19/09/2025: Excellent hospitality, courtesy and kindness abound, and the owner is very professional and friendly. The menu offers a wide selection of meat and fish, as well as local specialties. The waiters are attentive to the customer's needs and very kind and polite. We will gladly return.

18/08/2025: The food was average, a bit pricey for a slice of beef with a side of buttered spinach, and you could drink a can of Fanta. Total €29. The exterior needs a bit of a facelift, and perhaps the interior is full of cobwebs.

There were two of us, and we ordered an appetizer, two first courses, a second course with a side dish, coffee, and two glasses of wine. €73 seemed fair, considering the second course was a fillet steak.

At Passo di Giano, we were captivated by authentic cuisine, showcasing the flavors of lake fish with skill and passion. We began with a rich assortment of lake appetizers, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, which alone were worth the visit: delicate yet bold flavors, thoughtful pairings, and top-quality ingredients. The highlight of the lunch was a spectacular mixed lake grill, with perfectly cooked and flavorful fish, followed by two memorable dishes: eel in white wine, tender and intense, and grilled carp, surprisingly tasty and served impeccably cooked. To accompany everything, an excellent local wine, carefully chosen and perfect for enhancing each course. To finish on a sweet note, a simply delicious caramel panna cotta: creamy, velvety, and with an aromatic caramel that won everyone over. The service was warm and attentive, with friendly and helpful staff who were able to offer excellent advice. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a quiet lunch, with a view of the lake that makes everything even more special. 27/08/2025: Beautiful and spacious restaurant with a large veranda. Given the reviews, I was hoping for a wonderful culinary evening, so I ordered the house appetizer, which, instead of a typical dish, consisted of various canned goods. The waiters, though well-intentioned, were rushing around the restaurant, looking nothing but utter confusion. I felt like I was watching an episode of "Kitchen Nightmares." I just hope I'd just had a bad night.

25/08/2025: A huge location spread across several interconnected rooms, with plenty of seating and ample parking. Good service and friendly, helpful staff. Very good cuisine, obviously traditional, complemented by an extensive menu featuring excellent grilled products; generous portions. Prices are average for the area, perhaps slightly more modest. A more than good value.

13/10/2025: I've been staying at Monte Veletta for a few years now. It's the perfect place: you sleep well, it's clean, beautiful, and Signora Luigia's cooking is exceptional. Michela, her daughter, waits tables and makes the desserts. Breakfasts are plentiful, with Michela's cakes. It's a family-run establishment: I recommend trying the lentil soup, which comes directly from the land of Signor Ottavio, the head of the family.

27/07/2025: We chose this hotel for its location and cuisine. What more can we say? It's all been confirmed: a wonderful view of the Pian Grande (lentil fields and pristine mountains) and simple cuisine that showcases local produce. It's located on a wonderful road for us motorcyclists. The guys who run the hotel are passionate about it. Zoe is the real queen!

14/07/2025: A nice tennis club, a nice clubhouse and a nice atmosphere, nice and very quiet golf course, very nice courses, they could be kept a little better, I found crooked lines and a lack of earth in some parts, the net in my opinion was not the right size even though I played a fit tournament, for the rest, nice changing rooms, nice atmosphere and nice people
