21/09/2025: I've been to this fantastic pastry shop twice, both on arrival and departure from the airport. Sublime arancini at a fair price (€1.80). I tried the artichokes, ragù, speck, and pistachio. All delicious, crunchy, and beautifully filled. The Genovese cream was an A+. Fast, friendly, and always with a smile.

09/09/2025: Nicasio is the best He's the only one in all of Trapani who knows how to make truly good arancini, there's no comparison.

20/09/2025: Where do I begin? Pure horror from top to bottom. (We haven't even gotten our food yet.) Two full moons had already passed before we finally got a menu. The slick-faced waiter gave us a reproachful look when we didn't want to order ANY wine. When we finally got a menu and were shocked to discover that there were no meat-free dishes, I decided, with a heavy conscience, to order two side dishes (again, with a reproachful look from the waiter). I've been waiting for my two side dishes for 45 minutes now 🤘 The rest is up in the air. PS: The food arrived after we'd already made our way to the restroom a few times, which was nicer than the ambiance in the entire restaurant. The side dish simply arrived after the main course, or rather, one of the side dishes never actually made its way out of the kitchen!! The burger was okay. My plea to everyone: if your stomachs are already rumbling and you have a hungry lady with you, I would advise against visiting this place. Otherwise, it's fine. But the city is beautiful, and there are plenty of other good restaurants 😉

03/10/2025: A place in Marsala where you can try a variety of traditional and non-traditional dishes. Even though it's October, it's crowded, so you need to be patient. The couscous is delicious, and the parmigiana is excellent. Eat well for a reasonable price.

09/10/2025: Excellent food, truly delicious, refined cuisine with unique dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Excellent wine list. If you're in the Trapani area, you absolutely must visit this restaurant in Paceco. It's a shame the service was so sloppy. They excused themselves by saying they were having a staffing emergency. However, the kindness never wavered.

22/09/2025: A place where tradition reigns supreme, excellent food, few frills in presentation but plenty of substance... I travel often and enjoy local food and drink, and here they satisfied my desire... The service was excellent and super fast, the bill was excellent... here the flavors and Trapani food are not overlooked, highly recommended.

21/09/2025: Disappointment despite good reviews – beware! We recently visited a seafood restaurant in Marsala, drawn by the many positive reviews we'd read online. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. Once we arrived, we were surprised to notice that all the fish dishes on the menu had an asterisk, indicating frozen products. Considering that we're in a seaside town and that the restaurant bills itself as a "seafood" restaurant, we expected a completely different quality, perhaps with at least some fresh fish of the day. This detail hadn't been mentioned in any of the reviews we'd read, and it's only right that those looking for a true local seafood experience be aware of it. The service was courteous and the restaurant was nice, but the quality of the ingredients doesn't justify the rave reviews we'd read online. I advise readers to be wary of overly enthusiastic reviews and do their research before choosing, especially if you're looking for fresh seafood.

09/10/2025: A truly magical atmosphere envelops this special corner of the island of Favignana: the sunset here is spectacular! You can sit outside in well-kept and simple spaces, harmoniously integrated with the surrounding nature. A generous aperitif with local specialties. An experience not to be missed!

23/09/2025: Don't leave Favignana without enjoying a sunset aperitivo at this magical spot! A wide selection of food and drinks, typical local flavors and products, friendly service...and a truly fabulous setting! (No reservations required; just sit back and enjoy the view.)

10/10/2025: We went to the place at around 21:40 the restaurant was more then half empty and asked if we could sit and have a drink. The waitress said "this is restaurant" and walked off... So we went to NELE taste of Sicily which is also a restaurant with a lovely view. It seems Capuona Taverna di Sicilia is lacking friendly, welcoming staff. After few drinks we became peckish so we ordered some food at NELE.

27/09/2025: Some of the food was okay, some was very good. However, two out of four people felt a little "sick" after dinner. But that can happen. It also seemed as if the service was very discriminatory between locals and tourists. As Italians, you receive a warm welcome and advice, but as tourists we were treated more like an inconvenience. For the price I paid, I probably wouldn't go back.

07/10/2025: Without a doubt, and after a week in Sicily, this is the worst and most expensive restaurant we've ever had. The pasta, which they sold as fresh, I highly doubt was fresh. Expensive dishes. They also charged us €3.50 for a bottle of water we hadn't ordered, and they didn't serve it to us.

16/10/2025: I don't think I've ever written a bad review. Four people in the restaurant, and the waiter was disinterested, curt, and unfriendly. It's a shame. The advertised traditional salad actually consists of tomatoes. Soggy Sicilian pasta with frozen shrimp. I can't recommend the restaurant in any way.

30/09/2025: I chose this pastry shop for my last breakfast in Trapani, partly based on previous reviews. It was a wonderful breakfast... obviously because of the delicious pistachio bomb and the excellent American coffee served... but the sweetness and humility of the two owners even outweighed the goodness of the pistachio [which was superb!]... what a wonderful way to start the day!!! We need more people like you in the world!!! Thank you, Baristas! It was a pleasure stopping by this morning! And thank you for the ricotta dessert. P.S. I also really appreciated the vintage location... a typical pastry shop 💚

10/09/2025: Grumpy as hell He doesn't know what kindness or politeness is September. There's no one on the beach. It's a cloudy, windy day, almost raining. I ask for a simple, slightly warmed chocolate croissant. The first time, he pretends not to hear, and passes it to me cold. The second time, thinking he hadn't heard me, I politely ask if he can warm it up for me. He starts cursing, making hand gestures and muttering strange things, and then throws the plate in front of me on the counter. At this, I'm incredulous because I don't understand his problem. It was clear he was mad at me. I ask him if this kind of treatment is normal, because if he couldn't warm it up, he could just say so clearly and it would have been over with. He continues gesturing in vain, telling me that it's still warm in September and that croissants don't heat up. Is everything okay?

27/09/2025: Historic bar where you can try the best arancini in all of Trapani. They cost €0.40 more than almost all the others, but they're a cut above. They're coated in a thick breadcrumb coating and have a very flavorful sauce. I think the sausage makes them addictive! The cannoli are also exceptional.

16/09/2025: The arancini are excellent, the croccatini are excellent, and the ragù is excellent. I highly recommend them.
