24/07/2025: The food is okay, nothing special, but the service is completely awful. While we were looking for a quick dinner, we stumbled upon this place online. We thought it was a restaurant based on Google's listing, but it turned out to be more of a nightclub/bar. They seated us without telling us it was the night with the DJ set, so after they served our food, we found ourselves stuck eating with horrible music blasting in our ears. We politely asked if they could turn the volume down a bit, since we were all uncomfortable and couldn't even hear each other at the table, but they told us they couldn't because Wednesday is the night of the DJ set. So, they'd rather make our ears bleed than reduce the infernal mess, which would have been enjoyable for the kids even if they'd turned the volume down a bit. We asked for the bill immediately while the waitress cleared the table and ran away, but after more than 20 interminable minutes, I had to go get it because the girl had disappeared. When I pointed out that no one had warned us the music would be that loud, she replied, "Well, we can't say everything. The console was set up anyway," looking at me like I was the idiot. Of course, because two adults walking in with a couple in their sixties asking for a table to eat must have come to hear the Montecatini DJ set by the kid who thinks he's the new David Guetta... how could I not think of that!! I'm convinced they didn't warn us in bad faith, and I bitterly regretted stopping by. Besides the poor service, I found the way they treat customers shameful. They ruined our evening, and we'll never set foot there again. There are much better places to dine in Montecatini.

21/07/2025: We tried this place on our first night in Montecatini and absolutely loved it. The charcuterie plate was legendary. The cheeses were delicious, and the desserts, especially the tiramisu, were fantastic. The friendly and helpful staff, and the prices were so reasonable, we decided to return in the coming days.

19/07/2025: An hour's wait for three identical first courses, justified with the excuse of "paccheri take a long time to cook." €20 for a pasta dish with tomato sauce is a bit steep. Ditto the desserts, which aren't up to the price. But that's just my humble opinion. Amazing place.

09/08/2025: We had two wonderful weeks here this year! The family is friendly and always willing to do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The pool is lovely and clean, and the apartment is spacious and clean.

23/07/2025: Una piacevole sorpresa dal sapore vintage – Le Capanelle Ieri sera siamo stati a cena al ristorante Le Capanelle e l’esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. Il locale ha un fascino tutto suo, un po’ vintage, che ricorda quei ristoranti degli anni Ottanta: semplice, accogliente e con un’atmosfera familiare che ci è piaciuta subito. Siamo stati accolti con molta gentilezza e fatti accomodare nel cortile interno, davvero carino, tranquillo e curato. L’ambiente evoca un senso di nostalgia, ma in senso positivo: sembra di fare un piccolo salto nel tempo. Il servizio è stato veloce ed efficiente: dopo aver ordinato gli antipasti, le pizze sono arrivate in un lampo. Io ho preso una pizza con salsiccia e salame. Devo ammettere che all’inizio sono rimasto un po’ sorpreso: era sottilissima, cosa che di solito non è proprio di mio gusto. Ma al primo morso tutto è cambiato: croccante al punto giusto, sapori ben equilibrati, e quel profumo irresistibile di forno a legna che fa la differenza. Anche il conto è stato una piacevolissima sorpresa: il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo, soprattutto considerando il servizio cordiale e la bontà dei piatti. In sintesi, Le Capanelle è un posto che merita: per l’atmosfera, per la cortesia e, soprattutto, per la pizza. Torneremo volentieri!

25/07/2025: Deze zaak is volledig veranderd en serveert geen pizza's meer. Het is nu een enoteca en niet geschikt voor kinderen. Dit hadden ze wel even mogen aanpassen op Google en hier op Tripadvisor.

23/06/2025: The pistachio croissants are a must, very, very delicious. I would go back because I haven't tried the orange one yet. If you're Latino, you'll think the waiters are very serious, and yes, they're serious but friendly and quick to answer your questions. You order, get what you ordered, and sit down to enjoy the croissants with an espresso, period.

10/08/2025: Neat and clean, but somewhat dated apartments. The pool is surprisingly good (and large) and also has a children's pool. The reception is extremely friendly. From the park, you can easily make day trips to San Vincenzo, Piombino (for Elba), Suvereto, Bolgheri, and more, and the coast and beach are just 20 minutes away.

10/08/2025: Excellent location, green area with plenty of space. Very nice common areas, especially the huge pool and the loungers in the adjacent garden. Ample parking is available, although I would have added more plants. The staff is courteous and ready to respond during the day to simple reports via WhatsApp. Apartments with ample space, except for the kitchenette. Dated structure in need of maintenance, including exterior and interior painting, although some buildings have been done, repairs to toilet drains and outdoor fountain pipes. Poor soundproofing between apartments. I was in a very remote apartment, so the WiFi, which is only available in the common areas, was non-existent. This was a major problem because the cell phone signal is almost completely absent, making us unreachable at night. I truly don't understand why this problem couldn't be resolved given the lack of signal. The kitchenette was uncomfortable, small, dark, with old stovetops and very few accessories. The sofa bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The massive infestation of mosquitoes was resolved by stopping by the nearby Conad supermarket, which was fortunately still open, and purchasing indoor and outdoor mosquito repellent. In a place like this, I expect pest control to be provided, or for the front desk to be able to provide remedies directly. The interior walls are full of squashed mosquitoes.

20/07/2025: Scoperto anni fa sulla strada che collega Montalcino e Pienza…terrazza sulla splendida campagna della val d’orcia…è diventato un luogo del cuore per la pace, il paesaggio ma soprattutto l’ottima cucina. La Val d’Orcia merita ogni anno almeno un weekend ed ogni anno noi estatici ammiratori della natura meritiamo una sosta dalle sorelle di Boccon Divino!

07/07/2025: Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich und man sollte ihn sich wirklich nicht entgehen lassen. Das Menü lass sich vielversprechend (aber mühsam) auf dem Handy! (für mich ein No-Go in dieser Preisklasse, aber das empfindet jeder anders) Wir entschieden uns gegen das Menü und bestellten nur 2 Gänge. Die waren wirklich sehr gut. Man müsste meinen, dass man das alles mit 5 Punkten bewertet müsste. Leider fühlten wir uns jedoch nicht wirklich wohl. Die Atmosphäre war uns zu abgehoben - irgendwie steif und blutleer. Hinzu kommt: ich hasse Jazz als Hintergrundmusik beim Essen. Aber, wie gesagt - das ist Geschmacksache. Uns hat es nicht so gefallen. Daher 1 Punkt weniger. Werden wohl nicht wieder kommen. Zusammenfassung: Aussicht unglaublich, Essen sehr gut (wenn auch etwas teuerer), Atmosphäre sicherlich toll für jemanden, der etwas Cici toll findet.
