29/03/2024: Service was good as was the wine and Caesar salad. The taglatelli with mushrooms and the cod and pumpkin ravioli were terrible. Would not eat here again. Overpriced.

03/12/2023: As soon as we got off the ferry we stopped for something to eat. We had mussels marinara and risotto marinara. The prices are a little high but the fish is fresh and the dishes are excellently prepared, very tasty and the portions are quite generous. The staff is very kind and helpful.

16/08/2023: Da 3 anni vengo spesso qui a trovare amici clienti di bagno. Pranziamo sempre sulla terrazza vi si a mare e prendiamo la schiacciatina, assaggiata in vari gusti penso seriamente che sia come impasto uno delle più Buone che ci siano nella zona! Sempre un piacere tornare qui. A presto ♥️ consigliatissimo

21/11/2024: Rimango molto dispiaciuto di non poter essere venuto in questo locale in quanto avendo ricevuto un regalo Smartbox al momento della prenotazione vengo informato che questo tipo di pacchetto loro non lo supportano! Non so quale sia stato il disguido ma dal momento che un locale aderisce ad iniziative tipo Smartbox devono anche tutelarsi che queste abbiano un esito!

10/08/2024: 2 keer hier gegeten. Eerste keer vlees, 2e keer pizza. Beide keuzes zeer goed bevallen. Ontspannen sfeer, goed eten, ruim terras. Alles top

07/05/2025: Cadre très élégant et chaleureux, accueil d’une grande gentillesse et cuisine savoureuse (pâtes à la truffe excellentes et le vrai baba au rhum!), une adresse à recommander !

30/04/2025: Sono stata a cene insieme a delle amiche. Abbiamo preso il menu degustazione da 5 portate, esperienza a tutto tondo, dalla spegazione dei piatti all'abbinamento del vino siamo state guidate sapientemente dal personale, che è stato gentile, educato ed anche molto simpatico. Bilancio più che positivo della cena dalla quale siamo uscite piene e supersoddisfatte.

19/04/2025: El mejor bocadillo de Siena si te gusta la carne. El propietario es muy amable y sabe lo que necesita. Él nos dio un montón de piezas diferentes para elegir y luego nos recomendó el bocadillo de cerdo adecuado. Después de que nos dio una muestra de muchos tipos diferentes de carne.

30/03/2025: Lleno de absolutamente deliciosos dulces italianos genuinos. Durante todo el día, desde el desayuno hasta la cena, comida que se puede comer sobre la marcha. Charcutería, queso, panes y vino, así como otros platos típicos. Un último consejo - NO te pierdas la Torta Rustica.

15/09/2024: It is an excellent place for a quiet holiday: right on the sea, very normal prices, full board includes a place on the beach with deckchairs and umbrella. The food is good and the rooms are small but clean.

07/09/2024: We stayed the week of August, we had a very good time. Very quiet place, isolated from the center of Marina di Grosseto but which can be reached in 5 minutes with the bicycles provided by the hotel. The food is excellent and to accompany the dishes offered by the hotel there is a vast buffet of vegetables and fruit. The beach is adjacent to the hotel and in 3 minutes you are at the seaside. An excellent holiday for those who love to relax and unplug.

07/06/2025: Full disclaimer, we had our wedding there and it was perfect. The place is beautiful, the ground staff is great. The problem is the the manager Matteo, he’s very sketchy and not to be trusted. It’s a nice venue, but there are many nice venues in the region. So I would suggest you to stay away. They would go out of their way to lie and take your money. Things to look out for if you already booked with them: 1. Do not order room service, or champagne, or any kind of food or beverage to the rooms, they will charge you “service fee” of €20 per person. We ordered a bottle of champagne for 6 people. And ON TOP of the cost of the bottle (€200) they charged us €120 for this “fee”. You can just go to the restaurant, order it and bring it to your room by yourself . Or eat/drink at the restaurant. 2. They will make up fake items just to charge you. For example, they charged us €600 additionally to hire some chairs for the wedding ceremony even though they used the same chairs from dinner just repurposed them. Watch out for this make sure you don’t pay them more than what you should. As they will lie about giving you a refund but then would ignore your calls and emails to avoid paying. 3. They have many rigid rules, and do not allow any external caterers. Only there in house catering team. Therefore they are monopoly on price and will be a lot more expensive with very limited menu/offering. ——— Update in Feb 2025: I’ve been informed that Matteo has been fired from Villa Mangiacane, which is a very good decision of the owner/management. Hopefully the new manager is decent to do justice for such beautiful and magical venue.
