We had a wonderful time; the place reflects the idea of ​​a true osteria, the staff is attentive and kind, and the menu offers a simple yet excellent and intelligent variety of dishes, from the most traditional to its reinterpretations... all delicious. 11/09/2025: A very beautiful country house nestled in the quiet hills. We had a wonderful room, which had a pleasant ambiance thanks to some lovely antique pieces, such as small chests as bedside tables and a historic folding screen as the headboard. A very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and a balcony with a view of the countryside – a great place to relax. A very good restaurant, a lovely breakfast buffet, and super friendly staff rounded off the positive stay. We actually ended up here by chance because of a misunderstanding with our reservation at a small agriturismo nearby (thanks to Julia from La Vecchia Cascina for calling around to find us a room), and we were immediately given a very warm welcome. Don't let the somewhat rustic access road put you off; it's worth the trip :)

10/09/2025: We weren't actually staying at the hotel, but were there for three days of dining and drinking at a wedding. The location is a bit out of the way and difficult to reach without your own car (but you can book a taxi well in advance). The food was incredibly delicious, and the wedding was beautifully planned by the hotel. The pool looks amazing, and the prosecco is delicious! We also took a look at our friends' rooms there, and they look beautiful.

08/09/2025: A truly beautiful place, nestled among the cool chestnut trees of Lunigiana. The museum and all the activities they host throughout the year are interesting. The Amaro del Partigiano liqueur is also excellent, and I never miss the opportunity to buy it. But the highlight of the place is the fantastic Fino al Cuore della Rivolta Festival, held in August. This year, the program of both debates and concerts was truly superb. Congratulations to all the volunteers who work there. The only downside: the long waits, especially at the social lunches.

02/09/2025: I spent two days there during the 2025 Festival della Resistenza. The archives are accessible through a multimedia experience. A truly wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people, interesting talks, and quality live music, all free of charge. The volunteers also prepare excellent food in the evenings, and there's a free camping area. I'll definitely be back in 2026.

31/08/2025: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED We returned a week later, and if we loved it the first time, we loved it even more the second time. The owner is very kind and welcoming. The food is really good and the prices are excellent. The appetizers were good, the lasagna was delicious, the tripe was excellent, and the desserts were superb. Marika and Luca (the tripe masters 😂)

26/08/2025: A restaurant that shines with its quality and friendly service, even though it's located on the main road. Beautiful terrace and well-kept interior. Extremely friendly service and delicious food. Our lack of language skills was compensated for by courtesy and genuine effort. We would gladly return anytime.

01/09/2025: Simple and inexpensive food, friendly, fast service, and ample parking across from the covered terrace. If you order the small salad, it comes not only with tomatoes and lettuce leaves, but also with mozzarella, tuna, and corn, so it's not really a small side salad. Otherwise, the quaint ambiance overlooks a marble quarry. After your meal, you should briefly walk over to the bridge on the right, from where you'll have a great view.
