14/06/2025: We were there a few days ago as a couple – the view over the Arno Valley is stunning, the property is immaculately maintained, and the overall complex is very stylish. My personal impression lies somewhere between "very good" and "outstanding (4–4.7/5)" – but I still give it five stars.

10/06/2025: After a walk around Montepulciano ended up at this restaurant. In retrospect an exceptionally good choice. On the advice of the extremely professional waiter, I tried a local wine that perfectly matched the taste I described that I like. In addition, it also went well with the dish I chose. I had the sea bass and my girlfriend the pasta carbonara. These were both exceptionally tasty, really enjoyed the food. Relieved with a delicious dessert, these were also incredibly tasty. The only thing I had to note was that you could not give a tip via the pin (which I would have liked to do, hence this extensive positive review). Highly recommended! I would eat there again in a heartbeat.

09/06/2025: We were here with 13 friends in June 2025. It was a wonderful evening with delicious food. We had a reservation (you should). The owners only speak Italian, but it worked out :) There's no menu. Our waitress, Greta, told us what was on offer that evening, and we tried everything (various ravioli, steak, pork, dessert... all delicious, of excellent quality, and homemade). Greta speaks English. Thank you, Greta, for the great service. If you're expecting white tablecloths and Instagram-worthy images, you've come to the wrong place. Everything was very authentic, with friendly service. We'll be back!

01/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la cresima di mio figlio in questo posto magnifico. Cibo ottimo e torta strepitosa realizzata da Stefania con passione e dedizione per questo lavoro. Ravioli, tortelli e carne buonissima. Gentilezza del personale e professionalità. Consiglio a tutti questo posto per staccare la spina e rilassarsi sotto la pergola godendosi lo splendido panorama delle colline Mugellane. Ultima cosa qualità prezzo eccezionale. Sicuramente ci vedremo spesso!

21/06/2025: we understood why the restaurant is called du palle. they basically made our table fall over… all thanks to a dragon who kept exclaiming “arivo! arivo!” with a beard and a tail. one sandwich already had a bite, not to mention the plates thrown by the elves. but come on, the food was decent (despite arriving 3 hours late)

08/06/2025: Tuvimos un almuerzo agradable y tranquilo después de una fabulosa visita al spa termal. Probamos el tortelli con ricota y espinaca. Fue una porción justa y sabrosa. Esperábamos poco tiempo para nuestra comida, ya que llegamos en el momento justo. A la hora de la cena, tal vez sea una buena idea hacer una reserva.

06/07/2025: The place is a bit chaotic and very noisy, but we ate an excellent pizza and appetizers (vegetarian crostini and caciucco di moscardini) of excellent taste. The service was good but very kind. For the food it would be 5 stars, also considering the price level. There is a room dedicated to parties beyond the dining room, so we saw a frequent crossing next to our table, but without major problems.

30/04/2025: We have just been there for a break, we ate a lot and well, spending only €26 for two, being used to northern Italy I was moved.

11/07/2025: Dinner with friends, excellent product quality, equally high-quality cuisine and presentation. The downside is the small portion sizes for both starters and main courses, as well as desserts. You could count the gnocchi at first glance, the meat cuts were thin strips, the side dishes are small portions, such as the spinach, you could count the leaves. The wine by the glass was in short supply and at a truly excessive price given the very average quality. The desserts were also small portions with customization of the preparation that has nothing to do with the original, such as tiramisu. Let's say it's a classic tourist restaurant but has little to do with real Tuscan or Italian cuisine. The older waiter was very good and professional.

09/07/2025: We had an unforgettable lunch at Osteria La Taverna di San Giuseppe. The cannelloni with veal and truffle was exceptional, rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also had the carbonara, which was equally impressive, creamy, perfectly balanced, and deeply satisfying. The setting is cozy and full of charm, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. A perfect spot for a memorable meal in Siena — definitely worth a reservation!
