20/09/2025: The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The price/performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. The location is very nice.

13/08/2025: Nice location, but unfortunately, that was about it. We had to wait forever for the waiter to take our order after asking. The two fruit spritzers and two iced coffees were okay, but not particularly large. €36+ for that is outrageous!

04/09/2025: We booked the hotel including half board (dinner & breakfast) for one night on a motorcycle tour in early September 2025 for €186, and I can and will only express my opinion and feelings here. From the outside, the hotel doesn't look bad at all, and for the stated 3 stars, it initially made a good, appropriate impression. The hotel itself, in my opinion, is quite old and clearly in need of renovation. The rooms are clean, but a bit "dated." I would still rate it as a 3-star, though. I found the dinner and buffet to be very (!) borderline and by no means up to 3-star standards (more like a cheap chip shop, I'm sorry). The buffet was OK (with a pretty good carpaccio), but dinner – a small plate of pasta that felt like it came out of a packet and was overcooked, one small (dry, very long-oven) chicken leg, four potato wedges, and a "sweet pastry" for dessert – was, in my opinion, absolutely abysmal – a horror. The completely unmotivated staff – who were also present at breakfast – matched this. I don't mean to be picky and I know that 3 stars aren't 4 stars and that cuisines can vary greatly, but I couldn't really eat it all – which was by no means due to the quantity, which was, incidentally, very meager. I would definitely give the food a 5 (unsatisfactory). Unfortunately... We skipped breakfast – that's not how I want to start a good morning. We then went to a bar and had breakfast there, as breakfast was, in my opinion, even worse than dinner. The eggs were hard and cold, as was the fried bacon (did that all come straight from the fridge?). I was extremely disappointed. Everyone has different tastes, but I found everything really bad. Perhaps my expectations are too high, that may be true, but I do expect a certain level of quality when you're charging €190 for one night (two people) with half board! The whole thing, for well under €100, certainly requires a more differentiated approach. My conclusion: At most, 2-star quality for a 4-star price. As a school camp... OK, but then also at a correspondingly reasonable price. I don't think I'll book here again... almost certainly not.

09/08/2025: Some rooms are decent, others leave much to be desired. A bit far from the center and located on the road. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is simple and good.

21/10/2025: I ordered a kebab pizza from here and was very satisfied: the dough was crispy and light, and the filling was truly rich and flavorful. The kebab meat was delicious. Everything was delivered hot and neat. I did find the price a little higher than similar products at other places, but I'm happy with my choice and will order from them again.

21/09/2025: The wait was moderately long, despite the waiter slaloming between the tables and the kitchen (which I personally found a bit annoying). The manager doesn't understand a word of English, and overall, we weren't entirely satisfied with the food and service. It's clear that friendliness isn't the order of the day.

02/09/2025: I'm giving only one star to the atmosphere because it shouldn't affect the total; it's not assessable. The place is owned by the municipality, and the management changes. The food is truly shameful: €15 for a cutlet and fries, inedible, tough, and bad-tasting meat; €7.50 for a pre-cooked piadina, a water, and a Coke, for a total of €30.50. Make up your own minds, because €8 for a half-liter plastic bottle of water and a can of Coke is a rip-off. The whole thing is run by two people, with a place where you'd find full tables that needed clearing, a line of ten people at the cash register, and people sitting around waiting. Management isn't up to par. It's a classic tourist trap, to say the least. They charge one euro to use the bathroom, which is dirty and has no paper. As they say... I like the first one, but not the second one.

09/11/2025: The food is very good, the atmosphere is refined. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the owner.

09/11/2025: We enter the place around 5:10 PM. When we arrive, no one even looks at us or says a word. We wait a bit, but nothing. So we decide to make do and sit at an empty table. A friendly and pleasant waitress arrives, and we ask if we can get a hot chocolate and if it's gluten-free. She seems helpful and goes to inquire with the owner, who, in a decidedly unpleasant manner, tells the employee that they're closing and that there's no hot chocolate available (note that the online closing time is 6 PM). The waitress returns and offers us hot tea, coffee, or cold drinks. We ask for a hot tea and a juice. We're shocked by the arguments that resume shortly afterward, with the owner claiming that the waitress doesn't understand Italian and that she can't even make any hot tea because she only has the coffee machine on. MADNESS. We get up and leave; we'll make our own hot chocolate at home. It's a shame that the place seemed warm and welcoming at first glance.

29/10/2025: As soon as we entered the room, we immediately noticed an unpleasant musty smell, mostly coming from the bathroom, where it was clearly present and visible (even in the shower). Furthermore, the bathroom didn't include a bidet (which wasn't stated anywhere), and the magnificent toilet needed two flushes to turn off, otherwise it would keep running incessantly. It also said that if you left the bathroom towels on the floor, they would be changed, which didn't happen because they folded them up and put them back up. The room had this beautiful, now historic fan that had to be turned on at night. Needless to say, it made an absurd noise. Basically, since there were no mosquito nets, you either died of heat or were eaten by mosquitoes. The parking lot, which was quite small, required you to leave your car among the others with the keys in a box so that other guests could move it if there wasn't a space available. I didn't feel like leaving my car keys with just anyone, and I had to park outside the hotel. In conclusion, I firmly believe I won't return, and I certainly don't recommend it. I know I stayed in a two-star hotel and shouldn't expect much, but I'm not expecting much either.

14/09/2025: A wonderful experience, a very welcoming place, well-maintained rooms, and meticulously cleaned. The hotel is a little dated, but very simple and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

07/11/2025: The interior of the restaurant feels like it's been there for decades... which is nice, but only up to a point. Good food, no complaints. The price is in line with the amount eaten. It's annoying, really annoying, to be handed a fake receipt when paying in cash. Just pretend like everyone else and don't fool people, thanks.

14/10/2025: The place seems to have been stuck in the '80s; the decor is visibly dated, though well-maintained, and the plastic plants are a bit cheap. In short, it's not exactly a pleasant place. We had dinner on a Monday evening, and when we arrived, we were the only customers—not a good sign for a restaurant. After ordering, the drinks arrived almost immediately, while the entrees took a while, over 15 minutes. As for the food, all in all, we're okay: - My penne with salmon and black pepper was very generous and tasty, even though the pasta was visibly pre-cooked. - The pizza was a bit too oily, but still well-filled and had a good texture. - The fried fish was a bit dry; perhaps we didn't have the perfect night to enjoy particularly well-prepared dishes or fresh produce. The prices aren't exactly cheap: four of us spent about €30 each (€5 off the total) with three seafood first courses, a pizza, a fried fish dish, and five beers. If you have time and enjoy a vintage atmosphere, it could still be a fun experience. Weekends might be better than weekdays, but remember that if it's crowded, you'll need to be patient. I'll be back to give it a second chance!

21/10/2025: I rarely leave a review, and even more rarely a negative one. But in this case, I really feel compelled to advise against this place. I've been there four or five times over the years, and unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated each time. The latest experience, in particular, was truly disappointing. The staff is rude, and the atmosphere unwelcoming. An older man who appears to work there behaves inappropriately, with truly inappropriate attitudes toward customers. The attention to food and hygiene is practically nonexistent: dishes are prepared without care or love, the meat is of poor quality, and salads that seem stale. The wait times are also long, and the result doesn't even begin to justify the wait. If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation, but unfortunately, that's not possible.

20/11/2025: The food here tastes okay — not exactly wow, but considering you get to enjoy it surrounded by beautiful views all around, it’s definitely worth it.

10/08/2025: The hotel is in a great location right in the center, a great location but it also has some drawbacks, if you have a room next to the road, there's the problem of cars and noisy engines... The breakfast is plentiful and correct, the service is on a high level, so I recommend this place to all quick travelers

01/03/2025: Rifugio Strepitoso ! Accogliente , curato in ogni minimo particolare . Siamo stati lì per cena , un atmosfera indescrivibile ! Per non parlare del cibo …… tutto veramente buono. Dalla carne al pesce hai primi! Direi che non c’è nulla da aggiungere ….. se non un consiglio , se andate a Corvara , andate a trascorrere una serata qui !

29/01/2025: Bellissimo posto, terrazzo molto accogliente al sole. Buona qualità del cibo (non da top, ma molto buona). Peccato non ci sia servizio ai tavoli seppur i prezzi sono come se ci fosse.
