04/01/2026: €12 for a takeout pizza with fries, delivered an hour and a half late. The delivery guy calls, I go downstairs, wait five minutes, and it doesn't arrive. Good, yes, but I can't accept the rudeness of someone who doesn't know how to manage their own work.

28/12/2025: We had a reservation for 8:00 PM, but only one pizza arrived at 10:00 PM—the children's pizza; all the others were still missing. After numerous reminders to the staff, the situation remained unchanged. The children's pizza that arrived was burnt, but we avoided sending it back so as not to have to wait any longer. Meanwhile, takeout pizzas continued to come out as normal, while those at tables were left waiting. An unacceptable experience, especially with children, which demonstrates terrible service management.

13/12/2025: A wonderful evening at the "Nni Carminuzzu" restaurant. Here, the cuisine is not just food, but also storytelling, memory, and respect for tradition. Every dish speaks volumes: genuine ingredients, authentic flavors, a perfect balance between simplicity and character. Sincere praise to the chef, who transforms tradition into emotion, without ever betraying its soul. Passion, expertise, and true love for this land are evident in every course. A place where you eat well and feel good. My compliments: I will be back with great pleasure.

09/12/2025: They practically overwhelmed us with the numerous appetizers, all of which were excellent. The first courses were delicious, followed by the second courses, both plentiful and tasty. An excellent experience for those who want to eat well. P.S. Go without having eaten for a week. Reservations required.

06/10/2025: A truly elegant location and excellent food, but after an event that should have ended peacefully, we were very disappointed by the behavior of the owner, a long-haired man. He maintained an arrogant and disrespectful tone, with a manner that I would almost describe as intimidating, completely inappropriate. His attitude ruined the atmosphere and left a bad memory of a day that should have been nothing but joy. You don't need a location like this to treat guests this way. I strongly advise against this place for anyone looking for courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

14/08/2025: I went for some fresh pastries to celebrate my anniversary. They looked beautiful but tasted awful. They were so sugary that we couldn't enjoy them because the sugar was overpowering the flavor of the various fillings. The place, however, was quite nice, and the staff was very efficient and polite.

09/11/2025: We arrived from Agrigento with high expectations for this pastry shop and café, drawn by its reputation. The experience was overall positive, although there were some areas for improvement. Positives: The reserved parking is convenient and appreciated. The coffee service was good, but the croissants had their ups and downs: the jam was delicious, but the dough seemed average—probably not homemade, or at least not convincing. The mini croissants we ordered later were very good, however. The quality-price ratio was fair: for what we consumed, we spent relatively little. Areas for improvement: The service had some issues. Upon arrival, my girlfriend took a free table with two chairs, but by the time she had time to browse the window, one chair had disappeared (probably taken by another customer). Left with only one chair, we asked if it was possible to dry one of the outside ones that had been soaked by the morning rain, but we were told it would still be damp. We decided to eat at the counter. Meanwhile, a table became available, and after asking permission, we were able to take a chair from there to complete our seating. Furthermore, since we already had croissants in hand from the counter, we sat down to enjoy them, but the coffee and latte macchiato arrived only after about 5-6 minutes, when we were almost finished with our croissants. Conclusion: Coming from Agrigento, we were perhaps expecting a little more in terms of quality, but the quality-price ratio is balanced for both the products and the service offered. A decent pastry shop, without any particular excellence, but honest overall.

05/03/2026: Every time we go to Sciacca, we stroll through Caltabellotta, which I've dubbed the village of silence (great for recharging your batteries), and we always have lunch at La Ferla. With this review, I reiterate what I've written in the past: I recommend the house appetizers, the carbonara with zucchini, the mutton, and the zuccotto. All enjoyed with a spectacular view. Recommended

10/02/2026: Lunch: I've never eaten such a delicious roll before, topped with juicy ham, fried onions, and vegetables (approx. €6.50). The chef is fantastic! But my husband, who didn't want a roll and asked for fried vegetables with sausage, was led to believe by the waitress that they did have a mixed grill with vegetables; she kept pointing to a "carne" dish for two, for €20. We agreed because there wasn't anything similar, but what we ended up with wasn't just a mixed grill for €20, but also a separate vegetable platter for two, for an additional €12. A lunch for €32 for one man while his wife eats a sandwich? That's usually the price you'd pay for dinner. ... The woman who served us, and who talked loudly on her phone through a speakerphone at the next table throughout our entire meal, couldn't possibly grasp that we could hardly possibly want a panini AND two meat and vegetable platters for just the two of us? Or perhaps she simply wanted to squeeze as much money as possible out of us tourists – €52 for the described meal, a glass of wine, and two coffees – because she figured we'd never come back? The latter is certainly true – we definitely won't be coming back! It's a shame, because the nice gentleman really did cook fantastically!
