21/08/2024: A very nice place located in front of the sea in Mondello, recommended for bringing your partner, price within the norm and everything was exceptional, but I want to underline the impeccable service, we were served by a blond boy with light eyes who, if I'm not mistaken, is called Roberto which was perfect, we were welcomed as if we were family members with a unique friendliness, always remaining professional, a true waiter.

30/08/2024: Simple place, dedicated above all to artisanal ice creams & Co. Good products. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Medium-low prices for the genre and the area. Often crowded in the evening, especially in summer. It is often difficult to find car parking in the immediate vicinity.
29/08/2024: Excellent ice cream, waffles and churros. I go often and it's a great place to spend some pleasant time tasting good products even until late. Recommended.

28/06/2024: Thank you very much to Angela and Giovanni for their loving hospitality. The Ridocco farm (which also has animals and agriculture) is an oasis of tranquility in the middle of rural Sicily. We especially liked the landscape, the swimming pool and the possibility to walk in the big outdoors.

18/08/2024: Nothing special just a lot of ingredients put together without sense and without flavour. Our ceviche and my red mullet were full but full of lemon/lime, good only for the sore throat my wife had, the tagliolini with redfish among the various ingredients included capers, never seen before and the mussel risotto thrown away etc. only tasted like rice

22/08/2024: Ristorante che mi riprometto di riprovare , ad oggi la mia valutazione non è molto positiva, non andrò di sabato sera, locale pienissimo , bene da un lato ma a discapito sia del servizio che delle portate, molta confusione. Buoni gli antipasti ma non proprio i due spaghetti alle vongole che più che altro erano due aglio e olio con vongole. Ripeto che sicuramente andrò di nuovo non di sabato. Al prossimo Jazz festival.
22/08/2024: A restaurant that I plan to try again, to date my rating is not very positive, I won't go on a Saturday evening, the place is very full, good on one hand but to the detriment of both the service and the dishes, a lot of confusion. The starters were good but not exactly the two spaghetti with clams which were more like two garlic and oil with clams. I repeat that I will definitely go again not on Saturday. At the next Jazz festival.

30/08/2024: Very modern and well-kept cafe with great variety and abundance of ice cream and rotisserie.
The negative note is given by the house which in theory provides two stations but which, both from my individual and direct experience and from that of the regular customers who were in line and commented, only keeps one active as it also has to carry out tobacconist and betting shop services. ... Which leads to waits of up to 20 minutes.
It's a shame because if next time I see such a long queue I will definitely leave
27/08/2024: It would seem tourists are not welcome here. I came all the way from New Zealand and of course not understanding this café 's service processes was made to wait while the rude woman behind the counter served only fluent Italian speakers. It was not very busy so being ignored was especially galling. With a little patience and tolerance for those of us who struggle to speak Italian it could have been a whole different experience.

10/07/2024: Fantastic food and lovely service. Perfect for a treat night. After 8 days in Sicily this was our favourite meal, and was a MUCH needed change from the Palermo restaurants that seemed nice but served rushed and ‘touristy’ pasta/pizza etc. Please go and give your support to a business succeeding at something a bit different - enjoy the Korean fried chicken! 🤤
On a side note, the local cocktail bars they recommended, but were unaffiliated with, also loved Borgese 😊

20/06/2024: La Pasticceria Citarda in Sicilia è un vero gioiello per gli amanti dei dolci. Abbiamo potuto apprezzarne la bontà grazie al generoso omaggio del collega Pietro Romano, che ce ne ha fatto dono.
Sono stati consumati nella magica atmosfera del teatro greco di Siracusa da un gruppo di pugliesi... di bocca buona

02/06/2024: Small neighborhood bar that works at a fast pace for the goodness of its own production, also appreciated outside the neighborhood. Exquisite pastries and rotisseries, very good coffee shop. Competitive prices and attentive and polite staff. A pleasant surprise in an unquestionably overlooked context.
