19/10/2025: Ended up here because of weather and other restaurants we want to go to were closed. The first red flag was the place was deserted at 8.30pm. The service was great but when you’re the only people in there could it be worse? Unfortunately the food lacked the quality based on the fact this place is rated 4.5 on Google. The mussels were actually good, the steak was covered in cheese that hid the fat that wasn’t rendered off unfortunately. But the low point was the salad….it was literally a bowl of lettuce and chopped tomatoes…nothing else. I try to see the best in every place I go to, but I was eating on the plane on the way home thinking my plane food was better and that’s just sad.

27/09/2025: Unfriendly waiter, mediocre food. The value for money is definitely not good! The young colleague on the stairs is the best in the place.

14/04/2026: We ordered the lasagna, and it must have been a disgrace. The outside was overcooked and burned, the inside was raw. The service was a bit slow and haphazard. The atmosphere was too classic and strange. IMPROVEMENT IS NEEDED.

14/04/2026: The place is decent, but the food is truly an insult to Italy. I had a lasagna, and the flaws were endless: too many layers of pasta, sometimes even raw.

26/03/2026: After placing our order, the wait for the pizzas was particularly long. After a considerable amount of time had passed without receiving our order, we asked the waiter about the condition of the pizzas. He told us that, since we hadn't ordered an appetizer, we would have to wait our turn like other customers. This explanation was given without much consideration for the inconvenience caused by the already prolonged wait. After about two hours, the pizzas were finally served. Of the four pizzas ordered, only two were properly prepared, while the others had clearly undercooked ingredients, making them inconsistent with our order. The dessert service was also unsatisfactory. The chocolate cakes arrived raw and cold inside. One of the desserts was sent back and later returned simply reheated, without a replacement. Even after this intervention, the problem was not resolved. On that occasion, the owner stated that the dessert couldn't be cold because the dish was warm, expressing disappointment rather than actually verifying the complaint or apologizing for the inconvenience. At the time of payment, the staff was unfriendly, referring rudely and inappropriately to the desserts not being included in the bill, and showing no concern for the overall negative experience. Overall, the experience was characterized by excessive wait times, obvious organizational shortcomings, and unprofessional, as well as rude, customer service. It was an experience that completely failed to meet our expectations.

22/02/2026: An elegant and well-maintained restaurant in the heart of the city, run by a family that has traditionally run the business. It also serves a pizzeria, so much so that they spend a lot of time doing takeout and home delivery. The fish-based first courses and meat-based second courses are also excellent. The appetizers are also worth trying, including the ever-popular panelle and bruschetta.

17/04/2026: 5 stars! Such a great environment with fantastic live music that creates the perfect vibe. The highlight of our night was the amazing attention from our waiter, Fabrizzio. He was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

15/04/2026: The pastries are excellent, and the servers are friendly. We had breakfast there every morning during our vacation and will gladly return 😁

08/02/2026: Last night we ate pizza at VITAMIA, but I have to be honest... we arrived with a reservation for the first sitting, so at 8:15 PM, and exactly an hour later, they politely kicked us out because the next customers from the second sitting had to be seated. I was honestly disappointed, and to this day I have to give this pizzeria very few stars. Decent service, but not very friendly towards the people working the cash register. The pizza was average. The gesture of turning customers away after 60 minutes was terrible.

01/02/2026: Saturday evening, the place was packed, guests were attending a birthday party. The first course seemed to be served quickly (to be precise, we had a hot mixed platter), and the staff was always very kind and friendly. But let's get to the pizzas; there were 20 of us. Half an hour after the appetizer was finished, the first six arrived, two of which were good, two completely charred, and two returned because they were the wrong ones. Another 10 minutes passed, and more arrived, all with the same problem: burned, leaving a bitter taste in the mouth. So, 20 diners, less than half ate, the rest didn't. At first bite, I tasted good-quality ingredients, but the whole thing was ruined by the completely burned base, not to mention the edges. I politely asked if it was possible to have another one, and was granted an offer, but to no avail. The pizza arrived worse than before. Poor hygiene in the place; kilometers of cobwebs, black as coal, were hanging from the roof. It's impossible not to see them. Obviously, I won't be returning. I understand that bottlenecks can happen during service, but hygiene is the foundation.

14/04/2026: Wonderful hotel structure, large parking lot, the hotel is a 3-star so some adjustments could be made. The mattress was very comfortable, the pillows were too low, and two were too high. Breakfast lacked savory options, which were replaced with small rolls that you might not like, lots of cakes, and pastries. But don't expect a Barbieri-style breakfast. We asked for freshly squeezed orange juice and there were no oranges! Out of three breakfasts, they managed to provide a mixed lemon juice. Bathrobes, even if you pay, are only given to the suites. I found the hotel noisy because late at night and early in the morning, there was a lot of noisy trolleys moving around, and hammering. We slept terribly! We were in the main building, rooms 104 and 106, and our sleep suffered. On vacation, you want relaxation and pampering. Overall, I'd say the quality-price ratio is consistent. Suggestion: I would maintain the lamps in the rooms near the bed, provide bathrobes for a fee, include a fresh savory breakfast, but above all, avoid noise at night/dawn.

09/04/2026: The place is definitely beautiful. Very evocative. The service is impeccable in a certain sense, but as a vegan, I've only had negative experiences. A place like this should be inclusive, meaning they should be able to cook for vegans too. I've been to weddings at La Favorita several times, and often they didn't even bring me appetizers. Once they did bring the appetizer, they fed me basically only vegetables. There wasn't a single meal with legumes, not even hummus or anything else made with legumes, tofu, or tempeh. It would take very little to cook a unique and tasty dish for a vegan. A person isn't obligated to eat meat, fish, or cheese, so you have to be prepared to cook different dishes as well. It's 2026, so get up to speed.

19/02/2026: Honestly, I was a little put off at first by the venue's lack of modernity, despite its great potential. However, the family-like welcome, the warmth of the fireplace, and the truly well-made and delicious pizzas changed my mind. I'm marking it down as one of my favorite places to return to.

12/11/2025: I was at Villa Martinez in Trapani. A shopkeeper recommended a pizzeria to me. We asked him about it. He said the pizza was good, easy to digest, and not too heavy. I went with a good heart. The place, or rather the villa, is a bit neglected. The tablecloths were old and a bit sticky. Plus, there was a bad smell of detergent used to clean the restrooms. I was already disappointed, but I really wanted to have dinner and try the pizza. We ordered a capricciosa and one with sausage, onion, and gorgonzola (my choice), plus a salad with iceberg mozzarella and corn, plus a slice of grilled swordfish. The food was good, the pizza was good, and the price, including half a beer, a Coke, and a 1-liter water with free coffee, was €62. The place needs to be fixed because it's uncomfortable, and the chairs were terrible and old. I'd like to give more stars, but I can't.

09/11/2025: I've had the opportunity to use La Cialoma's services several times, both privately and commercially. The food is good, with relatively well-crafted dishes, while the prices are significantly higher than the quality/price ratio. The service provided by the wait staff could be improved; it's a bit slow considering the price of the dishes. Meanwhile, the quality of service provided by the management, who should be setting an example, is quite lacking, if not nonexistent...and quite rude at times. It's a shame!

20/10/2025: We went on a monday night. We ordered two cocktails, bruschetta, shrimps, tuna steak and roasted potatoes and paid 90 euros. When we wanted to order, half of the stuff on the menu was missing. The cocktails were incredibly average with little alcohol. We got 2 types of bruschetta’s although the menu promised 3 types but at least they were good. My tuna steak was overcooked and full of bones. My girlfriend had shrimp which were 25 euros and she only got four. The only thing that was really good was the roasted potatoes. When we wanted to pay we had to wait for 15 minutes because all of the staff were ignoring us. Overall a bad experience.

23/01/2026: We came here at the end of january and it was one of few open places. We didnt read the reviews before coming in, but the owner was super nice and friendly, very little space inside. We ate arancinis, crepe and some kind of sandwich with coffee. Arancinis were good, 3.50eur each. Crepe and sandwinch were okay. It cost us 24eur so it was fine.

22/10/2025: The terrace with a view is spectacular. The hot chocolate is delicious. The desserts are varied and very good.

09/03/2026: Everything was delicious! Hearing the restaurateur's family stories was priceless!

04/03/2026: The restaurant had a relaxed, local vibe, a kind and attentive waiter, great pasta and excellent Sicilian wine. We had a great experience:)

03/03/2026: Very expensive for what it is. Sure, it tastes good, but €20 plus a €3 cover charge for a small plate of pasta with fish is highway robbery. The fish was barely visible. The service was very poor. We do not recommend it!

26/02/2026: I only had a cappuccino there, but I wasn't allowed to drink it on the terrace, which was completely empty. Since the sunny terrace was the main reason I went there, this was very disappointing and incomprehensible. After I left, the server sat down on the terrace herself. The coffee, however, was actually very good and reasonably priced for Erice (€2.50).
