03/01/2026: Fantastic location, welcoming, warm, and with excellent traditional cuisine. Even though the Agricamper booking was closed, they still welcomed us. €20 for a non-agricamper stay with bathroom, shower, washing machine, and electricity. A breathtaking visit and roadside pitches overlooking the valley with lovely wooden terraces where you can set up a table and chairs and enjoy the silence and tranquility. The pitches are quite muddy with puddles of water after the recent rains, but if you park right, you can step onto the wooden deck. Excellent value for money.

I enjoyed exceptional truffle scallops, excellent mushroom tagliata, and delicious fresh tagliolini with ragù!!
The desserts were top notch.

03/01/2026: I called to make a reservation, a lady answered and asked me how many people there were. As soon as I answered, "There were only two of us," she said she didn't have any seats. So I wondered, if she didn't have any seats, why did she ask me how many people there were? It's clear that since she knew there were only two of us, she didn't want to take a table. RUDE!!!

01/01/2026: My wife, daughter, and I ate at this restaurant on the evening of December 31st. The food was delicious and plentiful, especially considering the special day...and the prices were fair. One of the things that struck us most was Stefano's friendliness and attentiveness to the customer, which, reading other reviews, is an added bonus. We will definitely return to this restaurant thanks to the food and the friendly service we found.

08/09/2025: A truly beautiful place, nestled among the cool chestnut trees of Lunigiana. The museum and all the activities they host throughout the year are interesting. The Amaro del Partigiano liqueur is also excellent, and I never miss the opportunity to buy it.
But the highlight of the place is the fantastic Fino al Cuore della Rivolta Festival, held in August. This year, the program of both debates and concerts was truly superb.
Congratulations to all the volunteers who work there.
The only downside: the long waits, especially at the social lunches.
02/09/2025: I spent two days there during the 2025 Festival della Resistenza. The archives are accessible through a multimedia experience. A truly wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people, interesting talks, and quality live music, all free of charge. The volunteers also prepare excellent food in the evenings, and there's a free camping area. I'll definitely be back in 2026.

01/10/2025: It was a very positive experience during a pleasant motorcycle ride with friends in the Lunigiana/Garfagnana Apennines.
We were welcomed, hosted, and generously fed with warmth and friendliness by the owners, Cristina and her husband.
I will gladly return and recommend it to anyone interested.

We called late for lunch on a holiday Saturday, and despite the restaurant being packed, they reserved a quiet table for us and provided excellent service. Traditional, quality food, generous portions. Excellent value. Thanks to Lucilla and Norma for their kindness. We'll definitely be back to try the asado this summer!
