The quality of the food is super, typical Tuscan dishes and excellent products prepared according to tradition by chef Marco, who however does not forget to look at innovation. The onion tart, the home-produced pickles and the wild boar in all its forms are absolutely worth trying. shapes. Exceptional staff, excellent professional service but at the same time contextualized to the familiar environment you breathe. Matteo, the owner, an exceptional person with great entertainment skills. In short, a place that you don't easily forget and that you become attached to. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back very soon. Thanks for a fantastic evening.

21/05/2024: Went for many years in Castiglione and didn’t knew about this Restaurant, wish I had found it sooner. They just serve fresh fish, it comes with a price - more than fair - and with a “limited choice”. We were pretty early and the fisherman came in with fresh fished shrimps. You know you eat quality food here. The service was very nice. We forgot to take the picture before because the food looked too good. It’s not directly in the city center so find a parking spot shouldn’t be that hard.

24/05/2024: Let's start with the service: it isn't there! Let's continue by agreeing with you, modifying and giving 1 star. You have to go and take the order yourself, you have to bring everything back when you've finished but at least it's specified on the bill that it costs 0. To order, short but endless line, about 10 minutes per person to order. Half an hour of waiting to go and get everything but the chips are cold and burnt, the vegetables are half raw and soaked in oil, the aubergine cutlets inedible, burnt and full of fried and refried oil! The fish was all frozen and the portions were tiny. Octopus that is too salty and fried that borders on sufficiency. Finally the seating, inside with about 35 degrees, outside with uncomfortable stools and ridiculously narrow tables. The bill is then absurd, with the same amount you eat in a restaurant served and revered a fixed menu of €30 per person.

22/01/2024: Leggo recensioni che si lamentano perché i piatti sono a base di pesce surgelato ma con un prezzo medio di 13€ per un primo pretendono anche che sia pesce fresco? Portate il panino da casa che è meglio. Io vado spesso con mio marito e mi sono sempre trovata bene,personale gentile,piatti gustosi, porzioni abbondante,vista mozzafiato quasi i piedi nell'acqua e uno dei pochi bagni aperto anche d'inverno,cosa vogliamo di più!

05/02/2024: Small but welcoming restaurant and the lady who served us was really very kind. We had a tuna carpaccio with stracciatella, mint and lime as an appetizer and as a main course spaghetti with clams and seared tuna with chopped pistachios accompanied by baked potatoes and caramelized onion. All very good! I recommend trying the starter... Truly top!!

30/11/2023: Trovandomi in vacanza in questo paese ho avuto occasione di cenare in questo ristorante, il cibo è un livello medio basso, ma la cosa peggiore e' il titolare che, forse essendo agosto non ha più la minima voglia di lavorare. Tempi di attesa biblici e risposte svogliate.

23/05/2024: Hotel manager was perfect. Very obliging. All extra requests were implemented without any problems and nicely. Garage for the motorcycles provided without asking. Always this one hotel. Cheap food cooked with love was simply outstanding.

20/05/2024: All perfect. Excellent fish dishes. Homemade pasta such as the exceptional spaghetti alla guitar with sea urchin. Not least fregola and raw sea bass.... we will return for the raw seafood.

11/05/2024: The last evening of our vacation was rounded off with very good food, a great location and very friendly and funny service. The quality of the products and the preparation were really great and we can only recommend it to everyone.

14/10/2023: Passing through on the way to Rossano. Five stars for the pizza (electric oven cooking) and for the low cost. The only complaint I could make is that the staff don't seem to really want to be there. However, every time I find myself in Castiglione I come here and it's a guarantee. Peculiarity is that there are various choices of pizza, even quite unusual ones.

05/11/2023: Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel und tolles Restaurant mit einem hervorragenden Service. Ich habe mich die zwei Tage dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein schönes und ruhiges Zimmer mit herrlichem Blick in die Hügel. Ich war beide Abende dort zum Essen – super Küche. Typisch toskanisch. Es war hervorragend und ich kann es nur empfehlen. Und der Service überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich komme gerne wieder.
