22/08/2025: We stopped by chance. The owner, Mr. "i'benzina," is a down-to-earth guy who always puts a smile on your face and offers home-cooked food at a fair price. We'll be back.

17/08/2025: Family owned sandwich shopped that we chose based on vicinity near outlet shops and reviews. The experience more than exceeded expectations. To start; welcomed very warmly and as we were with 10 persons, quickly arranged seating for us. Very friendly owners. The owner showed us their offerings for the day. From fresh pasta, to their potato dumplings and porchetta. We went with a mix of dishes. But the ones truly exceptional were the flatbread sandwiches with porchetta and with lampredotto (organ meat). These were on par or possibly better than the world famous antico vinaio sandwiches in the city. Also the lampredotto with tagliatelle was special! Rest was decent. But just for these 3 I would truly recommend a visit and find out yourself. Only drawback, if you can call it that, is that they are not cheap, options vary from 10-20 euro. But certainly worth it!

04/08/2025: The best hamburger ever! With a bonus: truffles. Excellent address! An impromptu stop on our route led us to a charming little restaurant, far from the main roads. A warm welcome and tasty cuisine. It certainly has its regulars, so make a gourmet stop here without hesitation.

23/08/2025: The best pizza ever. Beautiful appearance, airy dough, excellent maturation and leavening, carefully prepared, it cuts perfectly and is NOT rubbery, with quality products, both flour and toppings. Truly the best pizza I've ever eaten. Very friendly staff.

17/08/2025: A trattoria with a simple, family-friendly atmosphere, where the quality of the ingredients and the dedication to traditional cuisine are what really stand out. The dishes are authentic, generous, and carefully prepared, unfussy yet rich in authentic flavor. The homemade cured meats and pasta dishes are excellent, as are the traditional desserts. Prices are fair and in line with the offerings. The service, however, is a bit distracted and slow, and doesn't do justice to the quality of the food.

14/08/2025: Lunch in a typical Tuscan trattoria. Delicious cured meats, homemade pasta, and quality meat. Truly excellent value and generous portions. The only downside was the heat since we ate outside, but highly recommended nonetheless.

10/08/2025: We stopped by while touring Italy, and this place is a true gem! The cuisine is traditional and authentic, with handmade pasta, locally-sourced meat and self-produced fruits and vegetables. Every dish we tried was delicious (trust me, I was born in Florence!). Antonella gave us a warm and welcoming vibe. She was attentive and funny. The atmosphere has traditional charm and modern touches. If you’re looking for top-notch Tuscan cuisine and service, this is the spot. We can’t wait to return!

17/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch, a very welcoming and clean location, excellent service with friendly and helpful staff. The seafood menu was truly delicious, with a warm seafood appetizer: black tortelli stuffed with grouper in a shrimp ragù (delicious), and the crispy, dry fried fish with a lovely variety. The prices were reasonable, especially considering it was Santa Maria. Highly recommended.

03/09/2025: Even though it's located right off the highway, you can't say it's a restaurant for drivers. The prices aren't that high. We ordered tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, tagliatelle with wild boar pappardelle, and a side of vegetables. Everything was good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and well-kept.

02/09/2025: On our way back from Varese, we were looking for a place near the highway to stop for lunch. This osteria is located right at the Mugello exit. There's ample parking and the place is quite spacious. We happened upon it on a Saturday, and there were people waiting outside, but the line moved quickly. The first courses and appetizers were exceptional. The tiramisu with cantucci was fantastic.

03/09/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria Capanna Bianca is undoubtedly a wonderful discovery, a fine establishment where we stopped last Sunday on our way back from our hike on Mount Ortigara ⛰️. Arriving there at around 8:15 pm 🕣, we entered and immediately asked a waitress if there was room for four people; within a few minutes, we were then escorted to a free table on the right in a sort of circular windowed portico/corridor 🪟 (this space is unique and welcoming). After a quick glance 👀 at the menu 📋, complete with various recipes from the mountain food and wine tradition, we opted for a first course (macaroni with smoked scamorza fondue and speck) and three second courses (Angus steak 🥩 with arugula/shaved parmesan/balsamic vinegar glaze and two unique dishes based on Tosella from the "Caseificio Pennar" with mixed mushrooms, grilled sopressa and polenta). To complete the order, we also ordered two portions of French fries, two bottles of water 💧, a beer 🍺, two glasses of wine (one white and the other Valpolicella 🍷) and, to finish the meal, two coffees ☕️ and an orzo. Everything was really delicious 😋 and served promptly by the kind staff. Definitely a good value. The structure's appearance is distinctive, resembling a large hut (hence the name), with a large, rounded interior hall surrounded by the aforementioned windowed portico. Of particular note is the beautiful fireplace located in the center of the main hall. In addition to a few parking spaces near the entrance, there is also a decent parking area in the field to the side of the structure. We liked it, so we highly recommend it. 30/08/2025: Despite the large number of customers, the service was always efficient, with no unusual waits. I had thin-crust pizza, which was very well cooked.

01/07/2025: Excellent farmhouse very well kept by 2 very nice sisters and above all they make amazing cakes..... Use of the swimming pool without limitations...... But above all under the Passo della Futa..... Recommended
