 months ago and once a week I eat hamburgers here, they are top-notch, they seem to be in LA (in America).

07/12/2025: We were there tonight for dinner, and I must say the food was very good... but the price was ridiculous, the owner told me: 25 euros for adults, a fixed price. We also ordered two plates of penne for the children. I went to ask for the bill and it said 90. I pointed out that we only ordered two penne for the children. He said, "So what?"... We didn't even drink the wine, but that doesn't matter. If it's a fixed price, 25 euros for adults, it's not a problem... But paying 40 euros for two penne is like I'm at Cracco's.

25/11/2025: I ordered some takeout pizzas. The service was excellent, and they were ready in 10 minutes even though we called a little late. Very good.

15/11/2025: We took a stroll around the town center and then stopped for lunch, and we enjoyed the food, which was delicious and well-prepared. For those who like truffles, there are several dishes with white and black truffles... we tried them, they were excellent.

21/10/2025: Delicious food, friendly staff. Highly recommended if you're near Pietralunga. The tiramisu is also very tasty.

30/11/2025: We ate a very good paella...which I hadn't even eaten in Spain....sangria was equally good and the service was very attentive and courteous...pleasant atmosphere, definitely worth repeating.

05/10/2025: Excellent appetizers, good paella with fish and vegetables, fabulous dessert... we'll be back!

16/10/2025: August 2025. We ordered the house menu several days in advance, so we had the flexibility to plan ahead. The quality of the dishes was acceptable, with good home-style cooking, although I would have appreciated more than four, not particularly large, ravioli on the plate. The problem was the incredibly long service; perhaps they overbooked, but arriving at 1:00 PM and leaving at 4:30 PM for two starters and a barbecue was unnerving. A Sunday afternoon ruined. Not a single apology, as if everything were normal.

07/10/2025: Very nice hotel, friendly service, and delicious breakfasts. Very atmospheric and peaceful. I recommend it :)

01/12/2025: Gino, the owner, cook, and often waiter, does everything himself, even the morning grocery shopping for the restaurant. Excellent, authentic, and unpretentious, typical Perugian home cooking. It's popular with locals and tourists, but it's not a tourist magnet. In summer, you can eat outside in the open-air space in front of the entrance. Recently, it's only open for lunch; for dinner, reservations are required, and probably only for groups.

28/08/2025: This small restaurant, just steps from the center of Perugia, offers traditional dishes with simple, yet flavorful, cuisine. We had a great time. Recommended

23/11/2025: Small trattoria. Excellent food. Generous portions. The local cured meats appetizer is special. Next time, I'll have to try the contrabandiere one. Today, polenta with mushrooms and spare ribs, and ricotta and spinach crepes. Then, grilled sausages, and to finish, a delicate and exquisite black cherry tiramisu. Definitely worth returning!
