18/01/2025: The best pizza I've ever eaten!
31/10/2024: Last year, in the same place, we ate the best pizza in Italy and drank many liters of the house red super wine... this year, a big disappointment, and we came to Voltera just for the pizza. The wine tasted very bad, almost not drinkable, and the pizza was a severe disappointment, not even close to last year's gastronomic pleasure.
All in all, we don't come anymore!

18/09/2024: Esta fue una cena fantástica en un complejo espectacular en la Toscana.
Tuvimos risotto de langoustina y ensalada de jardín para empezar y principal de pato y cochinillo seguido de un postre de frambuesa y avellana. Una deliciosa selección de pan se sirvió en el lado.
El servicio fue muy bueno y los alrededores, en el edificio principal del complejo hermoso.
02/09/2024: Immersed in the splendid Tuscan hills, absolute quiet; beautiful landscapes, friendliness and relaxation in the swimming pool.
Ps. Several cute little dogs that add value to the place 🤩

07/11/2024: Cozy place, with excellent service and very attentive waiters. We tried the eggplant parmigiana which was delicious and pizza. The shame of the pizza is that it had too much oil, which made it a bit greasy. To top it off, millefeuille which was delicious!
01/11/2024: Oggi, primo novembre, città stracolma, arrivati intorno alle 14,15 senza prenotazione. Ci hanno trovato comunque due posti, personale gentilissimo, servizio veloce, personale alla mano che riesce sempre a rispondere con simpatia e cordialità, cosa non semplice quando il locale è pieno ed i ritmi di lavoro frenetici.abbiamo preso soltanto i primi, (per scelta nostra), eccellenti sia i tagliolini al tartufo che le tagliatelle al ragù di chianina. Cinque stelle del tutto meritate.

08/11/2024: Día lluvioso en Volterra... Me decidí por este encantador restaurante. Inmediatamente me dieron la bienvenida y me senté en una mesa encantadora. El camarero no podría haber sido más profesional o servicial. El restaurante tenía un ambiente familiar que me encantó... tan cálido y amable de una manera italiana maravillosa. El pici fue fantástico. Me encantó este lugar y volvería la próxima vez en Volterra.

Ordenó la pasta de jabalí, y también consiguió trufa blanca fresca. La comida es increíble, y el personal y el servicio super amable! Volverá

29/12/2024: Siamo stati accolti col sorriso e ci siamo sentiti a casa. Siamo tutti rimasti piacevolmente soddisfatti delle pietanze ordinate e dalle porzioni abbondanti. Piatti davvero ottimi , di grande qualità e dai sapori tradizionali.

A stone's throw from the center we had dinner in this restaurant, a fairly generous starter divided into 2 based on cured meats, cheeses and bruschetta (the latter really good). Two first courses, pici (highly recommended) and ravioli, also very good, but above all really plentiful! Sweets of their own production, simple and tasty, a pastry with cream and chocolate flakes and a wafer with cream and strawberries. Average and honest account. Fast and discreet service. We eat well.
I would also like to recommend it due to the fact that I have seen various locals dining there, and I think this is a guarantee of quality!
21/09/2024: Cibo ottimo, accoglienza super, localizzazione a due passi dal Battistero, prezzi onestissimi. Possibilità di scegliere menu degustazione o alla carta. Fantastica la pappa al pomodoro.

14/01/2025: I stayed in this hotel for two nights in an economy room. Cozy hotel with a lobby with fireplace, clean and tidy. The economy room is basic in terms of furnishings and bathroom but with everything you need for two nights. Average breakfast, friendly owner. Excellent location to reach the center of Volterra on foot without moving the car.

27/01/2025: al centro di Volterra locale davvero molto carino con cucina a vista. personale molto gentile e pietanze ottime . ho assaggiato le zuppe che erano buonissime. spicca la qualità dell'olio che utilizzano anche sui crostini. fa davvero la differenza una ampia gamma i vini in bottiglia. quelli al bicchiere sono i classici vinaccia e chianti. servizio molto veloce.
25/01/2025: Mangiare veramente buono. Il peposo che ho preso era veramente buono, il sugo meritava proprio la scarpetta. Polenta buona e dolce idem

30/01/2025: An elderly gentleman who makes pizzas in a wood-fired oven and makes them in the pan that any grandmother at home uses, you can't call me pizza for 2 reasons: 1 you can't taste the flavor and crunchiness of the stone heated by the embers, it's 2 because they make the pizzas so small that in real pizzerias they're baby and in the end they cost too much for their quality, I completely screwed up.
