11/11/2025: The pasta had amazing texture and flavor. The sea bream was cooked perfectly — crispy skin with tender, juicy flesh. All at a very reasonable price. I’d definitely come back if I had more time in Avola! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

15/03/2026: I wanted to write this review because I really enjoyed it and wanted to let everyone know. I visited this restaurant for Women's Day, and even though it was packed and a bit crowded due to the special occasion, the experience was wonderful from start to finish.
What amazed me most was the service: despite the crowds, the waiters were quite fast and organized. Everything ran smoothly, with no long waits between courses, which is not a given on such crowded occasions. The food was truly excellent; you could tell they were using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each course was cooked well and with care; you can immediately tell when the kitchen chooses good, authentic products.
Finally, the bill was also perfect. The price was absolutely fair and correct for the quality of the food we ate, just what I expected for a meal of this caliber. I was truly satisfied, I give it 5 stars with all my heart, and I really hope to return soon!

21/09/2025: A place that maintains the authenticity of a classic seaside kiosk but with high-quality service and food. It's located right on the Avola seafront. While we were dining, we could hear the sound of the sea.
It offers traditional dishes with a contemporary twist, paired with fine Sicilian wines. Excellent quality ingredients. The staff is available and ready to help with any requests or needs. We'll definitely be back.

12/02/2026: I've known La Scogliera for about 15 years, and the food and service have always been exceptional. Last week, a friend and I went for lunch. We waited an hour and a half for a plate of burst mussels and a plate of penne with scampi. The pasta was RAW, tasted like boiled pasta with no flavor whatsoever, and the two scampi on top were also raw. We went to pay, and the bill read: "Pasta with scampi minus pistachio cream." Not only was the pasta awful, but they also took away an ingredient and charged us €50.00. I'm done.
08/02/2026: This isn't my first time here. The two stars are for the food, which is generally acceptable, but the service is truly awful and shocking. You sit down and aren't even asked if you'd like water, they don't have a order list, and you have to constantly call the waiters because they never look around the room and you simply become a ghost. Your appetizer arrives without bread, and another 10 minutes pass before anyone notices you're calling them. And no one even comes around to check on everyone else. That said, I don't think I'll return.

14/01/2026: I ordered grilled calamari, and I noticed the last one still had the spine in it. Nothing was good. I hate to write a negative review because the staff were kind and tried their best despite their age.
10/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while on a motorcycle trip. The food was fresh and excellent, with impeccable service and a friendly staff. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: I went here in the quest of the best cannolo in Avola. This was not it - the texture of the filling was a bit off, and the cannolo had been pre-filled (which makes the crust a bit soggy and less crunchy). I also had a coffee granita which I did not like, as well as another pastry which was a bit bland. It was all takeaway. I suppose this is a good place for a quick coffee, but I wouldn't go again.

27/12/2025: An experience not to be repeated: few starters and nothing at all, only bread at will, desserts less than starters, frozen food and the embarrassment of advertising this place to my relatives.
09/11/2025: I found this agriturismo by chance on Google. I took some friends for lunch this morning and was really worried about making a bad impression. Instead, everything went well: the place was quiet, the food was very good, the portions were adequate, and you could ask for seconds. The arrival of the appetizers was wonderful; they were served from a distance, not all at once. We felt right at home. It deserves all 5 stars. Kudos to the owners.

18/03/2026: The campsite itself is laid out like a palm garden on terraces, the sanitary facilities could use a renovation and unfortunately the winter storms of 25/26 have severely damaged the beach.
15/03/2026: Extremely narrow access for larger vehicles. High prices. Hot showers cost extra.

17/07/2025: Esperienza particolare!! Diciamo subito che prenotando in una taverna ci si aspetta un ambiente rustico/caratteristico in tutti i sensi. Questo però non deve compromettere la professionalità e competenza del personale, che in questo posto è tutto dire! Alla richiesta della carta dei vini ci è stato subito detto che i prezzi erano più o meno tutti uguali. Nessuno però aveva richiesto informazioni economiche… nel frattempo ordiniamo. Avendo al seguito tre bambini chiediamo la gentilezza di poter fare subito i primi per i bimbi. Grande efficienza sennonché si dimenticano di uno dei bambini. Nel frattempo arrivano anche i nostri piatti, che devo dire buoni alcuni,scarsini altri e confusi nella sequenza. Arrivano un po’ di antipasti , poi i secondi e poi il resto degli antipasti😂. Siamo sul finire della cena ma la bimba dimenticata continua ad aspettare. Tentiamo di intercettare uno dei camerieri, meno sudaticci, che corrono avanti e indietro, ma niente. Dopo varie richieste finalmente arriva anche il primo per la bimba. Cena finita! Uno dei pargoli però ha bisogno di essere cambiato, ci sarà il fasciatoio in bagno? Ovviamente no! Il gestore ci dice: “signò non si preoccupi lo cambi sul tavolo”. 🫣🫣 E per finire diciamo pure che i prezzi non sono proprio da taverna!!! Concludendo, posto consigliato a chi si aspetta un posto “colorato” a prezzi non proprio modici.
08/07/2025: Os pratos são bem servidos, sempre dá para 2 ou 3 pessoas, sendo assim, o preço acaba saindo mais em conta. Os peixes foram bem feitos, mas a parte dos vegetais estavam sem sabor e nadavam em óleo.
O atendimento é ruim... pessoal muito confuso, erraram no nosso prato.

17/06/2025: In vacanza ad Avola, per visitare la parte orientale della Sicilia, città di partenza per visitare luoghi intrisi di storia barocca e dove le vicine spiagge tolgono il fiato, siamo indirizzati da persone del posto in questo bistrot fronte mare dove Tonino e la sua famiglia gestiscono con professionalità e passione uno spazio, dove la buona cucina la fa da padrona.
Nella settimana di permanenza ci siamo tornati più volte ... e non ci siamo mai pentiti della scelta.
L'attenzione per l'ospite, la cura dei particolari, unita alla qualità della buona cucina ed alla disponibilità di Tonino e del suo staff ... hanno reso le serate e le cene passate da e con loro meritevoli di menzione.
Al papà di Tonino un ringraziamento particolare ....
I limoni che coltiva con amore e passione, che utilizza nell'attività, e che ci ha regalato, per alcuni giorni seppur già rientrati a casa... ci hanno permesso di sentire il profumo della sua bellissima terra.

23/05/2025: Smash 🍔 with cheese was moist, tender and delicious. Not dry. Had the right seasoning. Brioche buns. Would order again. Noodles with mussels and shrimp were also delicious
