19/11/2025: The staff is always very friendly and fast, which is not a given these days. The pizzas are always better. The food isn't overwhelming, but there's enough to suit every taste, and what's available is always excellent. I find the prices fair, not low but not excessive either. Let's just say that if they increased even a little, I'd turn up my nose, but I'd gladly return.

21/07/2025: Appena entrati nella ristorante Sud di Riva del Garda, ci si sente subito avvolti dall'atmosfera calda e accogliente del sud Italia. I tavoli in legno, le decorazioni colorate e l'odore delizioso dei piatti tipici ci hanno trasportato in un viaggio sensoriale. Lo staff è stato davvero fantastico: carino e cordiale, con quel tocco tipico del sud che rende l'accoglienza ancora più speciale. Abbiamo assaggiato diverse specialità e ogni morso era un'esplosione di sapori autentici. La pizza era semplicemente deliziosa, con ingredienti freschi e una pasta perfetta, mentre gli antipasti ci hanno fatto sognare di essere in una trattoria sul lungomare. Inoltre, ho apprezzato molto la pulizia del locale, che lo rende perfetto anche per famiglie numerose. Se cercate un posto dove gustare piatti squisiti e sentirvi come a casa, ristorante Sud è assolutamente super consigliata! Assolutamente da tornare

12/12/2025: First time at this hotel, excellent central location in Bressanone. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. We dined at the hotel as we booked half board. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. A tip for those staying half board, as they offer a tasting menu. Offering typical local dishes is an alternative to the menu, as some guests may have allergies or dislike certain dishes. Overall

04/10/2025: I was really surprised by this place. I thought it was some kind of typical dive, but it wasn't. The beer and snacks were delicious. The staff was beyond praise; a nice girl helped me buy cigarettes from the vending machine and was very pleasant in her service and conversation. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will definitely return if the opportunity arises.

21/10/2025: We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Golf Hotel Sonne. Helmut and his team took great care of us from check-in to departure. The location is perfect for a quiet view of the mountains, and the hotel sits on the golf course. The rooms are basic and comfortable. We stayed with half-board, and the 5-course included dinners were amazing. Staff from housekeeping to the restaurant were friendly, kind and professional. Breakfast each morning was served with suggested itineraries and activities for the day. This is a wonderful, family-run spot, highly recommend!

07/10/2025: We stayed at the Golfhotel Sonne from Friday to Sunday and had a truly wonderful time – our dog was also welcome, which we were very happy about. The hotel is beautifully situated with a view of the mountains, perfect for relaxing. What was particularly nice: From the restaurant and breakfast room, you look directly onto the golf course and have a fantastic view into the distance – that alone gave us a pure holiday feeling. The food was truly outstanding – everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and simply absolutely delicious. We were looking forward to the meal and actually went back to the restaurant twice because we enjoyed it so much! Our room overlooked the golf course and had a balcony – it was cozy and clean, just the right place to feel at home. The entire team was very welcoming, and you immediately feel welcome. We would definitely come back and are already looking forward to it!

25/01/2026: This is our third visit to Villa Orso Grigio, but unfortunately, this will be our last. As noted by other reviewers, although the property has potential, the current management and lack of attention to detail are not up to par. During a half-board dinner (three courses), my husband absentmindedly ordered a dish off the menu. Even though the owner was serving us personally, he didn't point out the extra charge or invite us to take the third course. At checkout, we were charged an extra €38, refusing to calculate the simple price difference (equal to €3). The fact that the owner refused to engage in conversation, despite being present, demonstrates an unacceptable lack of professionalism for a hotel of this caliber. Structural Deficiencies and Maintenance: Having worked in the luxury hotel industry for years, I found some shortcomings embarrassing: - ​Technology: Satellite TV without its original remote control; we were provided with a partially functioning and dated replacement. Smart TV not connected to the internet. - ​Safety: There was an electrical outlet in the room that wasn't secured to the wall, posing an obvious risk of electric shock. - ​Attention to detail: The breakfast menu was broken and poorly assembled. Furthermore, as noted in other reviews, the doughnuts for breakfast, although included on the menu, were not available, and the croissants didn't appear fresh. ​Conclusion: It's a shame to see a property in decline, where the inflexibility of the management prevails over the hospitality. The "coldness" I received when it came to the bill was unfortunately consistent with the neglect of the room details. Not recommended for those seeking a truly premium experience.

13/09/2025: WONDERFUL meat, it's been years since I've enjoyed such a good roast beef steak, it's worth a visit and if you're a meat lover you'll be in heaven!!!

09/03/2026: You arrive and have to walk straight through the smoking area to get inside. Not very pleasant, especially with children. We were shown to a table in a cramped corner, where we had to wait a very long time for our order. The restaurant is a bit dated, but the service was very friendly. However, when the food finally arrived after an hour, we were very disappointed. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel with fries and a schnitzel with pepper sauce. The Wiener Schnitzel was very thick, and the breading tasted like old oil. The schnitzel was okay; the sauce came from a carton, so you can't really go wrong with that. Everything was pretty much under-salted, and salt was being passed from one table to another as everyone needed to add more. Many people, especially from Eastern Europe, came for the large pork knuckle. Perhaps recommended for construction workers, but not for a family outing in Kaltern.
