Cozy place, family atmosphere, super friendly service.
Quality food, without too many frills but enjoyable, beautifully loaded dishes, perfect especially for those who work.
Truly perfect lunch spot for a quick but quality break
I will definitely go back

19/01/2025: Locale piccolo, accogliente, consistente, arredato con gusto, pavimento e corredo in legno notevoli. Qualità assicurata, menu non tanto lungo (come è giusto che sia), tortelli mugellani approvatissimi, fatti in casa e con amore, ragù toscano e di cinghiale come si deve, belli saporiti, non stucchevoli e unti al punto giusto. Molto gradevole la proprietaria (?) e molto bravo e carino il cameriere 😊 (sono libero se vuoi 😝)

16/02/2025: Historic venue with rustic furnishings, excellent hospitality and service. Parking in front of the restaurant. Typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine, excellent raw materials. We enjoyed potato tortelli with rooster sauce, artichoke tagliatelle and bacon. tortelli with cheese and pepper, sliced with lard, peposo and livers. For dessert, zuccotto and tiramisu. Adequate value for money. Book in advance. Always full. We recommend it without a doubt
07/02/2025: Excellent experience. Typical trattoria with kind, attentive but never intrusive service. Exceptional Fiorentina and stratospheric first courses (the duck pappardelle are definitely worth trying). Highly recommended.

09/02/2025: Cibo davvero eccellente. Abbiamo mangiato la Bistecca di Angus, i taglieri, la Ribollita e i tortelli che mi sono fatto fare al ragù di cinghiale (particolarmente buoni). Tutto eccellente. Servizio veloce e disponibile. Prezzo centrato per la qualità offerta. Attenzione alle porzioni perché sono abbondanti. Unico neo per me l'illuminazione della sala che è eccessiva e non crea l'atmosfera che meriterebbe il resto. Utilissimo il braciere al tavolo per tenere in caldo la ciccia.
02/02/2025: PESSIMO! durante il viaggio ci siamo fermati in questo posto vedendo stelle e recensioni alte, SONO CELIACA ho chiesto uno spaghetto con carne di ragù senza glutine (mi avevano detto di avere spaghetti senza glutine) , ma sono stata malissimo ho vomitato più di 10 volte gli spaghetti INTERI, sono andata al pronto soccorso ed avevo ingerito pasta con il glutine! UNO SCHIFO, le persone si sentono male!!!

12/01/2025: Finally a real Tuscan restaurant. Family run. Greeted by a very kind lady with a wonderful Tuscan accent, I immediately felt at ease and in a true Tuscan restaurant in every sense. The fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms and sausage was excellent not to mention the exquisite Florentine pasta. I WILL BE BACK FOR SURE

20/01/2025: Piatti veramente ottimi, tagliolini al tartufo strepitosi , fiorentina morbida ,locale rustico molto accogliente, ragazza che ci ha servito molta carina e gentile, non do 5 perché il locale era leggermente freddino anche se ci siamo seduti vicino ad una stufa.
Comunque da tenere in considerazione 👌

02/02/2025: Conosco il ristorante da tempo e ci avevo già mangiato alcune volte e con grande soddisfazione.
Non so cosa sia successo, forse è cambiata gestione? Hanno diviso tra l'altro zona pizza e zona ristorante; avrei chiesto alla cameriera se fosse comunque possibile vedere entrambi i menù, ma fin da subito si è mostrata sbrigativa e poco cortese e così ha continuato durante la cena. Anche il servizio al tavolo scadente.
Il pane era vecchio e per niente buono. Le verdure e le patate insipide, scotte e sembravano riscaldate.
La carne del peposo non sarebbe stata male, ma affogava nell'olio ed era parecchio grassa.
Abbiamo preferito non ordinare il dolce.
I prezzi sono abbastanza alti e lo sapevamo, ma un tempo lo era anche la qualità.
Peccato, perché il posto mi piaceva.

31/07/2024: Peace and quiet, an ideal place to relax with friends. A beautifully located house on the sidelines with a lavender field that smells beautiful in the evenings. By car, there are plenty of places to explore Tuscany within an hour. Very nice ladies running this place. The house is clean and well-equipped. We definitely recommend it

28/11/2024: We stayed there for 1 night at the beginning of November 2024 as we were on a stopover trip. I had booked the room in advance by email in Italian (you want to be polite and Google translate makes it possible) and we wanted to stay there again on our return journey (see below for what happened next). I had also reserved in advance. The room was okay (quite spartan), the bed was comfortable, but that was it. The location was in the countryside, but I know of nicer surroundings in the countryside. It may be that it works differently in summer. Since we only stayed 1 night, it didn't matter. Communication with the owners was very difficult as no one could speak a word of English. My few words of Italian were just enough. Dinner was okay, but nothing special. The breakfast was not designed for international guests. You had the choice between "sweet" and "salty": if you chose "sweet" you got 3 pieces of cake. Salty consisted of a ham/salami plate with a very small piece of cheese and white bread. Only when asked was a piece of butter added. No honey, no ricotta, no jam - nothing. One could almost assume that international guests either didn't come here or that the owners simply didn't care. I don't know what the great Tripadvisor reviews are for...
Nothing came of the second night on our return journey because they had "forgotten" us! When we arrived at around 6:30 p.m. everything was dark. When I called, I tried to explain it to her with my few words of Italian. Then she probably remembered - and she just hung up!! To date there has been no apology! Nothing like this has really ever happened to me - unbelievable!
15/11/2024: The starters are good, fresh therefore the ricotta is excellent. The homemade pasta well made, we took a trio of first courses. The ricotta and spinach ravioli and the wild boar ribbons are excellent. They had forgotten to put the sauce in the potato tortelli, they were made with red oil. First flaw. We took the mixed roast as a second course: the rosticciana and sausage were good, while the sliced meat was inedible due to how tough it was. The wine was almost gone, it gave heartburn.
For the lunch it was, the bill was too high. For that price I ate and drank much better elsewhere.
