06/05/2026: Very nice place on a rainy day. The pizzas were delicious. I had to get my own olive oil, but when you add a little olive oil to the pizza, it becomes - mama mia. The only remark - when you eat a little, they try to tell you that it's time to go, not to linger too long, which is annoying. But everything else was very good.

01/05/2026: The food was good and the wine was suggested well by staff (although I later found out that having wine with Pizza was wasn't typical for Italians!) The service was fair, the staff were reasonably attentive. They did a good job of helping us select food and drink. Atmosphere was nice! We sat outside but it wasn't tight like many of the places you can eat outside in Volterra. So you didn't feel cramped while you dine.

22/06/2026: I went for lunch over the weekend. It's not my first time there, and it won't be the last. This time I tried a second course, the "Peposo," and I was completely satisfied with the dish and the service. Carla recommended the dish. Excellent quality meat. Reasonable prices. Welcoming atmosphere. I'll be back.

12/05/2026: We ordered two pizzas. One tasted like a carelessly made frozen pizza, and the vegetarian one was just pizza bread with completely unseasoned vegetables and absolutely no flavor. The pizzas were remarkably bad.

06/07/2026: Went to eat last evening and quite disappointed. Sat on a table over the street, very uncomfortable, very little room. Ordered lasagna - very bland and I thought expensive. Glass of wine also expensive.

30/06/2026: The bar is located at the entrance to Volterra's historic center, a few steps from the La Dogana underground parking garage. It's a typical tourist spot, very crowded, and we had to wait a while for a waitress. The coffee was good, the prosecco was cold, and we were given snacks. Overall, we had a pleasant time here.

22/03/2026: I stopped in at this restaurant today for an expresso. It wasn't a bar/cafe so they don't serve drinks without a food order. The gentleman saw the disappointment on my face and said, "ok, I'll make you one". He made this Canadian's day. Such kindness was very much appreciated by this lass!

28/02/2026: February 2026: Best pizza in Volterra. Crowded with locals who grew up with pizza. Interesting menu with many, many different interesting pizzas (none with pinepple and/or french fries). Moderate prices, friendly service.
