25/09/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance thanks to a detour from the highway... Fantastic! Super friendly owners, divine food 😋😋 The potato tortelli with lampredotto sauce were excellent, as was the sweet schiacciata with cream that was calling to me from the display case 😋😋 Too bad I couldn't wash it all down with a good wine because I had to get back on the road 🚘

19/10/2025: Lunch with friends, the food was delicious and the service excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our requests. We had three pregnant women, and they were very helpful in accommodating their requests. The Florentine steak was delicious, as were the other dishes. Recommended!

16/01/2026: It's true that booking is difficult, it's always full, and it doesn't accept groups larger than—I think—8-10 people, but I would never dream of penalizing them for this, especially since they apologize profusely every time. Even when they receive compliments from all of us, it's as if it were the first time in a long time (and they receive compliments all the time), and this gives so much value to the individual customer. You can eat very well, but if the human connection is missing, an excellent place is worthless to me. I believe the potato tortelli are the best in all of Mugello, the cured meats are high-quality, often a sore point in even good restaurants, the raw materials are generally high-quality, even the meat in the main courses, all delicious, and the price is excellent. Nice people, excellent restaurant.

28/12/2025: Just left the restaurant. The experience was excellent. The staff were kind and welcoming. The best Florentine steak I've ever eaten (2.2kg). The appetizers were also excellent.

Excellent bruschetta, delicious dishes, and the tagliata steak was the absolute star of the evening: tender and perfectly cooked. A truly excellent dinner in every way. We'll definitely be back!

07/01/2026: The restaurant is always busy and offers good value. We tried the pappardelle with wild boar (excellent), the tagliata with truffle (the meat was good, but the truffle was completely tasteless), and finally the tiramisu with cantucci (heavenly).

09/11/2025: We spent a weekend in Barberino yesterday after reading a lot of positive reviews, and we can only confirm them! A typical restaurant with local products. We had a delicious Florentine steak accompanied by salad, tomatoes, and delicious buttered spinach!!! The hostess is incredibly kind, she makes you feel right at home!! The cantucci biscuits are also excellent!! We'll be back!

04/01/2026: We had dinner this evening for four of us with excellent pizzas, including the Cesco (pictured, without mozzarella, in my opinion). Very thin and delicious pizza. Excellent menu to suit all palates. The restaurant is mostly concentrated in a single room with a hut-shaped roof, hence the name, with a huge fireplace in the center, plus two outdoor verandas. The service staff is all female and friendly. The restaurant is also a restaurant.

04/09/2025: We stayed 5 nights. What can I say? Excellent hospitality, super cleanliness, and a fantastic breakfast with freshly baked cakes. Ideal location for a totally relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. Highly recommended.

20/11/2025: Group experience. We ate everything, from appetizers to side dishes, first courses, and second courses. Everything was very good, but I expected better. It didn't seem like a place where you could sample typical Bolognese dishes. Too "normal." The host is a great guy. He knows his stuff. The place is reminiscent of old-fashioned shops. The quality is good.
