Open your eyes, you're at the peniche, where taste meets harmony and every dish becomes a masterpiece of flavor and exaltation. Speechless, try it to believe it.
09/12/2025: Excellent customer service and the food is just beautiful. Wonderful friendly and accommodating staff, will be back on our next visit for sure.

I ate at this restaurant last night with two of my friends.
The panigacci and cured meats were excellent, definitely the best in the area.
Exceptional value for money.
I'll definitely be back.

The only flaw is that because I paid with debit card, they charged me twice: 120 euros instead of 60.
Perhaps a little more attention to the customer at the cash register.

13/01/2026: I stayed one night at Locanda de Banchieri and the experience was excellent in every way. The property is small, with just a few rooms, but very well-maintained: the room was clean, tidy, and welcoming. I also dined at the Michelin-starred restaurant, and you immediately sense the quality: a well-structured menu, quality ingredients, and truly excellent dishes. The service was professional, attentive, and very friendly.

20/12/2025: The best lard shop in Colonnata. Mario (the owner) and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. When I go to stock up on lard to take back to Rome, I always stop by for lunch with their wonderful mixed platters and hot sgabei (delicious).
I recommend it 100%.

Circolo Culturale Enogastronomico Archivi della Resistenza

08/09/2025: A truly beautiful place, nestled among the cool chestnut trees of Lunigiana. The museum and all the activities they host throughout the year are interesting. The Amaro del Partigiano liqueur is also excellent, and I never miss the opportunity to buy it.
But the highlight of the place is the fantastic Fino al Cuore della Rivolta Festival, held in August. This year, the program of both debates and concerts was truly superb.
Congratulations to all the volunteers who work there.
The only downside: the long waits, especially at the social lunches.
02/09/2025: I spent two days there during the 2025 Festival della Resistenza. The archives are accessible through a multimedia experience. A truly wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people, interesting talks, and quality live music, all free of charge. The volunteers also prepare excellent food in the evenings, and there's a free camping area. I'll definitely be back in 2026.

08/09/2025: My group and I spent the August bank holiday at the restaurant and had a great time. They served us a set menu from appetizers to dessert. The afternoon included music and karaoke. We had fun and spent a wonderful day among rabbits, horses, and other little animals at the edge of the woods. I recommend it.
