23/05/2024: Stopped here for very late lunch 1535 hrs returning to Corvara from Marmolada, but via off piste routes. Key was to be somewhere where no lifts were necessary for our return. Kitchen was closed but the owner most kindly offered us sandwiches, he’s mates with my awesome alpine guide Maria P. The bread looked huge but did it just melt in my mouth, so soft, so tasty, so fresh, and the prosciutto was to die for! How do they get everything to taste so good and fresh up on a mountain! The views outside were lovely! Must visit. Straight ski down to Corvara !

25/03/2024: Worth mentioning is the excellent cuisine and staff 🥰. The wellness area is small but nice and clean - including a very good selection of teas. The rooms are simple but very clean and everything that is important is there. Unfortunately, despite turning off the heating, it was too warm.

29/03/2024: Very cute cabin along the La via del Dialogue path, with indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious typical food, kind and courteous service. Prices in line with the location.

27/03/2024: Lovely place with home like atmosphere. Perfect for a coffee or a drink. Unfortunately the food was nothing special, we don’t recommend the soups - very dense and a bit tasteless, neither the desserts. The have a big offer of freshly grilled meats so personals it is a better option.

My (subjective) impression of the restaurant and clientele: A delightful surprise to discover an upscale restaurant nestled deep within the village. While it leans more towards elegance than casual, I still felt at ease. Was the food delicious? Without a doubt, the pasta with rich Bolognese sauce was exquisite, and the Tagliata was grilled to perfection. Service style? Friendly, English-speaking, attentive, and professional. Top-notch. Price-performance ratio? Very reasonable; I settled the bill at €42 for primi platti, secondi, a beer, and coffee. Atmosphere? Tending towards elegance rather than casual. Not the typical spot for friends celebrating their latest hike, but perfect for a romantic evening or relaxed lunch with your partner. What did I particularly enjoy? The hearty pasta, typical of Trentino, was outstanding, as was the warmth of the service staff. You're greeted with genuine smiles. Would I visit again? Absolutely. Comments: Maintain the current setup; it's delightful as it is. ...and please add non-alcoholic beer to.the beverage menu. 🙂

18/03/2024: Great hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner are great. The rooms were also very clean and tidy. The shuttle bus took us every morning to the gondola a little further away and we could ski back almost to the hotel. In short, this hotel is highly recommended and we will definitely come back again.

10/03/2024: Both a restaurant and a wine bar, the Pillhof restaurant offers guests a refined, elegant and welcoming environment. The cuisine is superb, extremely refined and with seasonal ingredients, the dish in the photo speaks for itself.... So a varied menu that always adapts to the seasonality of the ingredients. The dining room staff is helpful and attentive to customer care, very good 😊. It is a pleasure to return to this beautiful place for lunch or dinner. The wine cellar is a plus if you want to take advantage of it. Nice in spring or summer to eat in the outdoor courtyard.
