24/03/2025: We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday, a very beautiful and welcoming structure, very kind and friendly staff, to entertain the party we had a boy, Dominic, who entertained the guests, finishing with the beautiful music of Giovanni the DJ, excellent food, taken care of with great attention, even on the presentation of the buffet, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to celebrate any event, thanks to Roberto the Owner of the Villa for the welcome given to us

24/03/2025: a huge thank you to all the staff at Villa Margirosa, I don't feel like mentioning anyone in particular because everyone with their kindness, professionalism, empathy and availability, made my daughter Giulia's eighteenth a day she will never forget. 02/03/2025: Delicatessen offering gourmet sandwiches, squash and recently focaccia (yet to be tried), the quality of the sandwiches is excellent with quality ingredients. The service is attentive to the customer and the atmosphere is rustic and welcoming. Negative note, which disappointed me a little, was their sushilian (sushi with cured meats). The main problems are the portions being too small, the rice being cooked incorrectly, the quantity of cured meats being minimal and the flavor being overpowered by the various sauces. Too bad, the idea behind it is good, the implementation needs to be reviewed.

01/03/2025: Delicious food, all ingredients fresh. The place is distinguished by a family atmosphere, the owner is a wonderful man with a gift for cooking. I highly recommend it and will definitely visit this place on my next visit to Palermo.

06/03/2025: And then after visiting the magnificent Cathedral of Monreale we ventured to discover this small town and by chance we stopped for lunch in this lovely Taverna. For us it was a pleasant experience!!! We ate very well, my pasta alla Norma was truly excellent and the appetizers were delicious, excellent quality food, we highly recommend it 👏

06/03/2025: Simple kiosk in a side street of via Maqueda. All the characteristic Palermo street food, the very kind manager recommended a panelle, croquettes and aubergine sandwich which delighted us.

01/03/2025: I used it twice in February 2025 for lunch and dinner. The long opening hours made it convenient for tourists. The food was served quickly and everything was delicious. There was also a good selection of Sicilian wines and cheeses. It wasn't formal and I felt relaxed. I thought the price was also appropriate. The panini was very tasty. It was so big that I couldn't finish it. The caponata was also delicious with lots of fresh arugula.

01/03/2025: One of my favourite places. Actually. Because since there's no more music, it's like being in a morgue or a pathology department, where you're surrounded by nothing but the sounds of deathly silence apart from the cooling devices. I really love the friendly and charming hosts, father and son. The wines and food are also excellent. Stopped there yesterday after 6pm. They are supposed to play music there from 6pm. Unfortunately that wasn't the case yesterday. And that makes for a depressive mood instead of a cheerful one. What a pity.

02/03/2025: Spartan environment, simple but welcoming... but Salvatore the briganti-no knows how to embrace you thanks to a cuisine of local dishes, typical products, cheeses from a local dairy. Excellent starters, plentiful and complete, the first courses are all recommended, very balanced and not oily. But Salvatore... it's the added value of a simple place that makes you feel at home... recommended, very honest prices

25/11/2024: An unforgettable evening The incomparable food and its matching wines were the next best thing. The best part was that the waiter immediately saw that I am left-handed and placed the cutlery "my" way. I have never experienced that kind of attention before.

13/02/2025: The only true authentic Palermo cuisine, Milena top player in the conjugation of typical flavours, Taddeo, a skilled bartender with a complex mind but a refined hand, Andrea, L'OSTE, with an O and in all capital letters! As a Palermo native, the only place I come and go again..

05/03/2025: Excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. In my short stay in Terrasini I dined there 3 out of 4 evenings, because after the first time I always wanted to go back, both for the excellent quality of the dishes - original and delicious, both on the palate and at the sight - and for the welcome, the attentive service and the quiet and friendly environment. The value for money is also good, in line with the products served. Unfortunately I live far away and would become a regular customer!
