09/06/2025: We are lucky to have a pizzeria like this in Martignano: my husband and I go there regularly to get pizza, and sometimes we even eat there.. There are so many different flavors, our favorite pizza is the "Inferno". There is a very kind lady at the cash register, we always leave with a smile. It is a place where you want to return again and again.

31/08/2024: In questo soggiorno in Alta Pusteria di due settimane, tre sere sono state trascorse in questo rifugio a mezza costa sopra Monguelfo. Tutto assolutamente perfetto (prenotazione rispettata, accoglienza gentilissima dalla proprietaria, rigorosamente n costume). Rosticciata senza carne, ma con patate e funghi 🍄 gustosa, bistecca pizzaiola con patate 🥔 arrosto e fritte (carne ottima), la sera prima bistecca di maiale 🐷, sottile, gustosa, piatti di funghi 🍄 (finferli e porcini), salsiccia, polenta, uova con lo speck, goulasch. Un menù ricchissimo e completo ( solo da provare). 🥗 Insalata di crauti favolosa. Grappa al fieno, alla genziana, limoncello . Grazie, una tradizione fantastica

09/06/2025: There may have been somewhat of a clash of characters between me and the lady behind the counter. I simply asked in my least awful Italian (maybe I should have just stuck with English, but silly old me just tries to adapt to the country by at least trying to speak some of their language) whether takeaway was a possibility. Then the lady said this is Italy and that they relax and sit down whilst having their coffee. Noted, respect, but that's not an answer to the question that I asked, besides that I have things to do, places to see, and above all a ferry to catch...which I didn't say as it seemed pointless to me going into a discussion like that. After a little while, she begrudgingly asked what I wanted, I placed my takeaway order, I paid, and I got the goods. The coffees and brioches were alright. I have had better, but most definitely also far worse. All this stuff for 7 euros is pretty decent though. All and all, I think I'll be looking for a different place to get my morning coffees and pastries. Somewhere that at the very least appears to be somewhat more accommodating to tourists in general, or otherwise at least to somewhat socially awkward people like me. 😉

06/06/2025: The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were warm and the cappuccino was simply perfect. Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the moment. Greetings from Poland!

08/03/2025: Between 9-12 there is a morning pint offer, two white sausages, a pretzel and 0.5 liters of wheat for €12. Our requests for non-alcoholic wheat or shandy were met without any additional costs. It's worth it!

20/05/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato due notti allo Chalet Fogajard ed è stato come essere in paradiso. La posizione è unica, la vista da togliere il fiato, davanti allo chalet si ergono imponenti le Dolomiti e uno potrebbe passare ore ad ammirarle. La struttura è un tipico agriturismo di montagna, semplice ma curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. La cucina è di alta qualità con prodotti della zona, tutti i piatti della cena erano ottimi, curati nei minimi dettagli dallo chef. Anche l'opzione vegetariana è stata decisamente molto buona. La colazione molto ricca, con prodotti fatti in casa che ti fanno ricordare gli antichi sapori genuini. Infine, i proprietari sono molto gentili, ci hanno fatto sentire a casa e ci hanno dato ottimi consigli per le escursioni. Torneremo sicuramente e speriamo di riuscire a fare molte più notti.

10/05/2025: Prima volta allo chalet e devo dire che è stata un’ottima esperienza. Struttura molto curata e pulita. Abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione ed il cibo, soprattutto la cena, era ottimo.

31/01/2025: Malga molto carina a circa 3/4 d'ora di passeggiata da Passo Lavazé. Dopo la tempesta di Vaia é stato chiuso o per lo meno non é piú cosi agevolmente percorribile il sentiero nel bosco, anche perché di bosco é purtroppo rimasto poco. Si snoda invece una comoda strada forestale che porta direttamente alla malga, la rende una passeggiata molto facile e quindi molto accessibile. La malga é piccola, ha pochi posti interni quindi in inverno tende ad essere piena, d'estate con i tavoli all'aperto si ha piú disponibilitá. Piatti molto interessanti e originali cosi come l'aperitivo e le birre artigianali. Personale cortese, un po' in affanno con molta gente ma molto disponibili.

23/12/2024: Siamo ad apertura di stagione estiva e siamo partiti già molto molto bene. Tranne un piccolo inconveniente con il pane arrivato a fine pasto ma si si sono fatti perdonare in mille modi... e per questo confermo le 5 stelle. Luogo incantevole che ci ha accolti in veranda prenotando 10 minuti prima... anche se avevamo 5 cani. Mi sono pentito di non aver preso delle semplici uova patate e speck.... che sembravano essere un capolavoro. Ma credo di aver mangiato uno dei goulash più buoni di sempre. Densità della polenta 10 e lode. Mia moglie ha preso tris di canederli. Uno più buono di un altro.! Complimenti! Per farsi perdonare l'oste è arrivato a fine pasto con 3 bottiglie di grappa messe a nostra disposizione. Ah occhio con lo strudel... una sola fetta sembra un dolce intero. Ahahaha

11/06/2025: Posto super comodo nel quasi al centro tra spiaggia e centro di Molveno, prezzi abbordabili e ottimo servizio. Ci è piaciuto!

05/01/2025: 4 gennaio, giretto a Molveno,e abbiamo deciso di fermarci a mangiare a pranzo. Buona scelta questo locale, davvero. 3 adulti e due bambini, abbiamo preso una pizza grande da due,una pizza normale,e due insalate. Io personalmente NON sono delusa,anzi. Ottima pizza Dolomiti,speck scamorza e grana, veramente 👏. Verrò su probabilmente anche quest'estate,e spero di tornarci.

19/05/2025: Ristorante ottimo, cibi di qualità e ampia varietà nel menu. Il personale è molto cortese e presente in sala assicurando un servizio celere e preciso. Prezzi adeguati. Non do 5 stelle unicamente per 3 cose: prezzo un po’ troppo alto di coperto e acqua, personalmente preferisco avere una tovaglia al tavolo che invece ne è sprovvisto. In generale consigliatissimo comunque.

04/04/2025: Capitati un po' per caso abbiamo apprezzato l’ambiente e soprattutto i deliziosi hamburger, oltre all’ottima birra. Un po' deludenti invece, al di là degli effetti scenografici, i dolci. I prezzi sono altini, ma la qualità li giustifica. Consigliato.

09/02/2025: Locale arredato molto bene e curato nei dettagli, vasta e ottima scelta sul menu’ sia per mangiare che come bevande (ottime le birre artigianali). Il servizio molto attento e cortese. Anche il prezzo e’ giusto e rapportato alla qualita’ unico piccolo dettaglia ma che non inficia la recensione perche il locale non e’ consigliato ma obbligatorio andarci se passate da Riva e’ che avevo prenotato tramite the fork e sull’app avevo letto -20% ma magari mi saro’ sbagliato io.

17/05/2025: My visit to Wainks Restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. I felt like a second-class guest. While other tables received high-quality, ornate glasses, we were served plain plastic cups. I was particularly disappointed that, unlike other guests, we were asked to pay immediately, which gave the impression that they wanted to get rid of us quickly. This unequal treatment made my stay very unpleasant. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Wainks Restaurant.

23/06/2025: Thirteen is generally considered an unlucky number, but choosing Room No. 13 at the Girlanerhof was a real stroke of luck. As true "Girlanerhof veterans," we left completely thrilled, unfortunately, but we're already looking forward to seeing you again in the fall. It's always wonderful to arrive and enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel. This is defined by the personality of the hostess, Mrs. Margit Dellago, and the friendliness of her team, the creativity of the kitchen (thanks to Kalle and his team), and the "invisible spirits" who ensured a thoroughly successful vacation. Alongside Berlin and Waldshut, the Girlnaerhof is practically our "third home." Best regards, Elke and Bernd.

14/04/2025: Very well maintained and managed hotel, quiet without night noise, not quite centrally located, but ideal for all excursions and accessibility to holiday highlights in South Tyrol. Food varied and excellent. Service is always friendly and accommodating. Spa area very well maintained and tasteful, great outdoor pool. Perfect place, even with our furry friends we were treated in a totally relaxed way. We can't imagine anything better for relaxation and we will come back.
