17/05/2026: The staff has always been kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs. A strong point is definitely the cuisine: authentic dishes, prepared with local products and authentic traditional flavors. Highly recommended for both couples and families. We'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: I had the misfortune of eating a gluten-free pizza from them. The base is packaged, but it didn't even go through their oven, defrosted, probably in the microwave. It was white, soggy, with very little toppings. In fact, it was completely unseasoned, and I paid for a gourmet pizza! A sort of rubbery mix that resembled Snow White! (The most inedible pizza I've tried so far) Value for money: 0

07/03/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant in Modica. The place is beautifully maintained and creates a truly peaceful and unique atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pizzas are of a quality that, in my opinion, is above average, being balanced with quality ingredients. All in all, it was a pleasant and relaxing evening.

19/04/2026: Six of us sat at a table covered in crumbs and water. We politely asked the waitress who took our order if she could clean it. She didn't come back immediately, but after a few minutes, she brought our order, but she didn't clean the table. We did it. She noticed and came back to clean, but by then we were finishing breakfast and had cleaned. Not even a word of apology. Cleaning tables is optional for a few.

01/04/2026: What an amazing place! Had a fantastic breakfast with some friends, pastries were delicious and drinks and coffees were spot on. I would totally recommend trying the granita and brioche. Also, the personnel welcomed us and was friendly and professional.

10/12/2025: A historic neighborhood bar, recently renovated. The owner is always available and friendly. They also offer excellent options for quick lunches: tasty, quick, and reasonably priced.

14/07/2025: A no-frills bar, convenient for ordering sandwiches after a mountain bike ride. The porchetta sandwich is very good, and the owner is very helpful.

02/05/2026: I'm deliberately giving Vecchio Mulino one star because, twice in a row, within a year, the waits for pizza were exorbitantly long! Although the place is large and can accommodate large groups, if there are many tables, the wait is at least an hour and a half, or even two hours, making the evening absolutely unpleasant. On May 25th, we had the same experience, so we wanted to give it another try. We definitely won't be returning. Unfortunately.

04/01/2026: Unfortunately, I received a pistachio panettone, but it was moldy all over. It was a shame to throw it away, and we felt sorry for the person who donated it.

30/05/2026: An incredibly nice little restaurant that you could easily overlook due to the bustling city surrounding it. Simple menu, which makes choosing a lot easier. Delicious food was cooked for us by a very friendly host. I had a pasta dish with goat cheese and asparagus. Absolutely insanely tasty. Good wine too :-)) Modica is a really nice, bustling city with hundreds of restaurants, bistros, and bars. But you absolutely must stop by here for at least a snack. Highly recommended.

01/02/2026: Very rustic pizzeria with exposed stonework. Nice, secluded location. Parking is awkward and narrow, plus the entrance is on the opposite side of the parking lot. The service is decent; the waiter is attentive and tidy. The pizza isn't good; it tastes like focaccia and is overcooked. The ingredients are decent, nothing exceptional. The most disappointing thing is that they advertise themselves as a restaurant and pizzeria, but on Sunday evenings they only serve pizza.

29/08/2025: I've eaten at this pizzeria often. The gastronomic experience has always been excellent. Unfortunately, however, last night I must say with deep regret that this was not the case. The service was very welcoming as always. The staff was fully capable of satisfying every need of the diners with the profound kindness that has always distinguished them. Unfortunately, the food was a completely different story. The classic and skin-on fries were excellent. The pizza ingredients were very fresh. The problem arose with the pizza dough. It didn't seem entirely freshly made, or at least recently prepared. Last night and this morning I had serious intestinal problems with severe abdominal pain. Many of the diners also reported these problems. I felt terrible. At this moment, I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone to eat pizza at this establishment. A very disappointing experience, and I say this as a loyal customer of this pizzeria.

15/06/2025: Good pizzas, on Saturday night the service could be improved in terms of timing. The highlight is a superlative sweet pizza!

13/03/2026: An excellent seafood dining experience. This recently renovated trattoria, founded in the 1960s, offers hearty seafood dishes. The raw fish and grilled fish (now white sea bream and red mullet) are excellent. Fair prices.

11/04/2026: In the heart of the city center, a gluten-free fry shop, offering everything from fish cuoppo to battered vegetables, from panini to breaded ricotta. Naturally, even non-celiacs can enjoy the various dishes without noticing any difference from "normal" fried food. There's no table service; you collect everything at the counter and sit at the tables in front of the shop.
