31/05/2026: The mixed platter was excellent, featuring a focaccia that was so addictive (perhaps the cheeses weren't quite up to par with the cured meats). The tordelli, wrapped in a flavorful ragù, were also very good. The desserts we chose were good but not exciting, in my opinion. The young woman serving the tables was genuinely kind and helpful, both with regular customers and those just passing through like us. The only downside was the road to the place, which is narrow and has several potholes for the last few kilometers, but the journey was worth it for the peace and quiet you feel once you get there.

30/04/2026: Dining at Gilberto's is always a pleasure. You're greeted with a smile and kindness. Traditional Lombard dishes are prepared according to the seasons. A very extensive wine list. Truly fair prices. It's best to book well in advance.

12/07/2026: We came on Sunday evening as a couple. There are plenty of seats and parking spaces. You order your food at the counter. The restaurant is self-service. The food was freshly prepared and really delicious. Unfortunately, we weren't completely full afterward. You're also expected to clear and wipe your own table. The price was reasonable.

10/06/2026: I'm sorry for the rating, maybe it was a bad night for the place. We received the pizzas and a friend of ours didn't get her pizza because they forgot it 🤣 poor woman ate 25 minutes after we were having dessert.

01/06/2026: As soon as I walked in, I was immediately struck by the delicious smell of pizza that opened my stomach, in a welcoming and charming atmosphere. The two waiters were friendly, but we waited almost an hour from ordering to get our pizzas. I'm not sure what caused all this waiting time. The pizzas were good and light, cooked in a wood-fired oven, but they were too "slowly" baked. Overall, it was good, but there's room for improvement.

08/04/2026: I went there because Google Maps said it was open until 4:30, but once I arrived, I found it closed. There was a sign on the door indicating Easter closures on Mondays and Tuesdays, but nowadays people rely mostly on online hours, so it would be important to update those as well. I'm still giving it 4 stars because it's not meant to be a bad review; on the contrary, I'm willing to return another time because I think the place deserves it. However, after waiting until after work and driving there, finding it closed due to outdated online information was genuinely frustrating. Just a suggestion: it's absolutely right to take some days off, but it would be really helpful to also indicate it on Google Maps to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.

30/03/2026: I've been here twice within a year and it's consistently excellent. Good products, fairly short wait times, and friendly staff. Average prices. The space is a bit cramped, but there's seating outside in the summer.

07/04/2026: I always find the pizzeria welcoming and friendly. The pizzas are delicious, made with excellent ingredients. The taste is "like it used to be." I've finally rediscovered the flavor of traditional pizza, and the owners are always friendly, both on the phone and in person.

08/07/2026: We went there a total of three times. Twice for food, and on one occasion we also watched a football match. The other time we just went for a few drinks to watch the game. The ambiance is really lovely, especially the pond, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The food was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service was a huge disappointment. The blonde waitress was friendly and tried her best. Her dark-haired colleague, however, gave the impression from the start that she didn't enjoy her job or the guests. She also had an arrogant manner as she walked through the restaurant, making us feel unwelcome rather than welcome. That's not what friendliness and attentiveness look like. It's a shame, because the beautiful location can't compensate for the poor service. Overall, it's rather average and not a restaurant we would necessarily visit again. Italian: Siamo stati in questo ristorante tre volte. Due to the cenare, it is in a different occasion that also guards a part of the game. Un'altra volta siamo andati solo per bere qualcosa e guardare la partita. The ambience is wonderfully beautiful, so prattutto the laghetto che creates a piacevole atmosphere. This discreet era is special. Purtroppo il service is a great delusion. The camera is ready and available. La collega dai capelli scruri, invece, fin dall'inizio ha dato l'impressione di non avere alcuna voglia di lavorare né di occuparsi dei clientsi. If you are agitated by the locale with an atteggiamento arrogante, facendo sentire gli ospiti più un disturbo che persone benvenute. Cortesia and attenzione verso il cliente dovrebbero essere la norma. This is a special, perfect location that doesn't have to be compensated for by a service like this. Nel complesso, a piuttostosto mediocre and a ristorante in cui non abbiamo alcun motivo per tornare.
