06/09/2025: For 3 evenings in the past we have been exhibitors and we always get the pizza there, it's very good, highly recommended, see you next time

16/08/2025: Today, August 16th, there is no room. Fine, but do you want to answer to take calls for tomorrow or do you have to book a week in advance? No thanks, it's not worth it. You're not the only ones here, and if you don't deign to answer, I'll leave forever.

19/08/2025: We finally got the fried anchovies that my husband loves so much. The owner's very nice daughter speaks German, which helped us with our orders and our requests. But English is also spoken here! 😀The food was wonderful, and we highly recommend the restaurant. The view at sunset is fantastic.

12/08/2025: Summer lunch with friends: A very balanced menu with both starters and main courses. Dishes are beautifully presented and very well balanced between the various combinations. Excellent hospitality and service, all in a very charming and intimate setting. We'll be back.

29/09/2025: I've lost count of the number of times I've eaten here. As always, I love it! The carbonara is highly recommended, as are the supplì! They also have some gluten- and lactose-free dessert options (not just sorbets).

29/09/2025: Just a few minutes from La Spezia, this wonderful place offers Roman cuisine. The owner's hospitality makes you feel right at home, in a truly spectacular setting with pleasant background music. Everything I ate was delicious, from appetizers to dessert and coffee. The wine recommendation was excellent. Fast service. Good value. I'd definitely return.

18/09/2025: I went there this evening with my family and I have to say we had a fantastic pizza. Light and crispy, topped with top-quality ingredients. Very nice location; you can eat outside. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's a shame it's not near our house.

13/08/2025: Escaping the highway, we found a tasty stop along the Cisa alternative route, with exceptional hospitality and excellent quality. It was one of those unforgettable stops that we'll definitely make again. The Fritto Misto was the envy of many renowned seaside restaurants; the quality was evident in every bite. Next time, we'll also take advantage of the Pescheria to bring home a final taste of the sea in Pavia.

27/07/2025: I discovered this pizzeria a few years ago, and since then, it's been a regular stop every time I'm in the area. The pizzas are really good, and the staff is very friendly.

05/09/2025: Last night we went for three takeout pizzas: a vegetarian, a Margherita, and a Napoli. The first two were double-crust, the third thin-crust. The Margherita was made of two layers of pizza that looked like they were stacked on top of each other; the base was falling off and it was raw. The vegetarian was also made of two layers of pizza, also raw in the center, and very heavy. The Napoli tasted like "pane carasau," not a normal pizza. We've tried it three times in a year; a bad night is possible, but the pizzas have always had this "pane carasau" quality. Over the years, about 25, we've always had pizza from this place, always having had a good experience, but under this management, we won't be ordering it again. We're sorry for the negative review, but it was necessary.

11/08/2025: Borgo della Colomba is located in a small valley crossed by the Via Francigena. Peace and tranquility reign supreme, along with the soothing sound of water flowing in the stream beside the village. The management at Borgo della Colomba is kind and attentive.

02/08/2025: The food was okay, but the service left much to be desired. The pricing seemed arbitrary and unclear. Therefore, this restaurant is not recommended for tourists.

24/08/2025: I highly recommend this place for its uniqueness. A farm that serves as a restaurant, with a stable and its own animals next door. The location is very charming. It feels like a house built in the trees, even though it's not in a tree. It's very difficult to find the way on foot once you've parked the car, as there are no signs. You have to enter through the gate of a private residence and follow a small path. They prefer cash payment.

18/08/2025: Excellent for authentic Massese cuisine, whether it's a hearty plate of Tordelli Porcosi (pork-stuffed tortellini) or wood-fired, locally sourced steaks, or simply enjoying a meal in a quaint setting with the scent of the farm in the air, this is the perfect place. Casual yet homely, the prices are reasonable, and the food is truly delicious, along with excellent house wine. On weekends, you'll also find accordion players, adding to the atmosphere.

15/08/2025: Bati Bati is now an institution in Marina di Carrara; I think even the lifeguard in the back row knows it. The atmosphere is simple, no frills, no flex—and that's fine. They serve both pizza and a restaurant, and obviously, in the middle of August, this combo means the kitchen sometimes takes a breather... as it did for us. No dramas, it was the Ferragosto holiday after all. The penne with scampi? A caress for the soul, 100% comfort food vibes. I tried the pizzas quickly, and the one with zucchini flowers, in my opinion, had more to tell. The fried food took a bit too long to arrive, but when it arrived... it was good, average, the kind that won't change your life but will keep you company. In short: a solid 3.5, a place that tells a bit of the history of Marina di Carrara, still frozen in certain postcards of the past... but with that charm that makes you say "come on, I'll go back".
