14/08/2026: We had lunch here after a hike. The service was quick and friendly, and the dishes we ordered were good. Overall, a positive experience. I didn't give a higher rating for the food, including the drinks, because we felt it was really excessive to pay €5 for a bottle of still tap water. I understand the service and the possible water filtering, but this price is more than bottled mineral water.

24/08/2026: Update: Three years have passed since we first visited, and nothing has changed. The food and service are still top-notch, and the wine list is to die for. We have visited twice this week and would happily go back again if we weren’t leaving Alta Badia tomorrow. Original review: Great views, beautiful terrace. The best steak I have ever had in Europe, hands down. The best pommes frites I have had just about anywhere. Excellent wine list. Highly recommended.

24/08/2026: Practically a Michelin-starred restaurant—and that's not a compliment—parachuted into the midst of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Dolomites. 14,000 wines, a bevy of young waiters in uniform, cocktails, service worthy of a luxury establishment, and couples dressed in the latest fashions, comfortably arrived by cable car after a short, almost horizontal stretch. Not a trace of true mountaineers or hikers. The contrast with what, at least for me, should represent a mountain refuge is almost surreal. More than a refuge in Alta Badia, it seems like a place designed for those who don't want to give up the atmosphere of Milan or Rome, even at 2,000 meters. Even the coffee at the counter, at €2.20, consistently contributes to the experience. Move everything to the center of Milan and I'd happily give it 5 stars. Here, surrounded by the Dolomites, unfortunately not.

22/03/2026: This was our second stay at Ustaria Posta, and we felt very comfortable again. The value for money is excellent, and the whole family takes such good care of you. The half-board with its four-course menu is simply outstanding. While there's no spa, you're treated with great warmth and Ladin tradition. The ski area in Alta Badia is also absolutely fantastic, so we will definitely be back. Thank you!

19/08/2026: Elegance and friendliness galore. The only downside is the Milanese cutlet, which I strongly advise against. I was up all night because of the oil used and the excessive breading that covered all the hidden fat in the steak, causing heartburn. This review is based solely on my experience with that dish.

25/07/2026: Drawn by the excellent reviews, we try this farm. From a scenic standpoint, everything is great: views of the Dolomites, cows, a traditional wooden structure, kind and smiling waiters in traditional dress, beautiful and perfectly presented dishes. Excellent, truly excellent. Regarding taste and flavor... I've been coming and eating in Trentino-Alto Adige for years, but I haven't tasted the flavor of the mountains, the pastures, the stables. I've eaten much better around here, even at the markets. For a total of 52 euros per person... I've never spent so much in my life, but we knew that in advance. I don't know if it's a tactic against overtourism, this absurd price tag, but overall it's absolutely not worth it. Many thanks to all the staff, very kind and friendly. P.S. To the kind reviewers: the rip-offs following good reviews are becoming more and more frequent... What are we going to do, write the truth or tell jokes? Sincerely,

22/03/2026: Amazing place, step outside and you're on the slopes. The hotel has been renovated and is modern, with rooms, showers, and beds that make you want to stay put. The food is excellent; half-board includes breakfast, dinner, and a buffet snack from 4 to 6 pm in front of the bar. There's a heated pool with a powerful lateral hydromassage. The pool is about 15 meters long, which is enough for a few laps. Outside, there's a super hydromassage tub. There's also a gym with some equipment for those like me who never give up, even on vacation. Many types of massages are available, worth trying, at average prices.

14/03/2026: We spent a fabulous week at Hotel Lech da Sompunt. What we loved: super kind and helpful staff, great breakfast, cleanliness everywhere (rooms, lobby, dining spaces, spa), hotel location, spa was exceptional! Ski-in & out is an option indeed, but it is complicated to reach the main slopes. What could be improved is the parking area which was completely muddy. Overall, thank you very much, it was a lovely experience alltogether!

18/08/2026: An incredible experience, breathtaking views, and a visit to the reserve with deer and other animals. A children's play area and convenient transport links just a few meters away. Enjoy a relaxing aperitif.

16/08/2026: Nice place to relax and have a drink/eat something, equipped with children's games and deckchairs, there is a park with deer nearby and from here you can quickly reach the small but delightful Lake Sompunt... I do not recommend continuing to the other lake further up, Lech Lunch, however, slippery, long path with slippery ups and downs, disappointing arrival, a small pond!

05/08/2026: It was a terrible experience. I ordered pork ribs, and they were terrible quality, with small pieces of foil and small bones in the meat. The manager didn't apologize, saying it was our problem: "Take out the pieces of foil and eat them." We asked to cancel the dish, but they said, "That's not how it works." The food was tasteless, the spices were inappropriate and incongruous, it didn't look freshly prepared, the potatoes were simply reheated (they were clearly made yesterday or the day before) and dry. There was no apology. After some discussion, the dish was removed from our bill.

01/08/2026: The ambiance was great, the pizzas were delicious, but the service was average. We told the waitress we needed a few more minutes, and she replied, accompanied by a stern look, "I'm just here to ask if you'd like a drink..." Then no one came for another 20 minutes. The wine list was very limited. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but it's okay if you just want something to eat after a strenuous day of sports. The pizzas were alright.
