11/01/2026: An experience inconsistent with the property's reputation. We stayed at La Favorita in Marsala as a three-person group, paying €252 for a weekend in January. We expected a level of service consistent with a property that bills itself as a winner of 4 Hotels and is known for its breakfasts. Precisely for this reason, breakfast was one of the biggest disappointments: the corner is very cute, but the offerings were very basic; we could only dream of the cassatas and cakes seen on the show. We found a simple Margherita cake, savory rolls, and no freshly squeezed juice or extracts, just classic industrial fruit juices full of additives, along with standard options like yogurt, croissants, puff pastry, and other packaged products. Nothing that lived up to the image of excellence portrayed on TV. The location of our accommodation was also unclear when booking. The deluxe bungalow, whose name alone suggests it was cozy and tasteful, was far from the main building and conveyed a sense of isolation and lack of context, rather than exclusivity. Inside, we found only the bare essentials: no winter comforts (no kettle or coffee maker), and Wi-Fi didn't work due to the distance from the main building. The overall atmosphere felt bare, unwelcoming, and poorly maintained. Given that the property was practically empty, it would have been natural to offer an upgrade, leaving the guest with a good memory of the place. Instead, the clear perception of a poor quality-price ratio remained. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend it.

02/01/2026: A wonderful stay! A wonderful property, lovingly cared for down to the last detail, where you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. Everything runs flawlessly, from the hospitality to the cleanliness. The food is excellent, and the work done in the kitchen and dining room deserves sincere applause. Special mention goes to the reception staff for their kindness and efficiency, to the manager, Mr. Luigi, for his helpfulness, and to the entire dining room team, who, even with large numbers, manage to make every guest feel cared for and pampered.

30/08/2025: Shameful experience – worth reporting We dined at Ristorante Pizzeria La Lampara for Ferragosto (9 people, including a child) and never expected such disorganization, poor quality, and above all, lack of hygiene. Disappointing first courses: the orecchiette with ragù was simply pasta with raw sauce and raw olive oil. The orecchiette with mussels, clams, scampi, and cherry tomatoes didn't even contain clams. Disgraceful second courses: instead of the "steak," they received two fragmented bones, pure waste. When I pointed this out, the response was that the steaks were sold out. Unacceptable for a €55 menu. Furthermore, we also found a hair in the fish main course (photo attached). Zero hygiene: the presence of hair on the plates is not only disrespectful to customers, but a serious health risk, worthy of intervention by the NAS. Poor appetizers: mozzarella as hard as chewing gum and a small square of omelette that looked freshly defrosted. Anonymous desserts and sorbets, absolutely not up to par. In total, we spent €55 each for a disgraceful menu with obvious health and hygiene risks. A terrible experience, never again. Honestly, given the severity of the situation, it would deserve a health inspection.

27/08/2025: I happened upon it by chance (without reading any reviews) for a quick lunch and had to send back two salads full of small animals, which unfortunately indicates poor hygiene, a very serious issue for a restaurant business. Only one young waiter apologized for the inconvenience. Failed for everything.

17/08/2025: What can I say, friends? The Faro Sea Club is the perfect location for those who want to be top-of-the-line... Pietro the concierge, a true Norman, but in the same vein as Lucio Dalla... top-notch dishes, the right staff. Excellent value for money. Fantastic seafood and dishes with the scent of the sea. It's worth it. Claudio, the exceptional lifeguard, is always ready and waiting, but he's always at his best. Excellent aperitifs. So... off we go, friends, and enjoy Sicily... lots of stuff... .

26/07/2025: We were drawn in for a quick aperitivo. The place is very chic, but the service was slow and inattentive. We were the only ones waiting, along with another couple, and we weren't served on time. Aperol and Campari Spritz were served in hard plastic cups and watered down. The price was too high.

01/01/2026: Frozen and raw pizza inedible then 450g of kebab that no one knows what it was and then all salad and 450g there was not a total of 150g inside and immediately I get looked at 👁 👁 🤷‍♂ as if I were a criminal I have no idea who I could be ☹️ just because I have signs of serious health problems on my face to place the order they lean on the chair as if I had them on🤷‍♂️ in short everything terrible I will never go there again next time I'll be happy to go and pay 20 euros more somewhere else that not there (never see you again)

19/01/2026: The food was excellent, but the experience was ruined by the bill: €95 for an aperitivo for three in October (a platter + two small beers + a glass of wine by the glass). The price, in my opinion, was disproportionate, and the wine by the glass had also gone bad. It's a shame, because the platter was worth it.

21/10/2025: AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! We were tempted to sit down, thinking we'd just enjoy a simple platter and drink wine, as it seemed like a very down-to-earth place. The surprise, however, was the incredibly high bill: two glasses of wine, a caponata (good, really), a platter of industrial sausages and cheeses, and a bottle of water cost €100—and I repeat, €100. Plastic plates and cutlery, and a truly grumpy owner. It's our fault we were caught like two tuna, but we should report it to Codacons. Think about the taxes he'll pay with that takings, and who knows if he'll pay them at all. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!
