01/09/2025: Unfortunately, this place isn't what it once was. Prices are now in line with tourist fare, losing the authenticity that set it apart from a simple street food stand. The magic of discovering a genuine place, far from the usual offerings of the city center's renowned restaurants, has vanished. A real shame, because it was truly special.

24/10/2025: The best service in Italy, and probably the first place where they speak English so well 🔥 Thanks to the waiter Diego, everything was delicious, precise, he took into account the guests' wishes and surprised us with traditional dishes, we will definitely be back! 👏

09/11/2025: We had the most incredible wedding at Baglio Aversa!! From the very first message, Giovanni and Mariangela at Baglio Aversa were nothing short of incredible. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process - they were responsive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible. Giovanni and Mariangela shared their trusted suppliers with us and helped coordinate every single detail of the wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to their careful planning and organisation. They truly went above and beyond, taking charge of everything so that we could just relax and enjoy the celebration. The venue itself is stunning - full of Sicilian charm and atmosphere - and the food was absolutely incredible. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was and how much they enjoyed themselves. What stood out most was the warmth and kindness of Giovanni and Mariangela. They poured their hearts into making sure our wedding was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or more wonderful hosts. 06/12/2025: We came here on the last night of our trip and it was delicious. Not the best pasta I had in Castellammare, but it was flavourful and huge portions with lots of seafood. The addition of curry in the ravioli sauce was unusual but it worked. The staff are very friendly - we ordered a carafe of wine and only had the thick stemmed water glasses. They were quick to bring us proper white wine glasses and were welcoming of our attempts at Italian! The outside area is on a slant which isn’t the most comfortable but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. I would come here again!

08/11/2025: In September, we dined at "La.maidda" a few evenings and had a wonderful time. The first and second courses were incredibly fresh fish. The tuna and pistachio steak was fantastic. The house wine was excellent. The price was reasonable for the dishes. Recommended!
