28/10/2023: Our biggest disappointment from hundreds of trip advisor ratings. I don't usually rate restaurants, but tonight I feel an obligation. The shrimp with pasta, had probably 1/2 of a shrimp, served cold. The grilled swordfish was tasteless, appeared to be a frozen filet. The lamb chops were at best average. The young lady waitress did an incredible job, as the mana, owner ate, and watched her. My apologies for the negativity, but, certainly a heads up, to all.

19/10/2023: Prices clearly too expensive if you haven't made a reservation, a very special atmosphere, no longer an Irish pub, there are much better restaurants in Cefalu

31/08/2024: Very well organized beach with very friendly staff. For me it remains the most beautiful seaside spot in the province of Palermo. One thing I really appreciated is that the beach does not close in the evening so you can stay on the beach with your umbrella until late in the evening to enjoy the sunset and if you want also a good plate of pasta with clams overlooking the sunset. Highly recommended for spending a beautiful day at the seaside and a good fish dinner with the most beautiful sunset on the Palermo coast.

23/08/2024: Fantastic seaside location, clean and with welcoming staff. I have come several times. The cuisine is really excellent, the best in the area! The only flaw of the beach is the arrangement of the deckchairs a little too close to each other. Highly recommended, I give 5 stars!

07/08/2024: Magna Roma is now a fixed stop. Excellent starters, desserts and good service in general. The layout of the venue is very suggestive, with various references to Roman folklore. I highly recommend the gricia, delicious.

20/08/2024: We had a Cacio e Pepe and Carbonara for mains, both of which were delicious, followed by a lovely Tiramisu for dessert. The service from all the staff was wonderful, and the menu was very fairly priced. Our favourite pasta spot in Palermo!

20/08/2024: Great restaurant, the carbonaras are delicious. The square on which the restaurant terrace is located is very charming. This is an address to absolutely go to in Palermo!

04/08/2024: Not bad... it has improved compared to a few years ago and there is also more choice of dishes. The service can still be improved in some aspects.

24/08/2024: I went to this place for the first time last night for pizza. The place is very nice next to a watchtower from the 1500s. The pizza was excellent, we take simple pizzas, digested without problems. The bill was very honest. Also recommended as a restaurant.

20/08/2024: Head nurse rude and unfriendly and waiting times too long! Arrived at 8.30pm, ate the pizzas at 11pm and saw people who arrived after us eating first. Absurd!!

13/07/2024: A really lovely place. Limited but high quality food offers, great tunes and wonderful multilingual staff. Perfect for drinks and snacks and proper meals. We had a bottle of wine, two courses and a digestive.

And only piece by piece, where the finger was pointed at on the bill. Unfortunately the food was just: Overpriced canned food (((

06/03/2024: Luciano prepared an absolutely exquisite three-course meal for us at his elegant apartment in the historic center of Palermo. We asked for fish rather than meat, and every dish was an original, extraordinary creation, both delicious and beautiful, accompanied by a top-notch Sicilian white wine. While we were more than happy to talk with Luciano about his work and life in Sicily, he was very discreet and left us to talk and eat by ourselves also. It was a unique, unforgettable way to spend an evening in fascinating Palermo.

08/11/2023: Five stars deserved! Among the pleasures of being in Palermo there is also food, and simple street food is not lacking, but treating yourself to an experience of excellent Palermo cuisine, revisited in an elegant way, becomes a gem. Luciano with his home restaurant turns out to be a good choice: very fresh products prepared to perfection. As well as being an excellent chef, he is also an excellent host and immediately makes you feel at ease. The warm and pleasant environment is accompanied by excellent music in the background. A three-course menu chosen together with him (for those who wish there is also a tasting menu) is excellent for the eyes and the palate. Starter rated 10, main course rated 10, dessert rated 10. The proposed and recommended white wine is excellent! To try
