04/01/2026: During our vacation in Sicily, we discovered this delightful restaurant-bistro on the Avola waterfront. The dishes are excellent, thanks to the fresh fish and top-quality ingredients selected by the charming chef Filippo. We had the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, as we returned twice more after our first dinner.
Excellent value for money.

31/05/2026: The evening was ruined by two problems. The less serious one was the very long wait between the appetizer (which was good) and the main course, which never arrived. After 45 minutes, we left. The second, more serious, problem was the rudeness with which they responded to our complaints. "Go to McDonald's..." Is this how you treat customers who want to spend an evening? Where's the professionalism?
The number of occupied tables cannot be an excuse for inadequate service. The rudeness also shows that they're doing the wrong thing.

17/05/2026: We ate well, the menu was varied, mainly featuring freshly caught fish of the day. The service was excellent, the prices reasonable, and the restaurant is very nice, having been converted from a former tuna processing warehouse.
17/05/2026: Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. The fresh fish appetizer, on the "cold" plate, contained smoked carpaccio and boiled shrimp. The hot plate, with fried mixed seafood and mussels, was better. The second course, Sicilian-style swordfish, was even better. Unfortunately, we ordered a bottle of white wine, and despite the heat and our repeated requests for an ice bucket to keep it chilled, it never arrived, leaving us with a €30 charge for a bottle to drink warm, even though there was no one there, just ours and a very few other tables! Truly disappointing service. Very poor value for money.

26/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, but we're grateful for the opportunity! The two brothers who served us are wonderful people, highly experienced and professional, and treated us with great courtesy. We ate wonderfully: excellent caponata, spaghetti allo scoglio, delicious tuna, good bread, and good wine. We tried the muddica pizza, which was also very good! And to finish, an excellent amaro made by the chef, delicious! We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it. It's a top-quality restaurant, serving the freshest fish, and featuring truly traditional, home-cooked cuisine.
21/05/2026: The professor advises you on what to eat fresh. Delicious dishes cooked according to grandma's recipes, including excellent spaghetti with squid ink. You'll feel like you're at your grandparents' house.

08/06/2026: I rarely leave reviews, more so bad ones. But this place served us spaghetti with frozen seafood (I consider a crime, especially when you have waterfront). Do not come here. The grilled seafood was also average at best.
02/06/2026: We've eaten here several times. The pizza is cooked on a real charcoal grill. Superb! The mussels in tomato sauce are also outstanding. We once tried half the menu. Delicious.
Atmosphere: very pleasant, not fancy, it's just a beach restaurant, and the staff is very friendly.

22/05/2026: We stayed at this agriturismo only one night (unfortunately), but we immediately fell in love with the place. Antonella and her husband, Enzo, are wonderful, genuine people who run their farm with passion. We also had the pleasure of tasting their own produce and that of neighboring farms, all expertly prepared by Antonella and served in a hearty, delicious breakfast. If you're looking for a genuine agritourism experience in one of the most beautiful areas of eastern Sicily, this agriturismo is perfect for you. I hope to relive the experience of staying in this area soon, meet Antonella and Enzo again, and have the privilege of enjoying their cuisine again. Thank you for your hospitality, and see you soon.
27/12/2025: An experience not to be repeated: few starters and nothing at all, only bread at will, desserts less than starters, frozen food and the embarrassment of advertising this place to my relatives.

27/04/2026: Naively, as tourists in Avola, we wanted to give this little-known town some credit, but we were deeply disappointed. Unfortunately, we stumbled upon this local bar that shamelessly mocked us. €18 for two Aperol Spritzes + €3 service charge: a complete rip-off.
Very low quality, and you had to pay for bagged chips. Never before. Clearly touristy treatment.
Not recommended.
05/03/2026: Hit and miss with this one… cappuccino’s great, food was ok, staff didn’t speak English a lot of English but we made it work. We spent most of our time outside on the terrace.

20/05/2026: Unfortunately, really not good.
I'm torn between 2 or 3 stars. But the sanitary facilities weren't cleaned once in two days and were, to put it mildly, disgusting.
The campsite itself is really nice, but it was badly damaged by the storm. I'm very sorry about that, and I fully understand that setting things up takes time. But then dirty toilets and extremely expensive for what you get. Very disappointing. I hope this otherwise lovely campsite gets some more attention.
19/05/2026: The pitches were very nice and the grounds were very well-maintained with lots of beautiful plants. The reception staff were incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were very dirty. A hot shower was only available with coins. Given the price of the pitch, this should have been included. The access road was very narrow. A large portion of the beach's embankment had broken away, making the beach quite unsightly. We wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than one night.

17/07/2025: Esperienza particolare!! Diciamo subito che prenotando in una taverna ci si aspetta un ambiente rustico/caratteristico in tutti i sensi. Questo però non deve compromettere la professionalità e competenza del personale, che in questo posto è tutto dire! Alla richiesta della carta dei vini ci è stato subito detto che i prezzi erano più o meno tutti uguali. Nessuno però aveva richiesto informazioni economiche… nel frattempo ordiniamo. Avendo al seguito tre bambini chiediamo la gentilezza di poter fare subito i primi per i bimbi. Grande efficienza sennonché si dimenticano di uno dei bambini. Nel frattempo arrivano anche i nostri piatti, che devo dire buoni alcuni,scarsini altri e confusi nella sequenza. Arrivano un po’ di antipasti , poi i secondi e poi il resto degli antipasti😂. Siamo sul finire della cena ma la bimba dimenticata continua ad aspettare. Tentiamo di intercettare uno dei camerieri, meno sudaticci, che corrono avanti e indietro, ma niente. Dopo varie richieste finalmente arriva anche il primo per la bimba. Cena finita! Uno dei pargoli però ha bisogno di essere cambiato, ci sarà il fasciatoio in bagno? Ovviamente no! Il gestore ci dice: “signò non si preoccupi lo cambi sul tavolo”. 🫣🫣 E per finire diciamo pure che i prezzi non sono proprio da taverna!!! Concludendo, posto consigliato a chi si aspetta un posto “colorato” a prezzi non proprio modici.
08/07/2025: Os pratos são bem servidos, sempre dá para 2 ou 3 pessoas, sendo assim, o preço acaba saindo mais em conta. Os peixes foram bem feitos, mas a parte dos vegetais estavam sem sabor e nadavam em óleo.
O atendimento é ruim... pessoal muito confuso, erraram no nosso prato.

26/02/2025: Locale carino, pulito e accogliente; il personale è alla mano e fa sentire a proprio agio. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo? Ni! Da rivedere, io ritoccherei i prezzi; Considerato il costo, porzioni piccole e care, seppur la materia prima era di buona qualità. Non so se magari possa ritornare, opterei per visitare qualche altro locale.
