17/06/2025: Das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral und hat sehr schicke Tischdecken und Stoffservietten. Das Essen war schön angerichtet, wurde schnell serviert und war sehr lecker. Die Kellner sehr aufmerksam und schnell.

11/09/2025: During my stay at the Hotel Des Alpes, I took advantage of the outdoor restaurant, La Canisela, a few evenings, because I had enjoyed it so much in previous years. I must admit that, if anything, the quality of the service and food has improved even further. My compliments!

06/09/2025: We were looking for a place to eat after the hotel where we were told they didn't have any places for dinner 🤔, and so we came across this wonderful restaurant which, in addition to the delicious food 😋 the impeccable service, also has very fair prices🤗 We will definitely be back 🤗

14/10/2025: During my visit from September 14-21, 2025, I had a single room with half board. Three other friends stayed in one of the holiday apartments (3 rooms with shared bathroom and living room). A reasonable price comparable to an Alpine Club hut but considerably more comfortable; A simple but cozy room with a balcony, TV, wardrobe, and shower; A sauna area in the basement with a sauna, steam bath, whirlpool, Kneipp pool, and relaxation area; Half board with breakfast featuring muesli, fruit, bread, cold cuts, and jams; and Dinner usually included a salad buffet, primo (pasta, strudel, etc.), secondo (meat, fish), and dessert, although the latter three were varied and different every day during my week at the Jägerhof; a fairly full Sunday buffet; and one evening of a fantastic cheese tasting with fruit and jams. We were also lucky with the weather during the week: drizzle one day before breakfast, but otherwise, sunshine every day. The surrounding hiking area is relatively quiet, even away from the lifts and ski area above Reinswald. Except for the trails from Reinswald to the Latzfonser Kreuz and the Totenkirchl (and Villanderer), I hardly encountered any other hikers. The trails and ridges of Lorenzen-Schrotthorn-Pfannspitz-Jakobsspitz, Muttnellspitz-Hochscheibe-Schönjöchl-Gentersbergspitze-Leiterspitz, and Pfattenspitz-Getrumspitze were particularly pleasantly secluded. I'd love to come back and hope for good weather.

23/10/2025: A nice bar with a good cappuccino and a very friendly waiter, definitely worth recommending.

07/12/2025: Dinner for two, one dish and one pizza arrived within 10 minutes of each other, leaving us to eat alone. Little menu choice, and the pizza wasn't the best. I don't recommend it.

29/11/2025: We had two decent pizzas. The goulash and sausage were cold, not to mention the strudel was completely frozen. I wouldn't recommend it... For the food we ate, we were pretty overpriced.

19/11/2025: The staff is always very friendly and fast, which is not a given these days. The pizzas are always better. The food isn't overwhelming, but there's enough to suit every taste, and what's available is always excellent. I find the prices fair, not low but not excessive either. Let's just say that if they increased even a little, I'd turn up my nose, but I'd gladly return.

05/05/2025: Siamo finiti qui dopo la visita al lago di Carezza, il locale è molto vicino al parcheggio. Il cibo offerto è semplice ma gustoso, le pappardelle al ragù di cervo erano molto buone e gustose!

20/05/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato due notti allo Chalet Fogajard ed è stato come essere in paradiso. La posizione è unica, la vista da togliere il fiato, davanti allo chalet si ergono imponenti le Dolomiti e uno potrebbe passare ore ad ammirarle. La struttura è un tipico agriturismo di montagna, semplice ma curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. La cucina è di alta qualità con prodotti della zona, tutti i piatti della cena erano ottimi, curati nei minimi dettagli dallo chef. Anche l'opzione vegetariana è stata decisamente molto buona. La colazione molto ricca, con prodotti fatti in casa che ti fanno ricordare gli antichi sapori genuini. Infine, i proprietari sono molto gentili, ci hanno fatto sentire a casa e ci hanno dato ottimi consigli per le escursioni. Torneremo sicuramente e speriamo di riuscire a fare molte più notti.

10/05/2025: Prima volta allo chalet e devo dire che è stata un’ottima esperienza. Struttura molto curata e pulita. Abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione ed il cibo, soprattutto la cena, era ottimo.

10/12/2025: Excellent service considering how busy they are. The food is average, but a pre-cooked industrial brioche costs €2.50, €3.70, and 750ml of water... Among the most expensive service station restaurants I've ever seen. The toast was shameful: transparent slices of ham and half a slice of cheese...for the price of a first course at a restaurant.

08/12/2025: I was passing by at 11:00 PM. There was only one person on duty for a very large establishment. Coffee not up to par. A drop of water (a tiny glass), where no one is denied, and free, in all of Italy; here you had to pay. A long wait.

30/09/2025: Picturesque mountain setting in the Dolomites. Very welcoming proprietor and staff who speak Italian, German, and English. Clean rooms, decent breakfast buffet. Other meals available in the café.

11/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a few days last week. The owners' courtesy, kindness, and friendliness made our mini-vacation relaxing and carefree. THANK YOU!!!! The food was very good...super breakfast and delicious dinner, what can I say...highly recommended. A special mention to the people who work at this hotel...kind and thoughtful.
